I believe Seal Strength determines damage cap for Genjutsu...
Also, can I only pick from the Pre-Made jutsu thread, as far as Normal Jutsus go? One would think there would be a more vast selection.

Seal Str is the cap for dam, but you said you wanted to know about doing stuff that doesn't revolve around dam, so we ignored it.
As for the Pre-mades, yes you can. And one would be wrong when we would want to promote more stealing, teaching, and sharing of jutsus. Hence, other people's customs are your normals.

Right. I was just making sure I was right on the count about Seal Strength.
So wait a second. Being taught someone else's custom jutsu fills a Normal Jutsu slot for you? IE, someone has a level 20 custom they attained at level 60 intelligence, that counts as a level 20 Normal Jutsu slot?
I'm not sure I fully understand that one. Forgive the newness starting to shine through.

Starting... Hm... No. It would not count as a level 20 Normal. It just counts as a Normal Jutsu Slot. You can learn any level, Normals are unlocked at every 10 Intelligence increment, but outside of that there is no limit on what you can learn.
But yes, you would be able to learn someone else Lvl Whatever Custom Jutsu unlocked at Lvl Whatever Intelligence.

yeah = w= i always pick up dead air palm as one of my first few normal jutsu and it is a level 40... no mind you since the level determines the chakra expenditure it's kind of a costly tech early on but XD;; it's an example.

Yes, you could. But you'd need someone to teach it to you, as you would obviously not be intelligent enough to copy/steal it at lvl 10. Perhaps, First Post, in the intro. There are no existing requirements or limitations on what lvl jutsu you wish to learn. @Zav- TT~TT I never got to use that tech, and now I never will risk using it xD

@Zav- Yea, and it's so costly too. Could effectively drain a person of all their fatigue.

if the other shinobi have the normal slots to learn said jutsu then that is an affirmative =w =
@sai- yeah I remember D:< but i'll get full benifit out of it by the time i need to use it! note my two custom jutsu that buff win/tai accuracy and damage = w=b it's gonna be wicked worth it to hit someone with it nao.
