Well, Jesus wasn't born on Dec 25, so it makes more sense to do it in september. xd

The actual holiday in December used to be the Roman celebration, Sol Invictus, but the Church decided to steal it and use it for the Nativity instead.

I am a christian, but I am not going to complain about anything. I simply find it amusing that Christmas, a holiday meant to acknowledge the day that Christ was born, not to give each other gifts and buy expensive "Christmas" trees and lather them up in pretty lights to attract attention, has lost its true meaning in the lives of many people across the world. Yes, my family knows the difference, but we still do those things. Why? Because it has become a tradition amongst our family and in our nation. Actually, I take back the gift comment. I almost forgot that the wise men had come to the birthplace of Jesus, bearing gifts for the King of the Jews. I forgot where the tree idea came from though and where on earth did the light idea come from?

O_O Why is the scream emoticon needed? Can't we just accept that Nic made a mistake and not get in a huff about it?
This is the holiday season, after all! The time of brotherhood and fellowship and whatnot! So be nice. gonk
