Umbreon is a good choice. Or a Normal-type, since they'd resist STAB'ed Shadow Ball.
(No help on the threat of Tbolt, Eball, or Sbomb though).

That is pretty much my competitive team...
I put on Sudwoodo (lvl 20) and Magnemite (lvl 16) for back-up but my team is fail due to Japanese.

Pidgeotto or Quilava look like your best bets. At least they have moves that don't get resisted either by Ghost immunities or Levitate. Butterfree is also an option, especially with a Powder. Just be sure you're using the RIGHT powder, since poison... well, you know.
Rant: Why are the Sinnoh Frontier Brains in Johto? I wanted to see Loreli or Agatha make a comeback.

I've been abusing the Powders all this game. It's been amazing. Compound Eye is AMAZING. And I figured out that I had a quick claw, so that's helped a ton. Here goes nothing. Morty, you're going down.
