... and it was with an almighty steely 'clang' Kas's bat met the Bludger, and sent it spinning towards the Badger's leader as he was driving on Slytherin's goals.

Csuri was after the snitch. It was floating pretty idly and she knew she could get there. Of course, her honing in focus on that caused her to lose focus on other areas. Unfortunately for her, one of those was the Beaters. Her team was solid with defense, so it wasn't too huge of a worry..... until she looked up in time to see one very nearly upon her. Csuri ducked her head out of the way just in time for the ball to slam hard into her shoulder. She cried out in pain, though she tried to quash the noise. The damage was done now, but the game was far from over. With a shaky breath, Csuri pushed off on the chase for the snitch, which had taken off as well. Hopefully she could end the game before she got hurt further... or the blood trickled the rest of the way down her sweater.

Vikram usually had a lot of time to watch the game from the goals, but this game he had to be on the ready pretty quickly. Bieito was making another run on his goals after all. Vikram heard someone who sounded like Csuri cry out but he didn't have time to look and see. Bieito was at the goals and taking a shot so Vikram had to block.

Persephone allowed her mouth to tick into a smile as she noticed the bludger hitting into Csuri. It was a good hit and gave her hope to try again. She zipped around to the other side of the pitch and took her bat, hitting the other bludger with all her strength once again back towards Csuri.

Hesperia cursed loudly when Bieito got past her again to shoot at the goals. She watched angrily, then released a sigh when Vikram caught it. If he'd scored after she'd failed to defend, she would have been even angrier. When Vikram passed to her, Hesperia tucked the ball against herself and headed off for the Hufflepuff goals.

Okay. She was in pain, but she could do this. Blinking tears back, Csuri leaned against her right side, gritting her teeth as she flew toward the snitch. She didn't know how Charlotte was doing, but she wanted to finish this fast. Just in time, she noticed another bludger, though this one she was narrowly able to avoid. Unfortunately, she did so by using her very messed up shoulder. Great. More pain, but at least she still had eyes on the snitch.
