Rin stared at Elzam, and said, "Affermative, Captain Elzam." She followed Ray out to the docks, and said, "Are you Ok?" Monotonely, of course.

Tsugumi's eyes were slightly widened, as she watched the kid leave, "That boy... Is he one of those mechs' pilots? The Shift?"
Ray hesitated for a moment, before forcing himself to face her with a wide smile, tiny bubbles of tears dispersing, "Y-yeah! I'm alright. Since the Kurogane landed into a colony, I just can't help myself but go pay a visit. The dull void of space simply makes you homesick, you know?"

Elzam nodded, "Yes, exactly... He was, like me, exposed to violence at too young an age..." Elzam sighed, "He... is a decent pilot, due to the Neural link, but... he is still a child... he hasn't seen all the harsh realities of war...
"That is good, Ray..." Rin said, with a stare, "Do you... pilot a gundam...?"

"I see..." Tsugumi fell silent for a moment, placing her hands neatly together on the table, "About the Shift, I am afraid that it's not going to be that easily done as you have originally thought. While examining its specs, I realized that it's much more different than that of the other GUNDAMS that I have seen. The intel you gave me of the new mobile suits showed little to no extra data on the Shift than that of what I have already examined," she cleared her throat as she thought of the words she was going to say, "The Shift's supposed blueprints upon completion are almost exactly the same as what the Shift appears now, despite my discovery that it was still a prototype. Its weapons systems are as questionable as ever, so much of a weaker set than that of the other GUNDAMS that my crew and I have seen, and were obviously placed there temporarily, even though, like I said, they are part of the mech's specs. Its Diuranium armor is so thin that the machine could be easily refitted into something else supposed it gets updated for some more powerful performance. That was the very first sign that made me determine it was a prototype to begin with. But what suprised me the most..." she paussed, almost bewildered as showing through her eyes, "is the type of OS it has. It wasn't like that I have ever een. And only one word came out more and more the deeper I try to decipher it: 'newtype'. For now, I still have little data about it, but my team shall strive to progress about the matter. It contains so many secrets... I am afraid, Elzam, that I can't complete the machine in just a few days." Tsugumi closed her eyes in dismay, placing her head gently on her fingers that held together, her elbows on the table.
"A... what?" For a moment, Ray gawked at the word, before remembering the acronym that displayed on the helmet's visor when he switched the Shift on. "GUNDAM... huh..." he said softly, before giving ehr a small smile, noding, "I wouldn't really say it's mine, but... back then, I was just forced to use it. So, technically..." he began pondering hard over himself before finally saying the word, "Yes!" He shook his head and laughed at how stupid he might have looked, scratching his head in humility, "What about you? I heard you piloted some kind of special mobile suit while still very young. And considering how young you are now... er..." Truly he had a lot of questions in mind, but he felt that it might just trouble the girl he he would. She was still a child after all, or at least as it seemed to him.

"New... type...?" Elzam said, questionly, somewhat doubting himself for saying it. "I see... Well, if there's anything we can do to assist you, let me know." Elzam smiled, and continued, "Thank you, again, Tsugumi."
"...What do you mean, Ray...?" Rin said, monotonely, and staring at Ray, "My... mobile suit... is classified as the 'VF-1J Valkyrie'. It is over there..." She said, pointing to the white jet that they were taking out of the Hangane. "... You... may sit in it, if you wish."

Ryn listened calmly to Elzam and the others speak, and his eyes watched as Ray left. He was tired, and sore, but when the word "Newtype" came up, Ryn automatically recognized it. His eyes went wide, and he looked away from the others glancing at anything but the other people in the room.
"Newtype.... Thats a word I forgot I knew about...", He thought, only to hear a small voice respond,"You forget everything important about being part of the UED! The Newtypes will win the war for the UED."
He blinked, coming back into the conversation, trying to figure out what he might have missed.

Elzam looked around, just barely noticing Ryn's reaction at the word 'Newtype', "Ryn?" Elzam asked, "Do you know what that is...?"

Tsugumi shook her head, allowing her golden hair to flow about freely in the minimal artificial gravity they were experiencing. "Yes, I understand how you feel like now, Elzam," Tsugumi said, "All that I can say is... that it's at a much deeper level than the neural link that the other special UED mechs seem to have. And I thank you for the offer. All I need right now is a great amount of diranium to be shipped into the colony. All the other supplies I need are rather plentiful here. It's fun working with strange machines once in a while," she giggled and gave a playful wink to Elzam before continuing on, "The Strike Freedom's parts are being put together and the mobile suit is being remodified as requested. It will be back in 18 to 19 hours. As for the Gigan, it's being rigorously repaired, and is about 30 to 40% functional. The Bloodfin is at that level as well. We are making quick progress despite having to deal with something we haven't seen before, and are fixing the mechs' fried systems without many problems. The boys should start taking care of their mobile suits from now on, 'kay?" She gave a gentle yet at the same time intimidating and fearsome smile over to Reo, then to Ryn.
"No thanks," Ray said, backing away, "I'm heading for the colony's center for now. I am quite hungry, and I can't wait to get some of my favorite food there. What kinds of delicacies do you find delicious, Rin?"

"No... Not exactly....", He said, quietly, before looking up from his lap, right at Elzam, and saying,"I.... I think it has something to do with some sort of experiments that were once done, trying to create some sort of super human.... Other than that I'm not quite sure..."
He frowned, trying to dig deeper into the vault of fractured false memories, but failing, since he did not truly want to know. Scratching his head, he said,"If I can remember anything more about it I'll tell you..."

"I see... well, thank you, Ryn..." Elzam smiled, "And I agree, Tsugumi... they should." He grined at Reo, and continued, "Ah, at least I keep Trombe in good condition... then again, I'd never let anyone else touch him..."
"Affermative..." Rin said, and stared, "Delicacies...?" Rin stood still for a moment, "I... like anything." She said, and then followed Ray, "The... Mess Hall is that way," She then pointed to a door to their left, "20 paces to the northwest."

"Well, it's not really for the soldiers. I am talking about going to where the civilians are..." Ray smiled, trying to not offend her. She might be a soldier. Then again, she was a child. Saying too much about civilians would probably hurt her.
"Ack!" A large hand slapped on Ray's back, making him cough. As he looked back, he saw non other than Rick, a wide gullible grin on his face. "I didn't know you had a taste for girls younger than you are! Ahaha!" He glanced over to Rin, then back to Ray, and started making cute faces. Well, since he was a grown man, his face would look odd and disturbing for anyone, "Oh? So you're trying to go on a date with her, is that it? Sigh. Kids these days. Well, you're in the spring time of your youth anyway, so go on ahead!" Ge grabbed the two by the shoulder and began leading them away from the messhall and into a small cylindrical elevator. He then began talking in a formal buttler-like way, "I shall personally be your guide and lead you to the most romantic of places in town! Then again, when you two get all lovey dovey, I might as well leave and watch from far away with a camera to record all your youthful moments!"
"H-hey! Wait... Rick you don't..." Ray could barely speak, practically suffacating from all the bizarre things the man was speaking of, barely having the strength to try and break free of Rick's firm grip over his shoulder.

"You know ever sence I've seen the Gigan I got this weird feeling ever sense I saw it.It's like I've seen it before... in a photo or something.I'm not completely sure but seeing it made me think of a Deja'vu, also the machine origionaly never looked like that it was never red, it was green with a single long range cannon not a short - mid range cannon like I have we removed it and added a small sholder beam cannon, we also added treds so we could move in the desert and on the ground easly but the origional didn't have it.We also have the origional data for it at the Desert Shark, my garage, dad must have it.We could go back to desert in Africa. We moved to Africa mainly because we thought we could get good buisness there. Apperently we didn't know that we would get that thing. He sends me a letter to come by as soon as possible for something he found I don't know but he was excited about it." Said Reo
"Hrm, If you dont mind Elzam I think we might need to go to Africa to retreve that item?"Said Fiona

Elzam was silent for a moment, and said, "Well, Reo... we're a long way from the Earth, but... it might be a good idea..."
Rin was oddly silent, and stared at Rick. "You're bothering Ray..." She then turned away, saying, "Leave him alone.""No can do, Missy! As your guide, I gotta stick with ya the whole time!" Rin stared again at Rick, and said, "Now."

Ryn had temporarily zoned out, when he heard Reo say something about going to Africa. Glancing up, he raised his eyebrow and Thought,"Why would anyone want to go to Africa...."
"Some sort of information about Gundam's in Africa, I think.", the voice replied in the back of his head.
Stretching slightly, and accidentally reopening the wound in his side, he said,"Well I don't see any point in me sticking around here, and I think I'd like to see if I can help out on the Bloodfin, despite starting to bleed whenever I move to much."
He pushed himself up from his seat, and slowly began to walk out of the room, before saying,"Unless there is something you need of me?"

"Not make you feel unwanted, Ryn..." Elzam said, turning toward Ryn, "but, you can go, if you wish." Elzam smiled, and continued, "Thank you for your input, and I hope you can fix the Bloodfin."
