Kane_Blueriver It's going to be cool because I have never been on a plane before. You'll love it. Only thing that weirded me out was looking out the window at the tops of clouds. I got really cold looking at it because it looks so much like snow. eek

The prettiest thing about plane fights, and one of the top prettiest things I have ever seen, is flying low over a big city at night before landing. You're low enough to the ground you can see the windshields on cars, but you can still look to the horizons and see skrillions of patterns of orangey lights. It is just so awesome. 4laugh heart heart

I've never had the chance to fly at night... what I love is taking off. Listening to the engines throttling up, feeling the nose point up and being leaned back into your seat... ah, it's wonderful. smile

Everything, everything about looking out plane windows stinks when you have a wing-seat. gonk LCLpuddle I've never had the chance to fly at night... what I love is taking off. Listening to the engines throttling up, feeling the nose point up and being leaned back into your seat... ah, it's wonderful. smile Taking off is great, isn't it? I only took off when it was dark out once. It was like.. 4 in the morning. It was amazing.. seeing the lights of the other planes zipping down the runaway and eventually disappearing behind clouds.. taking off and watching the lit-up ground shrink.. Airplanes are much prettier than the rest of the forms of transportation. I do love subways though~ but airplanes also have SkyMALL.

My brain doesn't do metaphors that well. The one thing I would absolutely LOVE to see out of an airplane window - just ONCE I'd want to see it and I'd be happy - is someone standing on the ground, pointing up at the plane. That would just rock.

Lecu Jeez. I've been watching this show all day. So much American Dragon: Jake Long. gonk I would like it a lot more if it wasn't the most stereotype-supportive show I've ever ******** seen in my life. I still think it's a decent show, though.

Have you ever closed your eyes during takeoff? It's cool.

What's weird about landing is that after however many hours, you're used to the engine drone, so when they throttle down is almost seems like they've just shut them off... I've never tried shutting my eyes, though. I don't get to fly much, really.
