Matt started to open doors with his right hand. It didn't hurt, for he'd found that he had no feelings in that hand since the gun shots. He said, "Hurry Amy!" He held open the door while still holding the girl.

Amy rushed past the door and found an open passageway for an exit.
"This is the quickest way out!" she said, eyes stinging from the hazy smoke surrounding the once mighty castle.
"Violet....your brother's not here...he's outside of the castle right now....I'm pretty sure he's safe, so you've got nothing to worry about."

Matt followed Amy. He kept hushing the girl, keeping her calm. He followed Amy's footsteps to "see" where she was going.

((SO sorry for the delay. I've been having an eventful summer. XD ))
Jack’s eyes widened and his folded hands tightened. I-Impossible . . . The Jack of Diamonds knew exactly how Nobody was, a cunning boy who knew how to wrap his opponents around his finger. Despite this, Jack had a feeling that what the White King had mentioned had to be true.
”Nobody,” Jack whispered, keeping his widened eyes on the White King, ”Certainly . . . you don’t mean . . . the Red Queen’s tarts?”
”F-F*** you . . .” Victor hissed, glaring at the Ace of Diamonds. ”Don’t . . . don’t you dare . . .” He moved his heavy head as far away as his weak body would allow. His stomach churned at the thought of another bullet being forced into his body. The room smelt more and more of his blood, causing his head to spin. His glasses had slid down the bridge of his nose, impairing is vision. His loss of blood had caused him to become more lightheaded, like he was going to pass out any minute. The Ace of Hearts pressed his eyes shut and turned his face from the Ace of Diamonds.
”Just . . . just get it over with.”

((gosh, you and zack almost make me crazy, which reminds me, if he doesn't post soon I'll have to do something about that...))
The pistol was pointed at the Ace of Heart's hand "I'll take that as a yes" Said the Ace of diamonds as he started to pull the trigger gently, he had missed twice in a row purposely, but he was not about to allow his victim to escape just like that, not after having gone through so much trouble just to capture him, the loud banging noise of the bullet leaving his pistol and entering the Ace of hearts Flesh once more was intoxicating, so much he went as far as pushing his gun inside the whole, severing the Ace of Hearts hand even more, expecting new screams to resurface on the room that was growing to quiet for his taste.
"Now, that's more like it" Said the Ace of Diamonds before licking the tip of his revolver lazily, enjoying the coppery taste of the Ace of hearts blood mixed with the powder and steel of his revolver "Let's keep going" He said spinning the charger yet once more and placing his next bullet on the Ace of Heart's arm, the Diamond closed his eyes and smiled at the sound of the flesh being penetrated by the bullet yet again, he left out a cruel laugh and smirked at the Ace of hearts "Luck seems to have run out, though there is always a chance i might miss the next one" he said mockingly, fully aware such a thing was nearly imposible.
Marice returned not too long after "you'll need to put this on" she said Handing the queen a white bodice with laces and a pair of white tigths that tied to the bodice through fasteners, the bodice was quiet elaborate, the middle part resembling a corsage and the the bottom and top had an intricate design of the four suit done in needle work, everything in a snowy white color "come here" She said smiling as she lead Maria to the changing room "I'll be having you tried many dresses so you need to wear something proper underneath" She said resting her back against the dressing room door as she waited outside for the queen to get ready.
Nobody smirked, he hadn't expected for the Jack of hearts to believe on him so easily, sure, he was telling the truth but he would have through a lot more of confinement would be needed, yet the Jack's eyes betrayed his seemingly disbeliving words "Well, i did say it all started with the Knave of hearts after all" Nobody said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"One of the most valuable things in the world, surely it wouldn't be easy to sell, not even on parts as he tried first" he said calmly, it was like telling a tale he had been told "Not only the price was excessive but the danger as well, who would want to be raid by the suits and be found of the possession of a part of the tarts?"

Maria easilly understood what she was to do, since the advisors and Patches(oddly enough) nagged her often to wear proper underclothes. She only did so without complaint, foul mood, or hesitation because Marcie had asked her to and Maria considered Marcie to be her friend. After what felt like forever to Maria she left the room, wearing what Marcie had given her. "Did I put it on right?"

Amy finally found the exit that will lead them out of the castle and stepped outside to safety. "Thank you, Matt...We couldn't have done this without you."

Matt nodded. "I know..." he said. He gave the girl to Amy. "I have to check on Ashle..." he said. He then ran back to the tree. Ashle was still sorting out children. He could make out her figure through all of heartbeats. He smiled, and walked over to her. He took her in his arms and kissed her.

Jack picked up the tray of food and began walking towards a table in the back.He set the tray down and took a seat,just picking up the cup of water and taking a sip.
Alex stayed silent for a moment,shrugging her shoulders."I guess I'll go."

Ten sat across from Jack, feeling somehow awkward since she had no clue as to what to say in order to start a conversation. It showed by the look on her face - a most amusing pout.
