Veterans Day is to show respect for all those who went to war, and particularly to celebrate the armistice that ended the end of World War 2. Memorial day is to show respect for all those Americans who died serving their country at war. It originates in the years after the end of the Civil War. I figured it out after the conversation. ^^; Kinda embarrased for us, that we didn't know the difference.. A lot of people don't know the difference though... the only reasons I do is because I was Sgt-at-arms as well as Senior Councilor for my DeMolay chapter as well as the son of a Vietnam vet heavily involved in parades and the VAF.

It's 5:30 now, and no sign of them yet. neutral Maybe she's not going to show it after all. Or else they're going to be annoyingly late. I want to cook dinner, but I didn't want to have people come in while I'm sitting down to eat. This sucks. I hate having strangers invade my apartment enough without all the extra troubles that come with it.

Lecu I just wanted to stop by ( again ) and say hi to you guys and let you know some stuffs.
I moved out of my dad's house a few weeks ago and I'm currently staying at my grandparent's house. Which means that I am lacking a whole lot of alone and online time. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep coming around here on Gaia and such once I do get some time, since..I'm just not into it all as much as I use to be. Too many things are changing around me and so it's just kinda making me feel 'blah' towards everything I use to love.
Pretty much all of my time is being focused on school and trying to remain sane and not in a kill myself mood. sweatdrop
My dad is getting married a week from tomorrow, and there's still a lot of s**t going on between the two of us. Then after my mom visiting for a week or so it makes it a bit more difficult. Kinda of..on one side of a very, very large trench with my parents on the other side. Just not pleased with either of them. Especially with my dad after the whole 'let's bribe Aki to make her come to the wedding' thing that went on. So..I probably won't be around for a looooooong time and such, and there's not a whole lot of ways that you can get hold of me since I never get online.
Hell, I only check my mail once or twice a week now, so it's no point in trying to email me. sweatdrop
If anybody wants my school email address or phone number to leave a message, just let me know on AIM and such. I hope you guys know that I do miss the lot of you and it makes me sad that I'm moving so far apart from everyone.
I'll be around for a little while now, since I have nothing else to do tonight and nobody is home. So..I'm around for an hour or more for tonight then after that, I probably won't be around for a long time. D:
