The list of non-anime AMV's goes on and on, and on. I've seen quite a few Final Fantasy VII Advent Children videos labeled as AMVs... Yeah, video game AMVs are the worst. Well since Advent Children is a movie, and it's animate, it can technically be called an AMV.

And Anime is short for Animated. We can go a step further and say "It's Japanese animation.", but Advent Children still technically falls under that category.
