Mari put her hands up to guard against the attack and then ran forward towards the man to do a close range attack so he had a less of a chance to guard.
Garreth went back to the room and played with Cyan to keep his mind off of things.

smash also ran closer to him and shot more intese waves by playing as fast as he could. he stood up and was blasting waves at the both and let out a loud scream that made the earth shake.
raine went into the woods and took out her sword and started chopping down trees. she let out screams as she did so.

Mari's weapons disappeared and she put her hands over her ears from the pain of the noise.

smash stood there and closed his eyes tightly. the nosie started to get to him but then he slowly opened his eyes. he had his game face on and he screamed as loud as he could. he put all the power he had into it and out screamed him. he blew into the building again and he couldn't move. the blast knocked him out and he fell down.

Mari removed her hands from her ears and looked over at the man who was now unconscious. She was upset that she couldn't be much more of a help in the fight and let out a small sigh.
While Raine was in the forest, there was a woman with long white hair and red eyes. She had a long purple dress on and white wings. She grinned and walked up to the young girl. "Such agression for something so small." This woman was Devana. The one that was to marry Bron years ago, but Mari ruined that. Raine wouldn't know who she was or even how dangerous she could be.

he turned to her and smiled. he patted her on the shoulder then kissed her on the cheek. "thanks baby."
she turned around and pointed her sword at her. she was breathing heavily and glared at her. "who are you?"

Mari smiled and went back to her human form. "No need. What are we going to do with him?" She looked at the knocked out man and wondered.
The woman looked at the sword and didn't seem scared by it. "I'm from Angelicus. I'm searching for a woman named Mari Smash. Name is Devana. Do you know where I can find this woman?"

he nudged him a bit then picked up his guitar. "without this he won't be good for anything. let's have the cops take care of him."
she kept her sword up. she noticed the wings and knew she was telling the trust but she didn't trust her. "what do you want with her?"

Devana smiled and took a sweet tone. "I'm an old friend and Bron Ilken told me where I could find her. How do you know her, young one?" She was lying. Bron wouldn't of told her anything, but this girl wouldn't of known. Devana had many years to practice her verbal skills.

she raised an eyebrow at her and lowered her sword. she was confused. "she's my mommy. she didn't ever mention you. neither did bron."

Devana leaned down and smiled. "You're her daughter? You don't look a thing like her." She then spoke calmly. "You see... I was a fighter in the war that your mother was in when she was younger. I was captured by the enemy and I was assumed dead. I recently got released and came back to say I was fine. I'm sure they wouldn't talk about someone they thought was dead because of... Grief, I suppose."

she lowered her sword but still held it firmly. she wasn't totally sure about this. "grief huh? i dont know.." she took a step back. she didn't feel comfortable with her being so close to her.

Devana seen that she was scaring the girl and stood back up, taking a step back. She gave a smile. "Ah. Your parents taught you well. Not to talk to strangers. I can understand that." She was trying to show that she wasn't so eager to get close to the young girl and maybe that would have her trust her a bit more.

she was a smart girl and her parents raised her well. she wouldn't jump into trusting someone unless they said it was ok. "you walkin through the woods doesn't help either. "

"Got lost and was about to take to the sky, but I heard a commotion. Decided to check it out and seen a small girl making all of it. May I ask why you were so upset?" Devana leaned back against the tree and crossed her arms, clearly showing that she wouldn't come near her.
