Then she put her hand down and left another copy of the seal on the ground. "That's fine." said the Fourth with a smile. "Okay, now it helps to use this one hand seal when you perform this technique." said the Hokage as he formed the hand seal for dEx. She nodded to him. Then the Fourth pulled out a kunai and tossed it out to a tree about 30 feet away.

She watched closely as he focused and formed the hand seal. "Flying Thunder God Technique." he said. Then in a flash he had disappeared from in front of her. She turned to look at the kunai and saw him reappear almost as soon as he had disappeared. dEx realized that her mouth was hanging open, but she couldn't help it. She regained her composure as the Hokage formed the hand seal again.

He used the technique once more to return to the seal he had placed on the ground earlier. The Fourth Hokage smiled at dEx as she stared at him for a moment. Even Shadow was looking at him a bit surprised at how quickly he had moved from one place to the other. "Do you want to give it a try?" he asked. dEx quickly smiled and nodded to him.

dEx carefully concentrated on the seal and then she took off running towards a tree. She jumped up into the air and placed a seal on it. Then she continued running and headed for the Fourth. Before she got to him she formed the hand seal. "Flying Thunder God Technique!" she called out. She disappeared from in front of the Hokage and reappeared up in the tree.

Then she quickly pulled out a kunai and used her sharp clawlike nail to etch the seal on it. dEx tossed the kunai so that it buzzed by the Fourth, but he didn't even blink at it. It hit the ground behind him and she formed the seal again. "Flying Thunder God Technique!" she called out as she disappeared again. The Hokage knew what she was planning and spun around to see her reappear over the kunai.

To the Hokage's surprise she was still holding the hand seal for the technique. "Flying Thunder God Technique." she said almost the instant that she reappeared. Then she disappeared confusing the Hokage for a moment. dEx reappeared behind the Fourth on the seal she had place on the ground earlier and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smiled at her.

"You're good at making use of your surroundings and all of the seals at your disposal. That's very good." said the Fourth. Then they turned when they heard someone approaching. The Second Hokage was approaching them. "Could I show her a few techniques? The Third told me about her and I think I can help her out a bit." he said as he walked up to them.

"Of course, I need to be off anyway." said the Fourth. dEx bowed and thanked the Fourth for showing her the technique and he left in a flash. The Second Hokage looked at dEx and smiled. "Do you know many genjutsu skills?" he asked. dEx shook her head. "Only a few really. I've generally focused more on ninjutsu and taijutsu." she replied.

The Second Hokage nodded to her. "I'm going to show you a useful genjutsu skill first and then we'll move on to some strong water ninjutsu techniques." said the Second. dEx smiled as she waited to see what kind of illusionary technique he was going to show her. "This technique is called Bringer of Darkness." he explained.

"Basically, this is an illusionary technique that surrounds your opponent in darkness." explained the Second Hokage. "Good. Go ahead and read this scroll and then I will demonstrate the technique for you so that you can watch my hand seals." said the Second. dEx nodded and prepared to watch the Second closely as he demonstrated the genjutsu for her.

The Second Hokage began to slowly perform the hand seals. dEx watched him and then she was surrounded by darkness. She felt a bit like she was falling beause there was no real up or down. dEx had to fight to overcome the effect and try to use her sense of smell to find the Hokage, but it was still a bit difficult. It almost felt as if she was floating in nothingness.

She was glad she didn't have a full stomach. Before long the darkness disappeared as mysteriously as it had appeared around her. dEx was relieved to see the clearing and the Second Hokage again. "Your turn to try it now dEx." said the Second Hokage with a smile. dEx took a moment to adjust to the light and regain her bearings.

Then dEx began to perform the hand seals that the Second had just used. "Bringer of Darkness!" she called out. dEx watched as the darkness began to surround the Second, but she could still see through it. Then she was a bit disappointed to see that the darkness wasn't thick enough and the Hokage could still see through it so it was somewhat like looking through sunglasses for him.

dEx sighed and stopped the technique lifting the faint darkness from around the Second Hokage. She was surprised to see that he was smiling at her. "That was fine for your first attempt. If you were stronger in genjutsu techniques then you might've gotten it on the first attempt. You did well to create that much darkness on your first attempt" he said reassuringly.

dEx nodded to him as she thought over what she could to to correct the tehcnique on the next attempt. "Just focus a bit more chakra and you'll probably master it on the next attempt." said the Second. dEx smiled to him and then began to focus her chakra carefully. This time she gathered up more chakra and tried to control it a bit more closely.
