[Galestar raised his head inside his den, brooding still.
It's obvious some apprentices deserve to be made into warriors, he thought silently. Most certainly Pepperpaw. The kits are still too young to be apprentices, but they are approachng the right age. Only a few more moons left...
He shook his head, a sad sigh escaping his body.
...but I cannot just lay back and pretend nothing is wrong. Embergaze is in the talons of the eagles, and it's most likely they will kill him...what should I do?
He sat there, a sad look in his eyes. Pain etched into his face and the question repeated in his mind.
What should I do?] _____________________________...and melt in the w i n d ?

 [Valorkit's blue gaze shifted, as she heard the familiar tone of Birdkit's. Valorkit's fur perked up with a bit of annoyance, but decided to ignored it. She gaze Birdkit a fake smile, showing her innocence.] "Me and brother are going to listen to Siegekit's story..is there something wrong, Birdkit?" Valorkit asked, in her gentle tone.

When life knocks you down FIREKIT _______ "Back to being ignored again."[Firekit snorted and jumped off of Shadow.]"I'll talk to you later father. I want to go do something interesting."[He held his head high and padded around, making his chest hurt way more than before.]"Someone should take a look at whats wrong with my chest. Oh wait, they wouldn't because I'm just a failure kit that didn't kill the eagle."[The calico kit walked into the warriors den, and started looking around, watching the random warriors sleep and talk.]"Back to the old me again.. Ignored and misunderstood."[He muttered, so no one else could hear him.] Just get back up when it knocks you down

Who will love me for what I really am?
[My calico fur bristled as I stared a Valorkit. I gave her a smile just as fake and stood up, my tail lashing angrily]
"I'll see you later, Shadekit," I meowed, purposely ignoring Valorkit.
[Turning away, I stuck my chin out defiantly and promptly stalked out of the nursery, a small bit embarrassed of how I had acted. Once out of the view of the nursery, I sat down in the place that Shadekit had said would be his resting place until the two brothers made up. I gave a small grin and curled up in the spot, enjoying the scent of the tom that lingered in the air. It started snowing, small flakes of it landing on my pelt. I was frozen, but determined to stay out there until Shadekit, or someone other than Valorkit, came out to get me]

[Serpentfang sat coiled up in the warrior's den, peved to think that her leader had so little faith in her. This clan ment everything to her since the very day she had stumbled upon it. She would be willing to lay her life down for it in a heart beat. Thoughts of rushing out of the clan on her own to search for Embergaze flashed through her head.] Glaestar says Serpentfang is out most of the time anyway, what difference dose it make, mmmrr. [Her train of thought and frustration was brought to a halt when she heard Ravenpaw's kind and consernd voice call to her from the cave entrance. She looked up at her beloved apprentice and smiled, pleased to know that she was safe after the fight with Talon's flock. She smiled, peace returning to her composure once again.]
"Serpentfang is fine now, thank you Ravenpaw. Serpentfang is just concerned about her old mentor Galestar. She is glad to see you are safe, she was worried that one of the eagles would..." [Serpentfang stopped to think for a moment.] is this how Galestar feels when he said he was afraid for Serpentfang? [She looked down at her paws, her mind wondering once again.]
No wonder he wants her to say in camp so badly, Serpentfang understands now... [Her emerald eyes looked up to rest on Ravenpaw, understanding her old mentor's fear of losing a beloved apprentice.] "Thank you Ravenpaw, you were all Serpentfang needed. Everything is clear now." [She smiled sweetly at the young, black cat before her.]

[Galestar sat in his den, flopped on his side with his paws covering his eyes. ...was I too harsh to her? he wondered.
No, she was getting out of hand.
Yeah, but she probably just figured she was helping to guard the Clan.
Despite the fact Bluemoon almost always came back hurt?
...yeah...
Seems like she has more loyalty to that former BloodClan cat than to BreezeClan.
Don't think that way! Serpentfang has never done anything to hurt the Clan. She's got a loyalty that runs deeper than most cats. She's probably running after Bluemoon or something to help her...
Since when did Bluemoon represent all of BreezeClan? Serpentfang knows where her duties lie. Besides, Willowstar did the same thing when I snuck out of camp to practice flying-said I shouldn't abandon my Clan so much, that I needed to stay in camp.
She didn't understand how much easier it'd be for BreezeClan once they had a flying cat on their side-imagine how many battles we'd win because I could see everything on the battlefield!
Nonetheless, it's the same concept. She thinks that guarding the camp's borders is the best way to protect the Clan, but she fails to realize that if the Clan is attacked directly (especially by eaagleees, helloooo!), her being gone only makes her an easy target and leaves BreezeClan with one less warrior to defend the others.
Well...I don't know. That may be true, but she has good intentions.
The path to the Dark Forest is paved with good intentions.
--! It's not like she's going to turn into an insane maniac or something!
No, but good intentions have nothing to do with the quality of the outcome.
...that's true. But what should I say?
If I really am planning on meeting up with Harpy, then I should apologize and let her know why I'm fretting so much. That way she won't feel confused and agonized if I don't come home...

Aside from the whole Clan thing, I know that wrenching pang in my belly when I realize she's missing, don't I? It's a terrible thing to think she's dead, and it's scares me more than anything. That's what she needs to know. Really, not any of that Clan business...she already understands that.
Galestar nodded to himself and stood, his inward monologue finished. He padded out of his den and into the apprentice's den, his eyes downcast.]
"Serpentfang," he said softly, not caring if Ravenpaw was there (because she needed to hear it to, really), "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. It's just that when you leave camp, I don't know if you're safe and I become worried. You see? I really don't think you're not loyal to BreezeClan-in fact, you're one of the most loyal and brave cats among our ranks, like Pebbleheart or Snowcherry...the like. It's just, I can't handle the thought of you getting hurt. I can't handle the thought of any BreezeClan warrior getting hurt, really! I want you to be safe, and you are more than exposed in the borders...do you understand what I'm trying to say?"
[His crystal eyes blinked at her worriedly, hoping she'd understand.]
"I really am sorry for how I've been acting, it's just...I've been under a lot of...pressure. And seeing Saltpaw die really..."
[He trailed off, pain cutting off his voice. He simply sat there, embarrassed and worried, his tail twitching with anxiety.]

[Serpentfang smiled lovingly at her beloved apprentice.] Yes, that must be how he feels, Serpentfang should go apologize for worrying him so. [Before she could uncoil herself Galestar walked into the warriors den.] "Galestar! Serpentfang is glad to see you! She wants to apologize for yelling earlier, she never meant to worry you... Ravenpaw has taught me how you are feeling." [Her ears perked up as she listened to her leader's words. She smiled sweetly at her old mentor, admiring his kindness.] "Serpentfang understands now. She will spend more of her time guarding the camp from withing it's borders instead of wandering astray. Serpentfang should have been more open to your problems and worries. She will worry you no longer. She will now think of herself as well as all the others." [She purred and rubbed her face against his side happily.] "Thank you for understanding Serpentfang. You truly are a great leader."

I taught her? how in the name of Starclan did I do that? she wondered.
"Eh, Serpentfang? How'd I teach you?" she asked politely.
Ravenpaw looked at them, almost like a father and daughter... And,
suddenly feeling awkward, she quickly padded out of the warriors den.
Ravenpaw looked around for something to do now. She saw the deputy and
padded to her. "Pebbleheart? how's Seigekit?".
The young black apprentice had risked her life for the kit,
she should at least know he was okay.]

[Shadow felt his fur bristle with surprise, as he turned around to look at Firekit. He chuckled lightly in amusement, as he slowly got his son off his fur. Letting out playful growls, Shadow batted at Firekit's head lightly, not wanting to harm him.] "Your sneak attack was impressive, Firekit. Let's see if you can dodge my paw attack.." Shadow challened, as he used his massive paw to tap at Firekit lightly once more.  ▬||Shadekit||▬ ════════════════════════ *[Shadekit's gaze softened, as he watched the she-kit he loved exit the nursery. He kept his gentle gaze locked with Valorkit's, as he gave a small grin.] "Valorkit, I understand Birdkit was a bit harsh, but maybe you should end this all by apologizing..." Shadekit suggested. [Valorkit had a shocked look in her eyes, feeling her chest puff out with anger. However she wasn't the type of kit to keep grudges on others. Valorkit was going to regret it, but nodded silently.]
[Shadekit smiled at her sister, giving her a swift lick on the head.] "That's the Valorkit I know..." Shadekit purred. [He then switched his gaze to Siegekit's.] "C'mon mouse brain, let's go to Birdkit and listen to your eagle story there." Shadekit suggested, as both him and Valorkit left the nursery. [Shadekit was finally glad to feel the breeze go through his fur, the battle being over lifted many weights from his muscles. He then spotted Birdkit, giving her that loving smile he gives to no one else. Sitting next to her, his bright green gaze locked with hers.] "I think you need to hear this.." [Pebbleheart then turned around to gaze at the apprentice, Ravenpaw. She smiled delightfully down at her.] "Hello Ravenpaw. Siegekit is fine, no injuries were spotted. However i'd like to take this time to thank you for your bravery in sacrafising your life for my son...I truely don't know how to thank you.." Pebbleheart thanked, with a pleased tone. "In fact...it seems like you should be becoming a warrior very soon...Serpentfang seem to have taught you everything a warrior needs to know...maybe even more." Pebbleheart suggested, in an impressed tone. [She then stopped herself and faced back at Spadestripe, feeling a bit ashamed for interrupting the discussion between the two queens.] "I apologize, Spadestripe." Pebbleheart apologize. "But if you wish, I would be glad to bring others to your kit's burial, including myself." Pebbleheart requested, waiting for the queen's answer patiently.* `•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´ ...It is the small pebble

she told herself as she looked around to find something to do.
She didn't want to interupt Serpentfang and Galestar, Pebbleheart and Spadestripe were talking...
Ravenpaw poked her head into the nursery. "Do any of you
kitties want to play with me?" she asked sweetly.]

[Galestar blinked surprised at Serpentfang, then felt relief wash over him.
Told you she'd understand...]
"I'm happy, then," he said softly. "Thank you, Serpentfang. I have to go back, now, to my den. I need all the rest I can get, you know?"'
[He smiled nonchalantly at her.]
"...goodbye," he added suddenly.
[He stared at her for a few moments, then turned around suddenly and walked briskly away.
This may be the last time I ever see her. Or anyone, for that matter.
His eyes hardened.
Pebbleheart will take care of the Clan for me. I hate to do this to her, but I'm not going to let anything happen to the rest of them. Talon wants me? Well, he'll get me. But not without a plan...
Galestar walked into his den, narrowing his eyes. He had dug a hole under the wall of his den. He squeezed under it, barely slipping past the branches and roots. The birds guarding BreezeClan did not notice. Most of them were checking the cats. He slipped out using the area where the warriors made dirt ((is that what it was called? I can't remember. ^^; )) He padded into the moors, muttering to himself about how he smelled now that he passed through the spot.
His walk evolved into a gallop as he sped away from the Clan towards the border.]

When life knocks you down FIREKIT _______ ((@Hundred: Actually, my friend was with me at the time and I was like, "What what papa Shadow does :3" Then five minutes later no post so she got irritated and told me to make him go run off. If any of your know who babybunny33 was then THAT'S who told me to.))[Firekit looked up at his father and smiled.]"Why thank you, father. I'll practice for the eagles and kill that one that attacked me!"[Firekit watched his father swing his big paw towards him. He jumped up into the air before it even touched him, and landed hard on his paws. His chest was beginning to hurt from the fight with Hook, but he ignored it and hugged his fathers paw.]"I don't need a best friend. I got you."[Firekit then slipped under Shadow and raked his paw across his fathers stomach with sheathed claws.] Just get back up when it knocks you down

((lol no Comet. XD She is just in the warrior den because Serpentfang was there and she wished to cheer her up. Also all she knows how to do is sneak cuz thats all she has had the chance to train her. sweatdrop ))
