Brody smiled and pulled out his BlackBerry, pulling up Alyce's phone number and pushing the send button, waiting for her to pick up the phone.

Graham pulled the car into the lane behind another car, waiting until the ferry staff directed his lane to drive onto the ferry. He put the Eclipse into park before turning the key in the ignition, turning the car off. He got out and went around to Troya's side, opening the door and offering her his hand to help her out. "Have you been on the ferry before, Troya?"

Alyce picked up her cell phone and whispered into it, "Hello?". Flinching, she waited to see who it was and at the same time listening to any footsteps or other noisees in her house.

"Hey Alyce, it's Brody. I got your message, Seth and I were just swimming in the lake and must have missed you.. Did you want to come over? Or should we come over there?" His voice was smooth but cheerful.

"Hey...Uhh I dunno I'm kinda locked in the closest...", Alyce said still whispering. Then hearing foot steps outside the door she squeaked and accidently dropped the phone, "Ugh sorry uh yea like I said...I'm locked up by Adam for taking his wallet...".

"He WHAT?!" Brody was suddenly serious. "Alyce... I'm coming to get you." he said, his jaw clenched.

The sound on the other end of the line was just the dial tone. Brody had already hung up.
"Seth.... I have to go bail Alyce out of her own home. If you'd wait here for just a bit... I won't be long. You can help yourself to anything you'd like." Brody was obviously furious. He knew Adam was no good. He picked up his keys and stormed out of the house to the garage. He wanted to run, but he knew Seth could still see him. Better drive a ways away and park the car before running. He opened the garage and got into the white Mustang that was waiting, and pulled out of the garage, not even bothering to shut the door. He floored it and drove down the driveway and onto the street.

Seth barely had time to react before he was out the door. She shook her head and smiled a bit, laying her head down on the armrest of the couch. The t-shirt bunched up around her, warming her. Soon, she was asleep.

"Alyce! Who were you talking to?!", Adam yelled at Alyce on the otherside of the closet. Het sat down on a chair that was agaisnt the locked door.
"None of your business! Now let me out!", Alyce yelled back, banging on the door. She would've broken down the door, if it wasn't the one in her room and the fact that he would probably do something worse to her.

Brody had left his Mustang at the closest rest stop, going the rest of the way to Alyce's house on foot. He remembered exactly where it was. He glared at the house for a moment before striding up to the front door, kicking it open. He stood in the doorway, his face pure anger. He walked into the room far enough to see Adam sitting in a chair in front of the closet.
"Get........Up." he ordered.

"Oh great Alyce you called him?!", Adam yelled back at the closet and then stood up with his arms crossed in front of him. "Can I help you...?", he asked annoyed, glaring at Brody.
"Shut up Adam and let me out already! I told you I was going to pay you back", Alyce banged on the door again. Giving up she leaned against the door and tried to hear what they were saying.

"She didn't call me... I called her." Brody said. it only took him a second to appear next to Adam, grabbing the chair and pulling it away from the door handle, tossing it onto the floor. "Maybe you don't know this, but it's not polite to keep ladies locked in the closet." His tone was cold, and his ocher eyes were narrowed at Adam.

Adam rolled his eyes and walked over, sitting on Alyce's bed watching him.
Alyce kicked the door open and glared over at Adam, "I'm going to burn you...".

Brody was somewhat angry Adam hadn't even put up a fight.
"Alyce... gather your things. You're coming to stay with me for awhile."
He stood staring at Adam.
