[Elleon ~ Paris ~ Beauvais Manor: Study]

Elleon was just about to take back to her notes when a stream of water poured down from the ceiling. She was more curious about it than surprised--she knew she felt something there. The blonde looked on as the water materialized into a girl, her gaze appearing dull and unamused.

"How hard is it to just use the front door?" Ell whispered to herself as she set her pen aside and looked back to Ashley. She leaned back in her chair to give the girl a good look up and down, "Depends on who you ask. To what do I owe the pleasure, miss . . . ?"

[ Joe : Disney : Hanger ]

Joe slowly observed as the ball got passed around the room, taking note of each of the earthlings as they introduced themselves.

So apparently Pie Girl was actually named Noelle. Other then the whole, stupid question thing, she seemed pretty normal. The same went for Dawn.

Dani came across as just as uncomfortable with this as he was. It was nice to know that this group was not completely made up of the Zells and ice throwing lunatics of the world and had some nice, stable introverts in it.

He returned the other Joe's apologetic look. Despite what everyone else was saying, he really didn't care all that much that there was someone else in the group who shared his name. With a name like 'Joe', he was used to it. What did put him on edge a bit was the other Joe calling himself the group leader. That...would be interesting. He'd have to see how well this guy led before he made any judgements though.

If the blue mage touched him without his consent, the blue mage was loosing a hand. Moving on.

He couldn't make one judgement about Amy one way or another. This was the problem with games like this. You can have someone list off as many traits as you like, but you don't get to really know someone until you've been around them for a while. This entire thing was reeking of one of those superficial team building exercises they do at college orientations.

He was so lost in his own philosophical musings that he missed half of Kyle's introduction. Honestly, Kyle seemed alright, a bit of a goof, but he seemed perfectly willing to help Joe get accustomed, so who was he to judge?

He had to admit that Kyla impressed him. Mostly due to the cool looking drawing powers and the esper living in her hair. She also seemed to give off a much stronger sense of intelligence then everyone else so far, and he liked that.

James seemed to be a bit more mature then everyone else, other than that, he had gotten more of a read from him when James told him about the group's concerns about his summon then any of the weaoponology fluff.

'That looks like everyone.' he thought 'Now maybe we can move on from here.' Apparently, Dawn agreed with him, and proceeded to vocalize the idea. Unfortunately, last he checked, there was a slight problem. More of a speed bump now that he thought about it.

"We might have a problem there. When I first got zapped here I tried to get out and the doors are locked tight. I don't know if they wanted to keep me here until you all got here or what, but we have Keybladers with us, so hopefully that won't be a problem anymore."

[ Kyle, Sora, Riku : Disney : Hangar ]

"Aaaactually..." Sora said, having already been by the door with Riku while the others did their introductions. They didn't exactly have a part in most of it, anyway. He leaned boredly against the doorframe, his hands behind his head. "Tried that. So odds are that Yen Sid or Merlin locked this personally."

"Huh. Interesting," was all Kyle really said about that, though his brows furrowed a bit. He ended up shrugging. "Well, since we seem to have the time, might as well catch him up to what we do know, right?"

He looked to Joe--his close friend, Joe, not the new kid--for approval. "Besides, when was the last time we really pooled our knowledge together? We've been split awhile, couldn't hurt."

[Joe: Disney: Hangar]

Joe casually nodded at everyone that went after him. It wasn't bad, getting a refresher on what everyone could do, after all. Though, Kyle did point out a...rather poignant point.

"Makes the most sense, considering we have time. Plus it'd help clear up any confusion some of us may have." He was nodding, arms crossed over his chest as he left the floor open for someone with better speech skills. Of course he'd add in points here and there, but he definitely wasn't the best speaker out of everyone.

[ Amy : Disney : Hanger ]

The doors were locked–which was odd–but that shouldn't have any effect on a keyblader. If they could unlock Kingdom Hearts, Yen Sid and/or Merlin's magic shouldn't be able to stop them from opening a hanger door. But then, there were points in the games where you couldn't pass until you had completed the level, or defeated all the Heartless in a room, etc. To pass this level it appeared they needed to wait for someone to come get them.

Amy had no knowledge to add to the pool, and wasn't about to mention how she had stayed on the Red Rose for the most recent action, so she remained silent.

[ Joe : Disney : Hanger ]

"Well damn, scratch that then." Joe said, crossing his arms and shrugging "Whatever is going on out there, they must really want us to be in the dark about it."

"I'm all for getting up to speed on what you all have been up to though, so I guess it's not all bad."

He paused briefly to collect his thoughts "Here's what I know: You all have been running around this amalgam universe saving people and worlds from the darkness. Meanwhile, Merlin, Yen Sid, and the rest of the bearded old elders club have been trying to find out what happened to Earth. I'm completely clueless on anything else that's been going on."

[Dawn : Disney : Hanger]

Dawn's eyebrow raised at the fact that they were locked in, "Well that sure is peachy. Why would they ask us to come here and be locked up?"

She shivered slightly at the thought. After the memories of being locked up on the Flying Dutchman. She wasn't too happy with the idea. Though this is in the hands of allies. It felt off though she knew she was somewhere safe.

Stepping away from the group, as Joe and Kyle worked to bring Joe Jr up to speed, Dawn got a better look at where exactly they were. It seemed like a warehouse of sorts. The roof could open to let them in previously. Though like most warehouses she has seen, they had to have some way of ventilation to let air in, or the air would feel more heavy and less fresh than it was here.

"I wonder if there is a window," Dawn thought out loud as she scanned the area,"Could use it as an exit. Or at the very least, look to see what is out there."

Without saying anything else she used her wind to High Jump, grabbing one of the higher support beams and climbed up on it in a sitting position. Sure enough she did see a small fan that was letting air in. However, it was protected by a screen and bolted on.

[ Kyle, Sora, Riku : Disney : Hangar ]

"Well, alrighty!" Kyle said, cracking his knuckles for no apparent reason before crossing his arms across his chest. "Storytime."

"If you're like us, you woke up about... lessee, I think today makes seven days since Earth fell. A lot of us woke up scattered--I, personally, found myself in Agrabah, a number woke up here, some on Hawaii, et cetera. The world merger happened about a month before we arrived, or so we've been told."

"As you might expect, that's a bit of an issue, since the worlds are meant to be separate. Villains hopping worlds to get an advantage, just to name the primary concern," he continued, leaning on one leg. "So King Mickey tasked those that woke up here with speaking to and gathering wise, knowledgeable entities to help understand what happened, and like you said, potentially figure out what happened to Earth--apparently, before our arrival, no one had ever even heard of it. To date and in order, we've gathered Agrabah's Genie--more on the "knowledgeable" scale than wise, I think we'd all agree--, Aslan of Narnia, the Enchantress of Beast's Domain, King Triton of Atlantica, King... long name of Atlantis, and--hopefully--Calypso of the Caribbean."

"It was around Beast's Domain--which had been forcefully merged with Halloween Town--that we got word from Disney, via Leon and company, that they had lost contact with Mickey," he explained. "He was last sighted in the Land of Dragons talking to the Emperor, who would only speak with a Keyblade wielder... Riku can take over from here, I think?"

He nodded, walking up into the circle. "It was a trap, set by Jafar no less, but it helped us figure out what was going on. While we were gathering knowledge, Mickey was gathering defenses. He'd gone to various worlds, speaking to their leaders in an attempt to unite one and all against the growing threats of the Darkness. We managed to get through to the Chinese Emperor after breaking through Jafar's hypnosis, and from there we were sent to Hawaii. Apparently, Hawaii had merged with a world known as 'Angel Grove', with a team of teenage 'Power Rangers'."

"Mickey had spoken to both the leader of the Rangers, Zordon, and the leader of the Alien Council protecting Hawaii, the Grand Councilwoman. The volcano in the island had been fused with the world Treasure Planet, and as a result it was wanted by some slimeball named Ivan Ooze and the Ivalician Empire--which were about to invade when we arrived," Riku continued. "We managed to push them back with the help of some reinforcements that Mickey had called in shortly before all contact with him had been lost--some Ivalician resistance, the Al Bhed, and the airship fleet of Lindblum. Afterward, they evacuated the island--here, presumably. We still don't know where Mickey is."

"And then we helped Calypso, Triton, and Atlantis earlier this morning," Kyle came back. "Which covers the basics of what's been going on. But there are some important side notes."

"First, as you can see behind us--" he said, tilting his head back toward the relaxing canons. "--the Organization Nobodies seem to have revived. The Organization itself, though, has been disbanded, for all intents and purposes. We've seen those three--Axel, Demyx, and Lexaeus, willing to help--as well as Luxord, Xaldin, Larxene, Vexen, Saix, Xemnas, and... Zexion. The last of which was with us for awhile before he was brainwashed into betraying us last night."

His tone had seemed dry and to the point--attempting to distance himself from it emotionally. However, this is where Riku stepped in, clearing his throat.

"Actually, Lexaeus and I received some news about that last night. There just... wasn't a good time to bring it up before the battle," he said, holding out a memory sphere, which still held Zexion's recorded message. "It's a message from Zexion. We can play it when we're done, but one thing he mentions is that Xehanort is back--completely. His Heartless and Nobody have re-fused together."

"Lovely," Kyle said, and though he'd been surprised by the news, he didn't blame Riku for withholding it until now. He'd been anything but stable as recently as a few hours ago. Of course, maybe it was the ever-calming effect of the Cornerstone that kept him so cool. "Yen Sid will undoubtedly want to know that."

"Another thing. We have some pure-dark replicas roaming around," he went on to explain. "Courtesy of Vexen and Seymour Guado, long story short. If the theory holds, they're made when a specific type of Geist--I'll explain that in a sec--phase through us and copy all our darkest memories. So if that ever happens, well, be prepared, and let us know, preferably."

"Geists themselves seem to be a new type of entity. We have an allied one--Prote, wherever he might be. They're heavily based on memories. Noelle can probably give you a more detailed description, since she's spent a lot of time talking to him," he said, nodding toward the blonde. "But one thing's for certain--do whatever you can to avoid their touch. Those special ones might simply copy our memories, but most of them simply drain them entirely. You might forget the past twenty minutes, or you might forget the past twenty years. They're weak to the cold, and empowered by heat, so keep that tidbit handy."

"There also seem to be an increased number of... um, Final Fantasy villains," he said--even though they were within earshot, he figured the canons wouldn't actually know what that meant. "Seymour, as I mentioned. Kuja as well. Noelle has personally had a run in with Ultimecia. Sephiroth's still around. Vayne Solidor is in control of Ivalice, explaining the invasion..."

"Last, but most certainly not least--our primary enemies," he said, eyes furrowing as he remembered the arrogant replica's final moments. "If a... questionable source is to be believed, then at the top of the food chain, there are seven Fiends of Heart. Their goal is supposedly the unraveling of all existence. Besides title and goal, we don't actually know anything else about them, but we can safely wager a few guesses. First--seven "Fiends of Heart"? Conveniently opposed to the seven Princesses of Heart--so I'd be willing to wager their hearts are also of pure darkness. We don't know who they are, but..."

He shrugged. "If you include Xehanort and the FF villains, that's suspiciously close to seven. Not enough to call a concrete theory, though."

"Furthermore, if the ravings, and subsequent possession, of a mad servant are to be believed, even they listen to higher ups--she called them "gods". Whatever it was, they were, it was certainly... dark. Darker than anything we've faced or seen," he said, remembering the fight. "Strangest of all, it knew of Earth. Knew we were 'Earth's final living shards', and implied it was responsible for the destruction of our world."

"So, all things considered," he summed up, with a shrug. "Our enemy seems to be a gathering of dark gods bent on the erasure of reality. No pressure."

"Eh, you kicked that ugly face's butt easy enough," Sora said from the doorway, grinning, ever optimistic.

Kyle rolled his eyes, though he did chuckle somewhat. "Anyway, I think that covers the general information. Plenty of personal things to add, I'm sure. Did I miss anything major, before we digress into more personal affairs?"

[ Joe : Disney : Hanger ]

'Well, I asked for it' Joe thought as he parsed over the information that Kyle and Riku had given him.

"Seven days...yeah, that sounds about right."
It about matched up with his timeline, only replace "magical Disney adventure" with "fight hellspawn in wilderness with no human contact."

"So to sum up, you all have been spending the past week or so trying to gather resources to fight the power of seemingly every villain in existence, find King Mickey, and find out what happened to our home world, with most of the leads turning up dead. In the process, you've come into conflict with heartless, nobodies, evil clones of yourselves, memory-stealing phantasms, revived versions of virtually every villain the dynamic duo over there have taken care of in the past, Final Fantasy villains, and whoever these nihilistic 'dark gods and fiends' are. That sound right?"

He paused for a moment before continuing. "Alright, right off the top of my head, I've got two questions. First, who was it exactly who told you about those 'seven fiends and dark gods'? Whoever they were, you don't sound like you trusted them to much. Secondly, you seriously ran into the Power Rangers? I figured there would be a cap on the insanity here."

[ Kyle, Sora, Riku : Disney : Hangar ]

"That's about it," he responded. Kyle paused for a moment, though, when he asked their source of information. His arms remained crossed as he seemed to roll his tongue in his mouth in contemplation.

"That would be my replica, who calls... called himself Ajora," he said simply, noting the look from Riku but doing nothing to acknowledge it. However, the power ranger question lightened things up a bit. "And yeah, that was a weird world, honestly. As long as we were on the island, any time we summoned our weapons, boom we were Rangers too. Aaand our summons became Zords. Really, it was just as campy as you'd imagine."

[ Joe : Disney : Hanger ]

'Oh thank god I missed out on that' Joe thought as he fought hard to suppress a chuckle. He didn't like to judge, but that world sounded silly.

"That's...quite something. Did you strike any poses while in costume?"

"Oh, and you said 'called', does that mean he's dead?
" Joe quickly added, before Kyle could try and move away from the subject.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 20, 2013 10:28 pm

"Potentially," Kyle said, a simple shrug following. "I'll go into more detail, but only if we're done with the major stuff. Anyone?"

[ Noelle ~ Red Rose ~ Hangar ]

Noelle lazily lifted a hand when Kyle mentioned her knowledge of the Geists, glancing around for Prote. It would probably do them well to explain him as well as the potential situation they had on their hands. She noticed the ghostly figure still standing on the exit ramp, just observing. He could honestly be content to sit the forever if they stood around and talked long enough, so she motioned for him to come closer. When Kyle asked for any other pressing matters, Noelle looked over and raised her hand a bit.

"Well, since you mentioned Geists, we might as well discuss a few things." She stated, nodding to Prote as he joined her by her side. "Prote and I talked for a while back on one of the ships and I got some back story. The Geists were envisioned and created by a fae named Kallista. Their purpose was originally just to be a manifestation of memory, a quote-unquote Poultergeist. Possibly an experiment in reviving the dead. It was after Kallista actually started constructing the beings that she realized their potential."

"Originally there were eight prototypes, the first simply being a learn-all type, and the remaining harboring a specific skill set. Here's where it gets tricky. Prote here, his title obviously just 'prototype' shortened, is technically Prototype IX. Of the eight, one prototype malfunctioned so terribly that it had to be destroyed, but its skill set was apparently too vital not to recreate and try again. This was all information Prote gleaned from conversations he had in secret with other prototypes, so it wasn't info they could speak about openly without repercussion. The thing is, Prote has never been sure what his specific skill set is, and as far as he can tell he has been programmed to be unable to access it for some reason--this is obviously relevant to the secrecy that surrounds his creation and end purpose.

"So, each of the other prototypes in the end either became too unstable to be an asset to Kallista, or developed and absorbed enough memory to begin acting of their own volition in a way that Kallista didn't favor, and so she destroyed them. Except for Prototype I. That Prototype was crafted and reared a lot more carefully than the others, aside from Prote himself. Despite Kallista's efforts, however, Prote's sentience strayed from her dark modelling. Prote left her service, much to her dismay, and was pursued by Prototype I for quite some time before he suddenly stopped."

Noelle looked around a bit, trying to get a read on the others' faces. It was a lot to take in, but it was all necessary information. "Now, the point in all this is, Prototype I is a highly developed Geist--there is no other like it--and Prote, despite being one of the originally existing Geists, pales in comparison. And the worst part is, Prototype I is still out and about and who knows if he's actually still pursuing Prote or not."

"I suppose I should have not become involved with you all." Prote said as if trying to be apologetic.

Noelle glanced to him and shrugged, "If it weren't for you, we still might be completely unaware of how Geists function, so I'd say we're square. Plus, this inaccessible ability of yours might be more relevant than any of us know.

[Joe: Disney: Hangar]

The male seemed to just nod along with Kyle's spiel. Nothing he had to add to that, to the point that he was completely fine being quiet.

Geists then became the subject, and Joe couldn't help...fidgeting was the only thing to call it. He kept shifting his weight from foot to foot, his fingers tapping against his armor or arms or legs as his arms couldn't seem to decide where they were comfortable.

He let out a small sigh. He was still hung up about geists. Not that he didn't have a reason, considering what they could do. But it still wasn't exactly something he was proud of, considering how much he was favored towards battles over diplomacy.

{James : Disney : Hangar}

James also remained silent for the time as Kyle(boy that guy could talk) explained what all had happened to them since their group started seven days ago. The quest that Mickey had tasked them with to find and gather the wise ones, and the worlds that they had traveled to thus far. James remembered that clearly that he had come in right as the group was getting ready to leave Agrabah, reaching them on the train's maiden trip no less.

When the explanation fell to the events of the worlds they had just left he focused his attention more, hoping to fill in a few of the gaps that Anthony and Noelle may have missed during their explanations in the past. He chuckled at Joe's response regarding the whole power rangers thing as well as Kyle's response and frankly, the corsair found himself glad that he hadn't been a part of that. Though he imagined that Fenrir might have become something akin to a Command Wolf mech, which he had to admit would probably have looked pretty cool.

He then turned his attention to Noelle as she explained some things that she had learned about the geists from their resident geist, Prote. She clarified on their creation and about the other prototypes, revealing the possibility of another enemy who might be pursing Prote.

"I've got a bit of information to share as well. People aboard the Dutchman may remember when my replica, Kuro Oni came in and brought along with him a person that he claimed was my brother right before Ajora placed his seal on me," reflexively, the corsair's hand raised up to his chest, gently touching the burn scar in the shape of the seal on his chest. "Anyway, when I broke free of Ajora's control during the battle on the ship I fought both Kuro Oni and my brother. As we fought, right before Kuja defeated him my brother transformed into a lycanthrope that had this emblem on his chest, sorry Joe if this freaks you out, but I'm going to be sending a mental image via the charms," he stated, explaining to Joe since he was the only one who hadn't experienced this function yet.

He then quickly focused on the charm around his wrist and then thought about the entire group that was there that had a charm and sent them the mental image of his sketch of the emblem he had seen.

"Now, I'm not familiar with this kind of emblem, having only seen it on the monster that my replica claimed to be my brother, so I do not have a name for them. Nor do I know how they were given a human form. However, it is safe to say that he was not my brother. I do not know if any of the other replicas have created these creatures. However, it is a safe bet that Kuro Oni won't be the only replica to think of using them against us in this way. Any family member, or anyone that we may have a close connection to for that matter that we meet, could be one of them. Especially if they are acting differently than they normally would. All the more proof that we must be cautious. We do not know the limitations of the forms these monsters could be given is."

[ Kyle, Sora, Riku : Disney : Hangar ]

Kyle nodded as Noelle and Prote spoke. They had two more names to their cautionary list. Prototype I and Kallista. Before he could say something to the two, James spoke up, bringing up the topic of the other new breed of creature they'd run into.

"Hey, the jellyfish things in Atlantica had that same crest," Sora said, tilting his head sideways a bit as they all received the image.

"As did the snakes Azrael had in Hawaii," Riku put in, looking at the ground in thought.

"As did those Archaeo and Ultima demons Ajora and his possessor summoned," Kyle said. Though he didn't receive the image because he'd taken his charm off, the moment Sora mentioned the jellyfish, he knew exactly what emblem they were talking about.

"If they're the same breed of creature, then most of replicas have access to them, I'd wager," he continued, thinking back to Ajora's words. "He said the Ultima Demons were "bound" to his "heart and mind". And I'd even say that's how Ajora was in multiple places at once--he'd used them as shapeshifting doppelgangers. Sounds like a hivemind sort of thing."

"We'll want to bring that up to Yen Sid, as well. Same with Kallista and Prototype I," he said, turning to Noelle and Prote. "Yen Sid has some experience with dark fairies, after all, and he might know something we don't. I know you can't feel, Prote, but don't let it gnaw your thoughts, either--we'd much rather have you with us than not. Without you, we'd still be one short. Besides, you're not the only one with a target on your back."

"Before we get into smaller details and personal matters," he said, looking around--not just at Joe, but at everyone. "Are there any other points? Or questions, even? I'm sure some of this stuff is new to a few of you."
