"Do you have sharpies around?" He asked wanting to make it a art piece and take away some of the pink. Besides it would be fun to do while Maki slept.

"Thank you." He took the sharpie from her. He was glad they'd be able to leave when he woke up, but for now he would draw on the cast. He went to the edge closest to his elbow and wrote in very curvy handwriting, 'I love you' around it, putting small hearts in between each phrase. Then he started to draw random things like squiggles and dots. Just covering most of the cast in nonsense things.

When Nate was finishing Maki Woke up "hmmm..." he pulled Nate to him tightly and kissed his neck "were are we?" he asked softly

He smiled, "Still in the hospital babe. But we can go home now. Your cast has been on for a while now. Hope you like it. I had a bit of fun while you were asleep." He smiled down at him.

"you're driving" he said softly and rubbed his eyes with his uncased hand before sitting up carefully "how long was I asleep?" he stretched a little before sliding off of the gurney

"Okay... um a few hours I think. Lost track of time actually." He said stretching and getting off the gurney himself before giving him a kiss on the cheek.

He smiled into the kiss before kissing Maki back. "I thought I'd make up for the color by drawing. And I love you too." He kissed him again, "Lets go home."
