Otaki heard soft voices he didn't recognize. In his mind, he is alone in a dark room. The voices are coming from above him, but when he looks there is nothing there.

Suddenly, Otaki's heart rate monitor started to beep frantically. He was losing the will to live. A nurse ran in and almost screamed when she heard the beeps. She called for the doctor and he came rushing in.

Rose took hold of his hand. She whispered to him. "No please, don't die. You can't." Tears started to stream down her face. Even if he had been mean to her she couldn't let him die like that.
