Xenos Mortium And lastly, a couple of Tau that I've painted up. I was inspired by a Golden Daemon winning entry which had a custom made Crisis suit, and I decided that I'd use a similar colour scheme, somewhat urban and badass looking. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Tau1.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Tau2.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/rashakiya/Warhammer/Tau3.jpg you overdid the drybrushing

It was a random post, and if I remember correctly, when that person joined they just kept thread necro-ing.Frangloman Here's my offering of randomness, a bit blue but oh well. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Edelveis/Rangers.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Edelveis/Harlequin.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Edelveis/FireWarriors.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Edelveis/Commissar.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Edelveis/Battlesuit.jpg Very nice, I like the definition of the details. Just wondering, are the Tau blue, or are they a white or gray and the blue tint of the image is just worse on them because of it. On that note, whats up with the blue, bad camera?

On that note, whats up with the blue, bad camera? Yeah my camera's getting a bit dated now and I think it might have been my dark room as well. I'll try to find a better place to take pictures next time. Anyway, the Tau are codex grey and space wolves grey with some scorpion green on lenses and markings. I'm disappointed at how the Commissar and Harlequin look in that picture, I have to say they're two of my overall favourites from both my 2000+ point armies. I'll get a better picture soon.

I have to agree with him though, it kinda blurs into one basic color. Maybe if you made the plates a little lighter and the cloth a little darker, it would have a bit more contrast, and look a lot better in my opinion.

Managed to take some marginally better pictures, just lost resolution this time, so not so clear detailing.

I really hate the desert camo they use for the codex army. Very nice color scheme, and like I said in the last post, you did a good job keeping details like the lines in between plates.

Why thank you. They're not actually my Tau, I painted them for a friend to establish his colour scheme for a fledgeling army he's started. I have Imperial Guard and Biel Tan Eldar which I use, but at the moment I'm concentrating on my Armoured Fist group. Four Russ' and a Vanquisher, with a Baneblade on preorder!
I like to paint a model from each army if I know a friend who collects them. I've done IG, SM, Tyranids, Tau, Necrons and Eldar, but I'm waiting for better models for Orks and Dark Eldar to come around.
