Regina laughed. "Just to get out of the general area of the other xmen. See what else is around here, and yeah maybe we can find another secret. Or make one of our own..." She stuck out her tongue at him in play.
Jean walked over to the new girl from her area of training. "Welcome to the Xavier institute. I'm Jean Grey, one of the teachers here."
(ooc: that's the best i can do for an NPC right now. I was attacked on AIM)

ooc: okay, tnl has head off for the night, so i'll just npc jean for a little bit.

"Hello Delta, would you mind following me inside? We'll get you a room and possibly talk to the Professor. He's a bit... off lately." Jean said with a frown, using her powers to levitate Delta's two heavy bags of the ground.

Oh, thank you... *She mumbles and swollows heavily, looking around the strange place just wishing she was still at home sad Sees her suitcases float up and stares at them in amzement, her mouth hanging open as she forgets everything else*

Jean smiled some at the girl's expression. "Sorry about that.... You must be sad. But we are your family too here. Perhaps not at first, but there are a lot of very nice people here."

*Looks down and twists her foot around on the floor sub-consciously, something she does as a habit when nervous. Raises her head smiles at the teacher, trying not to let on how nervous she is to be here crying *

"Come along, we need to get you settled before night fall and the camping trip... Phenix has decided that all students are to go on the trip to meet each other and make friends." Jean explained as she levitated the suitcases toward the mansion.
ooc: i'm sorry, but i'm being pulled in 3 different directions outside of the thread so if i'm slow.... or suddenly stop, that's why.

John was so focused at staring at the hideout that it took him a while to notice the bird on Larry's head. He smiled. "Hey you, how long have you been here? I was starting to worry about you, Noko"

"Of course there are." Jean replied. "I'll try to set you in the same room as one of the same age as you, so you have similar things to talk about."
Leading the way to the rooms, Jean explained some of the things regarding the mansion and the rules.

John looked her and put on the most innocent face he could make. "What do you mean? Nothing's going on. Why does something have to be going on? Me and Larry are just....wathcing the stars!!!" John said with a smile. She'll never believe that, he thought to himself.

*Follows behind her listening carefully to all the rules. Is shown to a room and stands back nervously as the suitcases float in and land softly beside the empty bed off to the side. Walks in slowly after them and looks around the room. Turns back to the teacher* Thank you smile
