Hahahaha, I lied to you, they aren't really puppies and kittens. I think one of thems a snake, um this one looks like a chicken, and thats a academy student. They are still free though.

I think you do for that particular rank, mainly because B-ranks are considered high leveled assignments regardless if the shinobi is a chuunin or not. But it could be different in other places. imkotsu: I don't know about that. I mean, gennin learning A-ranked techniques? Doubt we'll be having them around for long.

Yeah...well...sometimes....assuming too much can lead to [curses] or misunderstandings.
If you go to the mission boards, they list certain missions you won't need the kage permission for and others without that special little note. At first, I wasn't even sure if people were allowed to just take certain missions and go until someone told me. Now, once again, confused.
