All of them will eventually evolve into the same thing. If you absolutely want all the poses 'now', then you get the earlier gens. If you are patient and don't mind waiting a few weeks for the older gens to complete their cycles, get the later gens since they're cheaper. Personally I would go with the later gens.

I always buy later gens or buy slightly earlier gens at like stage 2 or 3 before they get awesome and dont jump in price.

They actually evolve by every 2 weeks. But yes, they evolve like normal.
Gen 4 may fully evolve in a week or two. Gen 13 would fully evolve in 18+ weeks.

XD Getting the earlier ones are easier. Getting two early ones is nice since you can wait a little the resell it.

They aren't deflating. In fact, I think the 13th gens are rising. They're nearly 300k now. They used to be under 250k this morning, I think. Someone probably went in and bought a whole bunch. They may stabilize and go back to 250k.
