Crow frowned from his perch in the tree, his powers were meant to destroy lives among other things, but then again he did seem to hold the best chance to disable without killing. He hopped down from his perch and landed on the ground with a soft thud, it was likely the guards would hear, but it didn't matter. As soon as the guards heard and took aim at his position Crow's power took hold, time slowed in his eyes. From here he rushed into the cave and past the guards, then back past them again and a short distance away from his friends. He calmed his mind and time seemed to return to normal, this new ability was proving more and more useful every moment. As things returned to normal in his eyes the guards were blown to opposite sides of the cave and knocked unconscious, the reason was the air pressure concussions created by Crow's lightning speed dash past them, and as such there were large fractures in the ground from where he'd passed. All that would be seen in Strobe and Max's veiw would be the guards flying into the walls, the sudden cracks in the ground, and Crow seemingly teleporting a few feet farther from them. He looked over towards them and nodded, in case they were suspicious of the strange occurances. He had a strange feeling that they were being watched, and not just by Kioko, but perhaps it was just the fact that he was back in this place he'd had to endure for so long.

max almost panicked, thinking holy crap, they know my voice! he cleared his throat into the mike and made his voice sound scratchy. "149 green."
"you ok 149? sounds like somethings wrong"
"just a little hoarse" the other voices resumed checking in, and he gave a relieved sigh. he put the mike down and said to strobe. "they know my voice in the control room. we almost blew it, but you didnt know." he pressed his hand against the wall, trying to make it look like he was just leaning against the wall. his expression didnt change as he began grinding his claws against the stone wall. he was trying to hide it, to keep from making strobe and crow nervous, but it was hard to hide something like this. he just kept grinding his claws into the stone over and over again.

"Let's keep moving. We're almost to the hatch. If they found out about this passage, who knows what else they know." Strobe said, runnong along the stairs and upward, readying a ball of plasma just in case.

Crow watched the two speak on the microphones, good thing there were only two guards to replace, even better that Strobe knew how to cover it up. After the small pause he followed them down the corridors, when Max rushed ahead he became a bit worried, and then he felt Max's presence fade a bit, and so he hurried up to where Max had been. He was worried about cameras, but after he spotted his unconscious friend he darted into the room and began to focus on the surrounding Ki energies, thinking that someone or thing may have attacked Max, despite the vial nearby. He brought the body onto his back and brought him out to Strobe, there was the risk of being caught by security devices or personell, but he figured they could handle it.

max, still asleep, purred lightly from crow's touch. purring is often a reflexive action, so of course it still happened when he was asleep. his tail hung below him, limp and swaying with crow's movements. his breathing was shallow but calm. nothing about him indicated there was something wrong, as it should be, for nothing was wrong. this was the finished product of the potion, and it wouldnt kill him. it would do exactly what it was meant to do. whether or not he noticed a difference when he awoke all depended on how his body reacted to the potion, for on the vial were the words 'results may vary.'

Jackie had fallen asleep late into the night. She felt the sun's rays begin to streach into the inner walls of the cave. Her eyes fluttered open as she sat up and sighed deeply. The cuts on her arms and legs were still healing from her 'spasim' a few days ago. She stood up slowly before walking out of the cave, her vacant eyes scanning the area for Kioko, who seemed to have wandered off. She shook her head slightly as she jumped up into a tree and leaned against it, closing her eyes again.

"If you want to take him back, I'll understand. He's dead weight. I've got to go forward, find out if they kept a file on me and what my history was." Strobe said as he peered through a door way to check and see if anyone was coming.
