Recess, you say?
*plays on the merry-go-round and swings while cranking up some Judas Priest on her iPod*
Reminds me of 7th grade. The teachers would sometimes cut the class early, and we'd all go to the playground. mrgreen

Well, I had to have something to make up for going uphill both ways. In the snow. xd
But then again, iPods weren't invented yet. ._. In fact, I don't think CDs existed yet at the time, either. My friends and I smuggled walkmen into school, and jammed out on Motley Crue and stuff like that.

Cale Darksun "The future of technology, or at least what people won't shut up about, is wireless. You know, things like walkmans, flashlights, and solar calculators." God, that seemed so long ago. X.o I mean, I remember when they made a big deal about Texas Instruments being able to show more than one line of math equations.

Anyone remember what a rotary phone looked like? Or the big battle between VHS and BETA? Or the old TV sets with one dial for VHF and the other for UHF before they had coaxial cable connecters build it.

back home, we collect those things.
I read once on this article about the top twenty things people really missed, one was a good rotary telephone. no buttons, no touch tone crap, just a simple phone that makes you look elegant.
It'll be one of those things that only the rich own though. in the immortal words, "We'll make electricity so cheap only the rich will afford to burn candles".
