It is hatching. It will hatch when it gets to 3.5 days remaining. Also, if your egg or hatchling is sick, there will be an extra line beneath the paragraph about dragons.
If your egg is sick it will read "The shell of this egg seems soft." and if your hatchling is sick it will have a similar line about it not moving or eating, i believe. not sure on the specifics, as my dragons never get sick... -knocks on wood-

TJ didn't announce it on the forums officially but it's there and enforcable. Check if you don't believe me. Also, go to the forums over on Dragcave. You'll find a lot of people there talking about how the parents of their dragons are killing them because they feel the owner isn't doing a good job on their own and are posting the eggs on high traffic sights. It's not a gift at all. And if you feel that this rule is unfair, go bug TJ about it and talk about it over on the forums at Dragcave. This isn't the place to have this discussion, it's over there, where the owner of Dragcave and hear everyone's opinions. My first dragon, no need to click, just getting views.

If your egg gets a hole, it is hatching. But it wont hatch before it has 3,5 days left. If your egg has soft shell or your hatchling is sick, the scroll tels you. Just click view and if they are sick you see a message at he bottom of the page.
