Raine wrong his fingers quickly aroudn in any direction that they would go. He kept to this for a few minutes listening to hear another click, but there was nothing at all. Taking a break, he pulled his hands apart and attempted to see in once more, with no avail. the nail and liver of metal filling any visible area. He lifted his head and began to move his fingers more slowly, pushing harder in as if he were going to push straight through the lock.

Raine's head rolled back over his shoulder to check for any possible onlookers. It dawned on him what he was trying to do. Even though the small boy intended to pay with every cent he had, he was still breaking and entering into a store. Raine had never ever imagined doing such a thing, and would have laughed at the very idea of sitting on his knees in the mud, trying to break a lock with a nail and a strip of metal in the dark.

His attention turned back to the lock, and the small boy leaned in pushing his shoulders back as his eyes squinted to break through the dark. His fingers white as they gripped their utensils forcefully. He moved them very slowly know, trying to visualize what he was breaking through with each thing that the metal hit. Pushing his hand down and pulling the nail up while he braced the strip of metal set a dim click out. The boy took a heavy breath with relief and stopped for a second to let his hands rest.

Raine pulled his knees in closer as he leaned back on his legs, the lock now just above his eyes. He was trying to get a upward angle and recreate exactly what he had done just before. With little luck he went on like this for about a minute. After this failed to work he went he varied his technique a small bit, until he was back up gazing hard at something he could not see while his hands twisted and pulled the metal in through the lock to try and back through. He had no clue how many clicks he would have to go through but the boy was intent on getting that Harmonica. It meant everything to him.

As he thought of this and his eyes fell away for a bit, his hands worked on and a soft click broke through his thoughts. Flicking his eyes back to the lock Raine set back to his job, he could reminisce later.

Raine pulled the nail out a bit and focused on what he could do with the little metal piece he had found. Once more checking behind him. The music from the rock concert that the stupid Tsuchikage had been playing was wafting past him. Thinking of that retched man Raine grimaced to himself. The way he had taken that otogakurian boy and spirited him away on a big horse. Than with the guitar and what-not. "Hmph" Let go with his obvious detest. However, in light of recent events and respecting the peace Raine thought it might be best to put the wicked thoughts from his mind for a bit.

A click came once more from the lock when he had calmed himself enough to move the metal smoothly through the lock. Once more he let out s short sigh of relief however filled with wonder about how long this process would take.

Raine thought of the Harmonica that lay just inside, he thought of big dark hands swaying from side to say with the instrument in their palms. Than he thought of his own hands, small and rough, untrained. If nothing else he simply wanted to hold the thing in his hands, and have it just a Hatchi had. an Other click came, followed by a larger more audible click that gave Raine a delightful startled. He grabbed the door and pulled the handle, with a heavy moan the wood followed. And a pleasant smell of wood and cleaning chemicals filled his nose. There was no like except that of the street lights that fell in over the room in an orange glow. A clutter of shelves and walls filled with stringed instruments, guitars, cellos, violins. While heavy cases were piled up under tables and some smaller ones were open upon the table. It was a surprisingly extensive collection. However, it was the village hidden in the sound, and held some of the best music stores in all the country.

Leaving the door behind him. Raine left his metal utensils and stepped instantly to the window, knowing that this place was forbidden. He stopped before the window case spotting the Harmonica once more. His pace slowed and he reached out cautiously to pick the thing form it's place. The metal was cold and heavy, with thick deep scratches in it in some places. Pulling the thing closer and hold it in his hands Raine heart welled. It was old and dull, even too big for the small boy's hand, but it had such an air about it that he knew he had to have. Pulling all the ryo from his pocket (A mere 10ryo) and throwing it on the place where the Harmonica had been. He stepped away in the silent room and closed his eyes, hearing Hatchi's song once more. A tear leaked from his eye once more as he stood. The was silence for a long while, before he heard steps down the street he was on. Wide eyed he stepped to the window, a young couple walked past laughing. They hadn't stopped to notice the open door and left as quickly as they came, none-the-less he knew his mission was done and he had to leave. Closing the door behind him, Raine ran off down his own back alleys, towards the village center.

Nakamura's gaze lowered to Kusari's arm while he did his best to hide himself behind it, speaking of those that had passed with such great regard to their memory. Her left hand took his trunk-like forearm, lowering it down as if to show that she didn't care for titles. While she kept her contact with him, taking in and seemingly absorbing a small amount of heat from his arm, she moved her hand up to his cheek.

"Thank you. It is because of them that I brought about these decisions... among others." she paused, her eyes doing all the talking as they seemed to point at Kaida and Wahotts. Tracing the marks on his arms, Nakamura could already tell that he was released prematurely... yet it was to be expected. "I hope you didn't give the medics any trouble."

It was at that time, that she had heard her name through that very same metallicish voice that marked her former shinobi. Perhaps he could be a sparring partner for Kaida. She has some of my defensive arts down; but her trademark attacks from her brother... a sight to behold. It would be good for the two of them to travel with us if nothing else but to spar one another and gain their respective strengths.

"That depends; Hiro Knight; if you care to know just how you came to forget things, whether you wish to gain those memories back, or simply if you wish to continue on as things are now." she turned away from Kusari, presenting herself as the Lady of the Snow and not of the Waterfall.

"I plan on going to the Leaf Village once I return home. Perhaps you'd care to join me? The question isn't placid, or an order, it's an invitation should you wish to train in another Land." she answered, a hidden smile crept silently into her mind, not letting on that she knew anything about his absence. Then again, most Kage kept track of all of their shinobi...

Without waiting for an answer, Nakamura shuffled towards the back of the Otokage before he could get away. She had one last thing for him.

"Lord Otokage." she called to him, unable to move quickly in her formal garb; "I have but one final request. Should you happen to run into any wayward travellers of the Snow, show them this." she explained, taking a Yukigakure Morning Lilly from the sleeves of her kimono. "Simply show them that. It is my mark. If you have it, then they will know we are at peace." She handed the flower to the Otokage, assuring that it was indeed Nakamura's mark, she turned her head to the side, showing that there was an identicle flower above her left ear. She eyed Kaida and then Wahotts, wondering how she was taking this situation.

Rauhbahn stared from the rooftops of the houses overlooking the scene of the diplomatic celebration and th two leaders seemingly conversing over somehting. He wouldnt try to do anything to listen in on the historic moment but watch all of the children celebrate the at long last peace between the two villages.

Meanwhile......

Shisui and Shif walked out from the alleyway they had been onlooking from seeing the celebration the two ANBU stared at the crowded city center aloft with joy and merryment. The two ANBU looked on and then up to the rooftops towards the lone Anzan atop the rooftops.

Hiro look at his feet in deep contemplation. He wanted to return to Takigakure. Mostly because he wanted to hone his skills, but another part of him wanted to be back in the place he supposedly called home. But really, he didn't know why he had memories of Suna. For all he knew, Sunagakure was his real home. Whatever it was, he would find out in time. "Well.. It seems like a great offer but.."

Gomankeii narrowed his eyes, "You fool." He crossed his arms and turned his head in frustration, "You always run your mouth about getting stronger, but you are too stupid to know how to do it. Do you think training by yourself will make you powerful? If you really knew anything about anything," Gomankeii shrugged with arrogance, "You would know that training with a Kage is the way to go. Think about it- if you travel with the Lady Takikage, imagine some of the jutsu you might learn from her? Not only that, but Kusari, too. Now that I think of it, you had taken a fondness to that sword of his"

Hiro stopped abruptly and considered the only wise thing Gomankeii had ever told him. He then looked back to Nakamura and said with a smile, "But on the other hand, I think it would be nice to travel abroad.. Meet new people, learn new things. If you wouldn't mind the extra baggage, I would really like to go with you to Konoha. And besides, I believe everything will come back to me in time" he nodded his head, "And I would also like to ask you if I could train with you- actually, train with all of you" he said, turning to the others in the surrounding area, "That's if.. You can handle me" he said with a laugh.

Gomankeii snarled. Hiro was beginning to turn back to normal. It didn't really matter though. He would never find out anything about Hikaru, and he would definately never find out who caused the amnesia. "I'm so.. Brilliant!" Gomankeii boasted to himself.

Lag shifted about uncomfortably. So, Hiro was probably leaving soon. He sighed and started to think. He smiled suddenly, and looked around him, "I've got to train.. If I am ever going to ask Hiro to let me train with him"

((Akio's Debut!))

"Heh..." The young man stood amidst the crowd, his black coat flapping slightly in a brief wind that seemed to rustle him, if only for dramatic effect. He looked around him at this celebration, a calm sort of earnestness in his eyes and smile. "Yes...this is indeed a fine place... the perfect stage for my next performance." he suddenly made a rather dramatic stance, raising his hand poetically, as if professing love for the heavens themselves. "Oh god above, I pray you let this beautiful stage shine for me, and let all we actors play our parts in this grand display..."
"
His words were not shouted, nor even particularly exclaimed. It sounded more like a humble request the young man was making to someone standing next to him. His light hearted smile continued, his hand lowering as he looked about. "Now..." he cast his attention about "I suppose I'll need to settle in in this delightful metropolis..." A particularly fat Marchant caught his eye.

"Ah! Pardon me my good fellow!" The merchant turned his head, one of the few who didn't seem to celebrating.

"Hm? Who're you?"

Akio walked up to the man at a steady stroll, his head held high and his posture impeccable. "Ah, the humble man speaks not of himself, and I'm nothing if not humble sir." he bowed slightly, his rather happy attitude unabashed by the stranger's sour expression. "I am a traveler but newly arrived to your wondrous hamlet, and I was wondering if I could inquire as to what this merry making is about?"

But for some reason he felt he could trust this boy. It was...just an odd feeling. He frowned back at the celebration. "The Kage, young fool that he is, just declared us at peace with a Yuki..." he shook his head in disapproval. "All these gibbering idiots think peace is a good thing...but all it'll do is make us weak, you mark my words. Those bastards'll stab us in the back soon enough... I'd bet money on it."

Akio looked innocently bewildered "Why sir, that's a rather harsh thing to say isn't it? After all even if it's an illusion, if peace brings people happiness, then let them love it for a while. If the illusion's strong enough, why, your enemies might some day believe it as well, and truly become your allies, yes?"

The man scoffed distastefully. "Idealistic garbage...Pfft, you'd best leave that behind you boy... if you know what's good for you." the man stormed of, presumably heading out of the district, and heading home.

Akio waved "Thank you for the advice sir! You have a nice day!" but then his look fell to one of a mild displeasure, as soon as the man was out of sight. "What an unpleasant character..." he smiled again though, tossing a small pouch in his left hand that looked remarkably simalar to the pouch that had been about the Merchant's waist.

"Still, I think I'll take that wager of his. I'll just take my winnings in advance eh?" he snickered to himself, pocketing the money. He then crossed his arms, his mood still at full swing."Now...I wonder where a gentlemen might find food and pleasant company about these parts."

Kaida watched the others moving, and thought she caught the hint of whispers but never was quite sure having not been listening very hard. She saw people staring at her, and wasn't fond of it at all. Pulling up her white fur cloak and the handmade mask over her head to hide her face she moved closer to Wahotts. I just wanna go home... or away from here. I don't care if we are supposed to be friends now I don't feel safe here. she thought to her furry friend.

Wahotts nuzzled his head against Kaida's side and moved so she could climb atop his back again, knowing what she felt before she said so. It will be fine I'm sure we wont have to stay much longer. I'm here to keep you safe and we're real ninja now, we can protect ourselves. his words were confident in her mind and his own courage warmed her tired spirit a little as his tail wagged slightly and he moved nearer the giant man, knowing Kaida felt safest by her brother's side.

Kaida smiled slightly from behind her mask and scooted back on Wahotts so she could lean forwards so she was more laying on his back than sitting. Her arms and legs hanging off his sides as one hand ran through his fur distractedly. I know Wahotts... i just don't feel like a real ninja yet... she thought back. Her eyes flicked up and through the eye holes she saw Naka-chan-sensei giving the Otokage one of her pretty flowers. Deep in her soul she felt the flicker of the flames she and her brother shared in their veins. She turned away and shoved them back letting her mind wander.

Kusari let her guide his arm away and met her gaze with his own ice-blue eyes as he felt the cooling touch of her hand seeming to absorb heat from his flesh. As her hand reached his cheek he let the faintest hint of a smile dance only on the corners of his lips. It was a small gesture so undetectable Nakamura would probably be the only one to notice such a subtle change. His gaze flicked over to his little sister when her own gaze communicated to him without words and he nodded to her in response. "Its a great act and one I will do all I can to uphold and maintain, for many of the same reasons, and many of my own." He stated softly as her hand began to trace down the marks on his arms. He let a more knowing smirk of mischief show faintly on his lips as she asked him if he gave them any trouble. He remembered much protesting, but no one foolish enough to stand in his way when he had left and so he spoke truthfully when he answered. "I was more cooperative than usual. They were a bit cross at my own decisions as to when I should depart, but you know how clingy medics can be." It was another of his attempts at humor as she looked away from him and moved in a more business like fashion to address a boy he was attempting to remember more clearly. As he thought he vaguely remembered something about the boy showing promise and potential to attempt to learn secrets Kusari knew and taught to only those he believed could handle it...which were few. He watched the kid a moment longer and then turned to watch Nakamura as she interacted with the Otokage again. He felt Wahotts nearby him and glanced down to See Kaida with her hood up and mask on. Tenderly he reached down with one hand and let it rest upon her shoulder a moment reassuring her and then beckoning for them to stay close as he moved to stay by Nakamura's side maintaining his role as attacker deterrent.

Kasuke stood in silence for a moment looking out over his people, before turning to the Yuki ninja, Nakamura actually offering him a small flower. The man took it with care, the small flower cool in the palm of his hand. "All from the snow will be more than welcome here." He thought for a moment about what he could possibly offer in return to the gesture, that would serve as a symbol for the alliance with the sound. Kasuke's eyes glided to the ground, surely it would be outdoing it, but none-the-less. He pulled his hand up behind his head and pushed his headband up over hid head. Holding the purple band in his hand, he turned it over to reveal another thin metal plate on the back side, the Okazai crest deeply entrenched in the metal.

"This is the only headband that bares both the Okazai and Sound crest, it is undoubtedly mine and any otogakurian will know these symbols. Present this and you'll have peace with any sound that have not witnessed our great reconciliation." he held the flower warming in his hand up closer to his body. "They shall collectively symbolize our peace."

Raine was quick in his step, worried that someone might have seen him or the owner might return to discover that his door was unlocked and a the Harmonica in the window was missing. The tinge of guilt beat quickly in his chest as he reentered the crowd, under the impression that every one around him might suspect what he had been up to or possibly hear his thoughts about his very first criminal act! The boy pocketed his beat-up treasure quickly. Placing his Aian Nakkurru in his pocket as well, to make sure that any pick pockets would meet with his blade before they met with his stolen Harmonica. Zipping the pocket, Raine looked up and took a deep breath, watching the happy faces around him. A man passed looking horribly frustrated and discontent, the small boy couldn't help but sympathizing in his feelings of unhappiness over the new peace. It seemed to sudden, to impossible for such a wicked person ad Raine thought Nakamura to be. He pressed on through the happy faces, his hand pulling up to push his mohawk away and meeting with the metal of his headband. The small musical note under his finger, his belly filled with guilt once more and he thought of all the good that would come from this.

He made his way through the main streets to see if he could find Lavi, or maybe Kimiko and Xen. He sneered at the thought of the white-haired boy's company but thought it might be more interesting than wandering around sad in a massive crowd of happy people. Faces past and Raine let his gaze fall to the ground, unaware of the people passing he trudged on towards a boy walking before him.

Akio's smile didn't falter as the young boy nearly collided with him, indeed it seemed to grow a margin wider, his eyes maintaining their almost amazing confidence. Despite the fact he'd been facing the other direction, the young man seemed to know the boy was behind him.

With a grace and rather audacious flare many would have considered unnecessary, he jumped quickly to the side, his body actually preforming a quick twirl before landing, his smile still completely joyous. Just as the boy past where he would have been standing he brought his hand down to rustle the boy's hair as though he was a little brother.

His smile positively beaming, his eyes closed so as to accommodate for the cheer, Akio chuckled "Whoa there little friend. Do pay more attention. A gentlemen must be more aware of his surroundings." he removed his hand from the boy's head and stood to his full height "Still, perhaps you might give me some directions yes? Might you know where I could find a pervayer of the nourishing variety?" he laughed to himself, once more forgetting his extravagant vocabulary. "That is to say, a place that sells food?"

Akio liked talking to strangers. It was one of his favorite pastimes. Next to his craft...and of course, as should be every Gentleman's priority, entertaining the ladies. Even in a brief glance Akio could tell this boy had good eyes. Yes indeed, good eyes. And as his mother used to say, good eyes, good soul. He could overlook carelessness easily with eyes like that.

(Love the langauge, he's got a bit of an accent right? English, that's what I got when I read that.)

Raine quickly started at a flutter of movement beside him. Realizing that the boy was dodging his oblivious passage through the streets Raine gasped in embarrassment. "Wow, sor-" He was cut off by the older boy's hand ruffling his hair, a short moment of anxiety fell over him as he twinged away from the hand that was quickly gone. The small boy flipped his neck to replace any misshapen part of his mowhawk, pushing himself up to appear taller and more definite in his stance. At being called little his eye twitched, yet he still felt inclined to be polite after having nearly run the boy down.

The words flowed from the boys mouth more finely than Raine's own tongue could produce, obviously not from here. Raine's eyes searched this stranger for signs of his origin, just realizing the excellent tumbling that had been preformed by this stranger. He was obviously quick on his feet, maybe a ninja? What would a ninja be doing now? Here, on the eve of a fragile peace. The small was intent on figuring this one out. Maybe even following him. When he asked for directions Raine smiled.

"Everyone knows Rima's got the best ramen in Oto. I was just going there actually." he said, putting away his grudge at the "little" comment. And setting himself on the new mission. "You want to come along?"
PostPosted: Thu Jan 14, 2010 11:36 am

(Yes indeed. He does at that. Though his origin is from the countries, he was raised trapped in his families mansion.)

Akio seemed pleased...though indeed he seemed pleased most of the time. "Truly? Delightful then. What serendipitous meeting, that is to say, a happy coincidence." he held out his hand politely, his smile still, oddly enough entirely genuine. Indeed it didn't seem possible the boy could make an ingenuous smile. "Akio is my name, dear friend. Humble traveler, and gentlemen at large." He seemed to chuckle at his own joke. Though...very few would have realized that indeed he'd been joking. He'd an odd sense of humor and it was very difficult to tell when he was being serious or not. "I would be most honored, and grateful, come to that, to accept your invitation. Might I ask the name of my young friend?"

Despite all his fluff and bluster, Akio Toormia was many things. A fool was not among them, lest one added the addendum "for women". The boy's head band had been one of first things he'd noted about the young man.

This however, had only made him more pleased to be accompanying the boy. Akio did what he did to have fun, and the closer he walked to the edge the more the fun the game was. Speaking with someone who was suspicious of him, or had the ability to detect him for who and what he was, just made things a little more interesting. And he did so enjoy interesting. Besides as he noted before, this boy had good eyes, had a good soul.

(t'would be time for a diplomacy check my friend.)

Even through his alien voice, this Akio seemed like a perfectly nice person. Raine knew better than to trust strangers though. Especially on a night like this, it didn't seem right that people who weren't villagers were wandering around celebrating for Oto. He let his body relax more but stayed on guard.

"Well Akio, I'm Tekkenseisai Raine of the Otogakure Shinobi!" His chest puffed out at this and he smiled broadly. Truly introductions were on of his favorite things. "Rima's place is just over here actually." He flung up his finger pointing across the edge of the crowd. He lead the way slipping through the crowd with ease and making his way towards the wide stairway leading just out of the square and into a less busy area. Rima's Ramen shop broadcaster on a red and orange sign off to the corner of the cobbled road.

"So you from here?" he hinted at the accent, gently seeing if he could pry any information away.
