MISSION- Race to the Crystal
There was a rare crystal discovered at the summit of a 'sacred' mountain! This crystal contains the 'raw' mineral power we need for special research! Your mission is to climb the mountain and get the crystal before anyone else does! (you will fight Admins of Team Dragon, Team Chaos, Team Blank, Team Sky and Team Earth! (Grass and Ground types!) Do not have the teams allied! You must fight each team Individually!

Hunter, get in the computer room at once!

“Great. Why is it always me?” I trudged out of my room and through the halls until I came to the computer room. “What is it this time?” I asked. The computer technician replied, “We have detected a huge power spike at the top of this mountain.” I looked at the map. “That’s pretty far away.” “Yes, and we have reason to believe that we aren’t the only ones that have detected this. If we want to recover whatever it is that is creating this power spike, then you’ll have to hurry.”

I rushed out of the room and headed down to the hangar, where I hopped in my Mini Kyogre Jet and took off. “Set a course for Turimbi Mountain.” I told the computer. I watched the screen as it made the calculations and went onto autopilot. ‘Estimated time to destination: 3 hours.’ “Well, I can take a little nap. Computer, wake me up when there’s 15 minutes left.” I dozed off in the cockpit.

‘Beepbeepbeep! 15 minutes to destination.’ I opened my eyes and saw Turimbi Mountain looming ahead in the distance. “Computer, can you confirm the presence of unfriendlies?” ‘Scanning… Presence of unfriendlies confirmed.’ “How many are there?” ‘Five unfriendlies confirmed. All five are at least 50 miles away.’ “Well then, I’m going to have to hurry if I want to get in and get out.”

‘2 minutes to destination. Scanning for safe landing spot… Landing spot found. Setting course to land… Extending landing gear… Landing in 10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1… Down.’

I hopped out of the jet and looked up to see how far it would take me to reach the top. From what I could see, it would take me around half an hour to reach the level where I would presumably discover what had created the power spike. Luckily, the slope wasn’t too steep, and where it did get steep, there were handholds. After a half hour, I came to a large ledge, where I found a cave.

“Come on out Charizard. I could use some light here.” Charizard popped out of his Pokeball and turned up his flame as we entered the dark cave. The walls were covered in gems, but I was more interested at what lied at the end of the path.

Soon I began to hear a faint rushing sound. As I continued on, it got louder, and when I reached the end of the path, I saw a dark lake with a waterfall crashing into it. In the middle of the lake was a bright light, which I suspected to be the source of the power spike. I ran down the stairs carved out of the rock wall that went straight down to the lake and dove in. The water was warm. When I came to the crystal, I found that it was emitting the heat, but was cool to the touch. It was small enough that I could grab it in one hand, and I took it back to the surface. As I made my way back to the cave, I ran into a person dressed in red, the leader of Team Dragon.

“You!”

“Yes. Me. I told you we would meet again, and this time it’s you that has something I want.”

“I’ll never give it to you!”

“Very well then. Seadra, go!” The Pokemon appeared in front of me, blocking my escape. “Seadra!”

“Raichu, go get him!” Raichu appeared and whipped his tail around, eager to battle. “Raichu, hit Seadra with a Thunderbolt!” Raichu’s cheeks flashed and lightening lanced from his body, striking Seadra, dealing a great amount of damage and sending Seadra crashing into the wall. “Seadra, use Hydro Pump!” Raichu attempted to dodge, but took most of the attack. “Raichu, Shock Wave.” A ball of electrical energy formed above Raichu. “Raaaaaaaaaaaaichu!” It exploded and sent bolts of energy flying at Seadra, KOing it.

Next he sent out Gyarados. “Raichu, Thunderpunch!” Raichu drew back it’s fist, crackling with electricity, and punched Gyarados with double super-effectiveness. “Gyarados, Twister!” Gyarados whipped up a vicious whirlwind, which picked up Raichu, spun him around, and threw him against the wall. “Raichu, Thunderbolt him.” Lightening zapped Gyarados, and it was finished.

“Go, Salamence, use Dragonbreath!” Salamence emitted a green haze from its open mouth, and Raichu covered his nose to weaken the stench. “Oh man, what has that thing been eating? Raichu, hit it with Thunder Wave.” Raichu zapped Salamence, paralyzing it. “Crush Raichu with Crunch!” Salamence flexed its jaws and bit Raichu hard (- Sp. Def.). “Raichu, use Thunder!” Lightening burst from Raichu’s body and shot at Salamence, who took the attack dead on. “Salamence, Flamethrower!” A jet of fire shot from Salamence’s mouth, scorching Raichu (Raichu burned). “Raichu, Mega Punch!” Raichu raced at Salamence and landed a perfect punch right in the gut. Salamence’s eyes went wide and then closed as it dropped to the ground. Raichu fell to the ground, KOed as well because of the burn.

I knew which Pokemon he would choose next. It was the same Dragonite I had battled before. “Go Sneasel. Start off with Icy Wind.” A chilly breeze arose and blew cold air at Dragonite, who began to numb (- Speed). “Dragonite, Dragon Claw” Dragonite swept its large claws and slashed Sneasel. “Use Screech!” Sneasel emitted a high-pitched wail and Dragonite covered its ears in an attempt to block out the noise (-2 Def.). “Dragonite, Hyper Beam!” Dragonite built up an orb of energy and fired, but the shot went wide because of Screech. “Sneasel, Slash him.” Sneasel took a large swipe at Dragonite and connected hard (CRITICAL HIT). “Oh no, he’s going to defeat me again… Dragonite, Dragon Rage!” Dragonite spit fire at Sneasel, and Sneasel took the attack. “Sneasel, finish it with Ice Beam.” Sneasel fired a beam of ice, at Dragonite, who was frozen, and the battle was over.

“Blast! I’ll beat you one day. This isn’t the last you’ve seen of me!” The leader of Team Dragon ran back through the cave, but then another person ran in. “Hehe, what a wuss he is. I’ll show you how a real person battles.” This person was dressed in purple, the leader of Team Chaos. “Now, hand over the crystal and you won’t get hurt.” Now that was funny. “Hurt me? You couldn’t hurt a fly. Dragon boy was just a warm up act. Now I’m ready to take on anyone. Come on Sneasel, we can take him.”

“I hope you’re not afraid of ghosts, ‘cause that’s what you’ll have to deal with. Go Haunter.” “Sneasel, teach him a lesson. Faint Attack!” Sneasel disappeared. “Hey, only ghosts are supposed to do that!” Sneasel reappeared right behind Haunter. “Oh man…” BAM! Sneasel nailed Haunter hard (CRITICAL HIT). “We can play dirty too. Haunter, Shadow Punch.” A fist came out of nowhere and hit Sneasel right in the jaw. “Sneasel, use Blizzard.” A chilly wind picked up and shards of ice began to fly around. They cut at Haunter, who cowered to protect himself from the oncoming ice, and it soon stopped. “Haunter, Night Shade.” The room became dark and Sneasel was hit by an unseen force. “Aerial Ace!” Sneasel speed at Haunter and rammed it before it had a chance to do anything, and Haunter was KOed.

Now he sent out Umbreon, and I decided to give Sneasel a short rest and sent out Machoke to give me the upper hand. “Umbreon, Quick Attack!” Umbreon sped at Machoke and slammed into him. “Machoke, Seismic Toss!” Machoke picked up Umbreon and slammed it into the ground. “Faint Attack.” Umbreon disappeared just like Sneasel had, and hit Machoke from behind. “Machoke, Karate Chop!” Machoke swiped at Umbreon with his hand (CRITICAL HIT). “Umbreon, Psychic!” Umbreon’s eyes glowed purple and a purple aura appeared around Machoke, who was instantly thrown into a wall. “Machoke, Vital Throw!” After he landed Machoke grabbed Umbreon and threw it against a wall, and it was KOed.

Next he sent out Gengar, and so I sent Sneasel out again and had him use Faint Attack. “Gengar, turn around.” Gengar turned, expecting to see Sneasel waiting there, but Sneasel appeared behind Gengar and nailed it, sending it into a wall. “Gengar, Curse.” Gengar pulled a nail out of nowhere, and jammed it into his foot and yelped in pain. “I hate repeating attacks, but Sneasel, Faint Attack.” This time Sneasel appeared below Gengar and connected again. “Gengar, Destiny Bond.” Gengar’s and Sneasel’s souls were bound together. (Sneasel damaged by Curse). “Sneasel, Ice Beam!” The beam hit Gengar, and it fainted, but Sneasel was taken right along with it due to Destiny Bond’s effect.

He sent out Houndoom, so I decided to counter with Trapinch. “Trapinch, Earthquake!” The ground shook as Trapinch executed the attack, and rocks flew from the ground and ceiling and bashed Houndoom. “Houndoom, Flamethrower.” Houndoom shook itself and spit fire at Trapinch. “Dig!” Trapinch dug into the ground, and all Houndoom could do was wait for Trapinch to resurface. Trapinch burst out from under Houndoom and hit it in the gut. Houndoom recovered quickly and crushed Trapinch with Crunch. “Trapinch, Bite!” Trapinch closed its jaws on Houndoom and Houndoom flinched. “Trapinch, Earthquake again!” This time Houndoom was KOed, and the battle was over.

There was an ominous roar, and the leader of Team Chaos fled back into the cave. I looked around for the source of the sound, but I saw nothing. I now noticed that I could see my breath, and that it was beginning to get cold. I shivered, and as I turned around I saw yet another person blocking my way out, this time dressed in white, the leader of Team Blank.

“Oh man, not another one…”

“That’s right. Now you get to battle me. Go Chansey.” I returned Trapinch, who needed a rest after his battle, and sent out Machoke instead to give me a type advantage. “Machoke, start it off with Karate Chop!” Machoke swung his hand at Chansey and slammed it into the wall. “Chansey, Double Slap.” Chansey recovered and slapped Machoke continually. “Machoke, Cross Chop!” Machoke stepped back, crossed his arms, and charged at Chansey (CRITICAL HIT). Chansey was KOed.

He sent out a Clefable next, and I started with Revenge. Machoke shoulder-charged Clefable and drove it into the wall. “Clefable, Metronome!” Clefable wiggled its fingers a few times and then took off at Machoke with Extremespeed. Machoke was drilled into the wall this time. “Machoke, Revenge again!” Machoke swung its fist at Clefable and hit it even harder than the first time. “Clefable, Meteor Mash!” Clefable swung its own small fist with great strength into Machoke. One more hit with Revenge KOed Clefable.

Clefable was returned and an Exploud took its place. “Exploud, Stomp!” Exploud leaped into the air and landed feet first on top of Machoke. “Vital Throw!” Machoke grabbed Exploud and threw it into the wall. “Hyper Voice.” Exploud emitted loud sound waves and Machoke covered his ears, but took damage. “Machoke, Seismic Toss!” Machoke grabbed Exploud again, but this time leaped into the air and slammed it into the ground. Exploud slowly got up. “Exploud, Hyper Beam!” Exploud fired a beam of pure energy at Machoke, who took the attack at point-blank range (CRITICAL HIT), and was KOed.

I decided that Trapinch would be able to finish the battle, and it was ended quickly with an Earthquake attack. The leader of Team Blank trudged back into the cave, defeated. I took the time to revive Raichu with a Max Revive, and when I looked up there was yet another person, this time dressed in orange, the leader of Team Sky.

“Come on. Can’t you guys just leave me alone? You’re starting to drive me crazy.”

“We have a knack for that.”

“It’s about time you guys learn that you shouldn’t mess with Team Aqua.”

“Well, when you’ve been softened up by the other teams, there’s a much better chance of defeating you. Now then. Shall we begin?”

“I suppose.”

“Good. Go Fearow.” The bird Pokemon came out of its Pokeball and circled a few times before stopping in front of its trainer. I called Raichu forward and the battle was under way. “Raichu, Thunderbolt.” Lightening leapt from Raichu’s body and struck Fearow. “Fearow, Fury Attack.” Fearow jabbed at Raichu with its beak. “Raichu, Zap Cannon.” Raichu hit Fearow from close range as it was still attacking with its beak (Fearow paralyzed). “Fearow, Mirror Move!” Fearow copied Zap Cannon, but Raichu was able to jump out of harm’s way. “Now Raichu, finish it with Thunder.” Lightening bolts exploded from Raichu’s body and zapped Fearow, KOing it.

Next was Pidgeot. “Pidgeot, use Sand-Attack.” Pidgeot whipped up dirt from the ground which hindered Raichu’s vision. “I’ve got a way around that. Raichu, Shock Wave!” Shock Wave never missed, and Pidgeot took the attack unexpectedly (CRITICAL HIT). “Pidgeot, Quick Attack.” Pidgeot built up speed and rammed into Raichu, who got up quickly. “Hit it with Thunder!” The attack missed, and Pidgeot came around and hit Raichu again, but this time I was ready. “Raichu, try Thunder again.” This time Pidgeot was close, and missing wasn’t possible. Pidgeot was KOed.

“Go Skarmory.” The armor bird Pokemon landed in front of its trainer. “Raichu, Charge.” Raichu began to build up electrical energy. “Skarmory, Steel Wing.” Skarmory flew at Raichu, wings glowing, and slashed at Raichu. “Raichu, Thunder!” Raichu released that built up energy and struck Skarmory with a powerful Thunder (Skarmory paralyzed). “Skarmory, Swift.” Skarmory shot stars out of its mouth, which cut at Raichu. “Raichu, finish him with Thunderbolt!” Skarmory was KOed as it was struck by lightening bolts from Raichu.

“I don’t get you Aqua people. Do you ever do anything but train your Pokemon?”

“Oh, you’d be surprised…”

As the leader of Team Sky left, I noticed that I was shivering much harder than I was before. “What is going on?” I looked around and I saw that most of the lake had frozen. “What the?” The water had been warm before, and now it was frozen. It didn’t make sense.

“Well well well. I get do deal with you now.”

I turned around and saw a person dressed in green and brown, the leader of Team Earth. “You had better be the last one…”

“Oh I am.” He looked around. “I thought it was supposed to be warm in here. Oh well. Go Golem.” The giant boulder Pokemon appeared, and so I sent out Croconaw. “Croconaw, let’s start off with Water Gun.” Croconaw spewed a jet of water at Golem. “Golem, Rock Blast.” Golem began hurling rocks at Croconaw, some of which Croconaw was able to shoot away, but most hit their mark. “Hydro Pump!” Croconaw released a torrent of water from his mouth, which struck Golem and smashed it into the wall, which was saying something because Golem is heavy. “This is not the way I had envisioned this battle going, but then again I should have expected a water Pokemon. Golem, Explosion!” Golem glowed bright for a moment, and then exploded. After the smoke cleared I saw both Pokemon KOed.

“You cheapo.” He sent out Steelix, so I sent out Trapinch. “Trapinch, Earthquake.” The whole chamber shook and Steelix was jostled around. “Steelix, Crunch!” Steelix reached down and picked at Trapinch in its mouth and bit down hard. “Trapinch, Rock Tomb!” Rocks fell from the ceiling and buried Steelix, who broke free and hit Trapinch with Iron Tail. Another Earthquake took out Steelix.

Now he sent out Venusaur, who had a great advantage over my Trapinch. Venusaur quickly took care of Trapinch with a Solar Beam after being hit with a Crunch.

“Go Charizard.” It was now the classic starter battle, but I had the upper hand with Charizard. “Charizard, Flamethrower.” Intense flames leapt from Charizard’s mouth and scorched Venusaur. “Venusaur, Leech Seed.” Venusaur fired small seeds which embedded themselves into Charizard, slowly sapping his energy. “Charizard, Fire Blast.” Venusaur cowered as the flames bathed its body in intense heat, but it was not finished. “Venusaur, Frenzy Plant!” Vines lashed out at Charizard, striking him all over. The leader of Team Earth could see that he was going to lose, or else he wouldn’t have used such a powerful attack so soon. Now I decided to elevate to the final level of fire attacks. “Charizard, Blast Burn!” Charizard emanated heat and spit fire at its hottest, and this time Venusaur was finished.

“Well, I’m finally done.” I watched him run back into the cave, and followed shortly after I returned Charizard. When I reached the end, I found that the entranced was sealed by ice. I sent out Charizard and had him use Flamethrower on it, but nothing happened. “What?!?” Suddenly my pocket began to glow, and I took out the crystal, which began to speak. “You have released the mighty Glalie of Turimbi Mountain. Unless it is captured, everything will be frozen for miles around the mountain, creating much suffering and death.” The light went out, I put the crystal back in my pocket, and went back through the cave to the large chamber.

Back in the chamber I saw Glalie, firing beams of ice all over. It noticed me and glared. “So, you are the one that woke me up. You will pay dearly for your actions. Prepare to battle me and my might!” I sent Raichu out, and the battle began.

“Raichu, Shock Wave.” The electrical attack struck Glalie, but it barely flinched, and it retaliated with an Ice Beam. The attack hit Raichu’s foot, and he was frozen to the floor. Now I decided it would be a good time to paralyze Glalie, because I wouldn’t have another chance. “Raichu, Thunder Wave!” Sparks leaped from Raichu to Glalie, and Glalie was paralyzed. “Argh!” Now shards of ice flew around the chamber as Glalie used blizzard, and they cut at Raichu as he tried to pry himself free. “Raichu, Thunder!” Lightening bolts cut through the ice and zapped Glalie, but now Glalie hit back with Sheer Cold, and Raichu was KOed instantly.

“Raichu, return. Charizard, go get him. Fire Blast!” Just as Charizard appeared, he opened his mouth and let the flames fly. Glalie now showed signs of taking damage and winced in pain (Glalie burned). Glalie let an Ice Beam fly at Charizard, but the attack missed badly. “Charizard, I think just a small Flamethrower will do it.” Charizard nodded, and a weak version of his powerful Flamethrower hit Glalie. “Ultra Ball, go!” The ball hit Glalie, he was enveloped in red light, and was sucked into the ball. It shook a few times, and went “Ding!”

“Awesome, I caught a Glalie, and saved this region at the same time.” This time when I went back to the cave entrance, the ice had cleared and I made my way back to the jet, which had graffiti written all over it by the team leaders I had defeated.

“Team Aqua people are poopieheads.” Yeah, well, you get the idea, so there’s no need to say the rest, but I had the jet wash itself (oh I love that feature), and I headed back to HQ.

Mission: COMPLETE!

Me: Well, there you go Brian. Gave each admin 1 more Pokemon each
*sits on poofy couch*

Me: I'll grade and then set up the RP.
*Goes at it with a red pen*

Me: Oh nos! Not the eval red pen!
*cowers in fear*

Me: Just me and you now, I guess.
*sips Coke*
Me: Brian left without a sound.

You didn't get the hidden message in there. Admins are NOT peons (or leaders for that matter). They are actually smart. They are not going to waste 3-4 Pokémon to just take down one. They are not going to lose to a Trapinch. They know their type charts, they know how to battle. And frankly the way you have battles set up, one after another, almost seems like they are allied. This is a Level 4 mission, I'm interested in reading how well you can write a mission, not how well you can god-mod. I know you can write a good mission, because there are many good elements to this one. But I can't ignore you over powering yourself.

*gets up*
Me: Finally. That's over, now can we RP?
*sips Coke*

Me: Sweet, RP time!
*slurps rest of Coke and throws the can away*
Me: Hopefully we get to take down Magma.
