Rose and her Sylveon came running to catch up with the others and soon did "Hey guys, sorry I am late, got caught up with exploring Castelia and wasn't paying attention to my TADS." she explained "What's up?"

Caleb was already prepared for the sand. He had already learned his lesson. The sandstorm took him a little by surprise though. Marshtomp hid behind Caleb so that he'd be somewhat shielded from the sand. Caleb just focused on Jake as he walked. He definitely didn't want to get lost in the desert.

Rei turned to the straggler.
"Just heading to the interior of those old ruins in the Desert Resort," Rei said to Rose, helping her navigate through the desert. After he was certain Rose would be ok, he made his way to the rear of the group, making sure nobody got too separated in the sandstorm. Eventually, he noticed the sands were forming a peculiar set of dunes. Curious.
Rei tapped Jeff on the shoulder and pointed to the north, then made his way above the towering dunes. Sure enough, a short, stubby block of sandstone peeked over the surrounding sand. After looking around for a short while, Rei found the entrance to the Relic Castle. Kicking a crafty Trapinch out of his way, the Aquan made his way back to the group and gestured them to follow him to the entrance. The sandstorm was at its peak, and all words would be carried away by the winds, so Rei didn't bother trying to yell over the noise.

Unable to shout over the storm, Jake gives Rei a thumbs up. He leads everyone into the ruins to dust off. It was somehow bright inside but Jake didn't pay any mind.
"So. These ruins are pretty old." He looks around a bit. "They're sort of a tourist trap... But I'm pretty sure there's something deeper in here."
He scratches his chin.
"And with Team Aqua's luckiness or curse, not sure which one it is yet, I'm sure we'll stumble upon something... Hopefully." There's a glimmer in his eyes as he turns away from the group.
"Oh also there's reports of Plasma grunts in the area so this could also count towards taking territory."
And with that he begins walking towards a doorway, ready to answer any questions as they walked along.

Rei grinned. Exploring desert ruins while punting Team Plasma across the halls? It was looking to be a good trip. His Zubat finally poked her head out from Rei's hood and flew out, immediately making herself useful by scanning the area.
"I wonder where all this light is coming from," Rei muttered.

Upon hearing the words Team Plasma. Michael smiled and pounded one fist into the palm of his hand. "Well then what are we waitin' for lets go take us some Team Plasma territory and maybe kick some Team Plasma a**."

"I'm all for making team Plasma pay" Rose agreed "Those guys are horrible. And any territory we take from them becomes safer for people and Pokemon."

Caleb just carefully followed Jake until they were safely inside the ruins. He and Marshtomp quickly dusted each other off. Caleb took off his bandana before shaking out his hair. He was silent as the others talked, glancing around a bit himself.
When Jake mentioned Plasma, Caleb's eyes lit up. He still wanted to return the favor for how they left Coumarine. Marshtomp looked uneasy as Caleb clenched his fists.
When Rei asked about the light, Caleb gestured upwards. Talking about ruins seemed to calm him down a bit. "Since these are ruins...most likely from cracks in the ceiling."

"No need to get so excited guys,I never said Plasma was here."
He chuckles a bit. Everyone was so eager for revenge... He couldn't wait until they stormed Plasma.
"Hey Jimmy, did ya see that?" A voice ahead echoes down the hall. They turn and stare down a long hall. At the end, two Plasma grunts are staring down at a pool of quicksand.
"Yeah Billy, that kid jus' jumped down this here hole."
The two look at each other before jumping into the quicksand.
"Well that takes care of them..." Jake scratched his head as he approaches the quick sand. "But it's strange. I always thought the ruins were bigger than this."

Caleb spun around when he heard the voices down the hall. Seeing the Team Plasma uniforms alone made his blood boil.
"I'm going to enjoy this...." he hissed. Without a moment of hesitation, Caleb set his backpack down. He rushed forward before jumping into the quicksand.
Marshtomp stood there blinking a bit. Then realizing what happened, he literally face palmed before grabbing Caleb's backpack and putting it on. He carefully moved towards the pool of sand, standing there as he listened for sound below. Then with a shrug, he jumped as well. Geronimo!

Rei blinked. There was no way people just dropped into quicksand so quickly and confidently. He looked to his Zubat, and she nodded. There was definitely something underneath. Rei walked closer to the spot of "quicksand." Upon further examination, he saw a tiny opening at the center.
"Could it be... an entrance?" he said, puzzled. He turned to inform the group and saw Caleb charging headfirst into the sand pit. Rei leapt out of the way just in time to avoid the Marshtomp trailing close behind.

Michael was standing near the quick sand wondering why there was this much but felt a cold wind pass as he saw Caleb jump in. Michael decided to step back but bumped into Marshtomp and fell forward...into the quicksand."

Rei turned to the two remaining Aquans.
"Shall we?" With that, he jumped in after the rest, putting his faith in his Zubat's information and a bit of luck. It was a most peculiar feeling; the sand acted almost like water, sliding him effortlessly onto the bottom floor. He landed with a soft whump.
"Huh. That was less painful than I thought," Rei started, before hearing distinct mumbling underneath.

Jake couldn't help but wonder what it was like to be the first person to discover the quicksand way of traveling as he hopped down as well. He does a flip in the air and lands on his feet a meter over from the rest of the group.
"Looks like those Plasma goons aren't here any more."
As soon as Jake's mouth finished moving screams echo towards them.
"Someone help! These guys are trying to steal my Pokemon!"
"Looks like those guys might've been meeting more team members here. C'mon!"
[Run on ahead and battle one grunt with 3 Pokemon of your chosen strength]
