Appletail woke up, tired yet excited. Sandpaw was leaving, but then worry gripped his heart. What if Sandpaw died along the way? RiverClan's fault, since WindClan offered to keep Sandpaw until he was well.color]
Lightface walked out of her den, and murmured, "Torrenstar is the biggest mouse-brain there is!" She swished her tail. "Doesn't he know a cat can't cross two territories when received the worst out ofa dog fight?"

Hawkpaw returned to camp carrying the pieces of prey that he had spent most the night catching. He placed them on the pile and grabbed a piece of prey and sat down to eat it in the center of camp.

Kei: thanks heart And umm, Dragoneyes is my mentor... but Brackenfur can take her for now... if you'd like. Right now he's going on a dawn patrol but.... yeah sweatdrop ))
Hazelpaw jumped up and followed her friend inside the medicine cats den. "I don't think he's ready to leave." she whispered into Lightpaw's ear. ((I know. I meant like how Firestar trained Brackenpaw while Graystripe was sick. Not to completely take over the training.))

Sandpaw slowly opened his eyes. He only vaguely remembered the conversation he had last night with Smallstar and Lightface, but he did remember something about Torrentstar coming soon. Getting hungry, he tried to get up, only to fall back with a thump. He groaned. I hope he doesn't come soon, Sandpaw thought. He did want to go back to RiverClan, but he didn't want to die trying.

Lightface immediately went over to Sandpaw. "Hungry?" She mewed, then went and got a rabbit for him. "It's not fish, but it's good." She mewed, placing it in front of Sandpaw.

Sandpaw nodded thankfully and took a few bites out of the rabbit. It was pretty good, but he would still have fish over it if he had a choice.

((Poor Torrentstar he is judged so harshly when he is just worrying about his silly mousebrained apprentice crying anyway a storm is a'brewin!... seriously... a storm has suddenly formed over the Riverclan camp, be ready!)) Lightpaw nodded back to her friend in agreement as she watched the Riverclan apprentice struggle to stand. She wondered why Torrentstar wanted to come so soon. Then again he didn't know Sandpaw was in this condition. He was probably just worried. It's not like he had seen him at all since the actual dog fight. She left when Lightface brought him food. It would do him no good to disturb him anymore. She walked out into the open and noticed the sky getting a little darker. She felt her whiskers twitch. She could feel a storm coming... a big one. She hoped Torrenstar noticed before he tried to cross the river.

Smallstar looked as up as the apprentice trotted across the clearing. He called out to her: "Hazelpaw! Has Dragoneyes left with the patrol yet? She needs to get a move on!"

Hazelpaw left the medicine cat den and padded up to Smallstar. "No, she hasen't left yet. Brackenfur is over there waiting for her." she informed.

Lightface grimaced. "Fox dung!" She mewed as rain splattered all across WindClan camp. She retreated to the warm safety of her den, looking at the rain. "Sandpaw, sorry to tell you, but Torrenstar's coming here for nothing. You are not well enough to go back yet. They're trekking over the river, the moor, and to us and we have to tell them that Sandpaw's not ready to leave yet."
Appletail looked outside, rain started to fall. He walked over to Smallstar, and mewed, "Smallstar? May I go on the patrol...instead of Dragoneyes this morning?" He mewed, flicking his tail. "I mean, it looks like Dragoneyes isn't up yet. Can I go instead of her?" He looked at the sky as a few drops started to fall. "If we go, we can go before it starts really pouring."
(Just to save us from waiting for Nightmare. WHERE ARE YOU? First it's Kei, now it's Nightmare. Next...Pirate shall be missing! ninja Oh noes.)

Smallstar nodded. "I actually want her here this morning when Torrentstar comes. It will probably be a delicate negotiation. Take Brakenfur and Lightpaw with you." He paused. It was time for her to get another evaluation. "Evaluate her for me, will you?" he then asked. Dismissing her with a twitch of his ears, he got up and walked into the medicine den.
