[ Sweetleaf stiffened, instinctively dropping to the soft lining of the den. She watched Reedwhisker leave, her wide eyes flicking between Dicefoot and the den entrance. The screeching terrified her, she had no idea what it was.
The small warrior shuddered, crawling on her belly to the entrance, peeking out slightly. She recoiled at the sight of birds - huge birds - taking flight. Sweetleaf panted softly, her ears flat against her head, fear causing her muscles to stiffen, her legs refusing to work, claws refusing to show.
She'd fought cats of all sizes, even swatted off a few dogs, but birds? Birds were supposed to be prey, small, brown things that refused to let her sleep late into the day. They were not supposed to be huge, frightening things, bigger than the biggest cat she'd ever seen, things that could kill cats! And what were they doing in their camp?
And the kits. There had been kits outside!
Sweetleaf's eyes widened in fear greater than for herself, her fur standing on-edge. Her claws suddenly found their way out, digging into the soft den lining to thrust herself forward, jumping out of the warrior's den. She skidded to a halt behind Reedwhisker, looking around wildly. ]
"A-Are they gone? Is everyone okay?" [ Her head whipped from side to side, a white blur, streaked with her Amber eyes. ] "Where are the kits?" [ She hushed, looking around Reedwhisker to stare at the scene before her. ]

(( It would be of good measure to link you directly to the thread. Summaries BreezeClan's summary is in there. I've linked you to the recent page. In short: Talon and his flock of eagles are battling against Avalon's. Avalon is Galestar's adoptive mother. She raised him as a kit, but he was taken in by the Clans. He still delusionally believes he can fly. Talon split Avalon's flock in two because she rejected his love and his hate grew so much. His flock believes he is trying to get them back to Avalon's glory canyon, while his true objective is merely to obliterate Avalon. In regards to our Guild's general storyline, the evil Star Slayers offered to aid Talon in killing Avalon in return for his tormenting and/or killing BreezeClan and Galestar. So far, Siegekit has nearly been killed but was saved by Ravenpaw, who bravely offered her life in place of his. However, she was saved in turn by one of Avalon's flock members, Titan. Hook tormented some cats but another of A's flock, Twigg, distracted him long enough to keep him busy. Splint and Blade tried attacking Galestar, but Avalon engaged in battle with Splint and Galestar + his old apprentice, Serpentfang, attacked Blade. Talon stepped in and tried to convince Galestar to speak with him, but Avalon intervened and refused to allow the meeting. Talon submitted, but warned that they had taken Embergaze, a BreezeClan warrior, prisoner and he would die if there was no meeting. Galestar is planning on sneaking out to talk with Talon. Talon's flock is leaving by his command. Echo, another of A's flock members, is planning a rouge rescue of Embergaze. She is teh same bird who saved Spadestripe and her kits from kidnap a few days ago. That should be sufficient information. o^o ))
Interesting, to say the least.

[Before Avalon could respond, Galestar whipped around.]
"I know what you're thinking, Serpentfang," he hissed, "but I've had enough of it! You are not leaving this Clan! Both you and Embergaze's incessant need to be away from your clanmates is beyond me, but this would have never happened if we had stayed close together! I do not want you leaving this Clan! You are putting yourself as well as the rest of us in danger if they get a second captive! Don't think they'll trade you for him-they have what they need. They'd just kill you or take you in yourself!"
[Galestar's icey blue eyes were narrowed.]
"Do you hear me, Serpentfang? You are to stay here! The LAST. Thing I WANT. Is for SOMEONE ELSE that I LOVE. TO."
He shuddered and yowled the last word, "DIE!"
[Furiously, he let out a hiss of rage and pain, his face twisted in agony. He whipped away and stalked towards his den, his tail lashing.
Avalon watched him go, sadness in her eyes.]
"...do not fret, little one," she soothed softly. "He is in more pain than he can bear. But his words are true-it is better if you stay here." _____________________________...and melt in the w i n d ?

The battle is over for now...but not the war..sadly...I hope everyone is ok though." (( Hmhm. Avalon was never supposed to exist really, but I realized I needed an alternate flock to protect BreezeClan from Talon's flock. And to explain his hatred of them...yeah. And since Galestar was illegedly raised by a mother eagle, I decided Avalon should be the eagle. xD And then things got bigger n bigger and now they're a bit too big. Hopefully things end soon... Funny story, Galestar was only supposed to be a side cat in here. I guess his delusional flying attempts made him somehow likeable. Hurr. >> He really wasn't made for leadership, the silly billy. :/ YAY FOR PEBBLEHEART AS BACKUP <3 O3O ))

[Serpentfang glared at Galestar for the first time in her life. She felt anger, she felt it boil.] "Serpentfang wants to save Embergaze too! How can you tell her to just sit here and do nothing!? Its... its not right. you cant go alone. Serpentfang is not the little lost apprentice she used to be! She is a full grown mountain cat! Serpentfang loves this can, she is out protecting it from the dangers that wish to reach it! SHE WISHES YOU HAD MORE FAITH IN HER!!!" [Despite her rage she listened to his reasoning, it only made her more upset that he was right. When he went to his den she thought about running, but knew it would break his heart if she went missing. She hissed as she ran past Avalon to the warrior's den where she saw a very scared and confused Sweetleaf. She nodded in greeting to the warrior.] "....Everything is fine sweetleaf. There is no need to worry, Ravenpaw took care of the kittens and the birds all left..."
[She then slinked into the den and collapsed, trying desperately to calm herself.] Its cus he loves Serpentfang... and she should respect that... but it hurts to think she is just siting here...

When life knocks you down FIREKIT _______ [Firekit looked over at Siegekit. He was saying that he was the first cat to ever fly on an eagle. He snorted and called out to him.]"Siegekit that's a lie! I was the first kit to ever fight and fly on an eagle! You shouda seen the wounds I got on it." Just get back up when it knocks you down

When life knocks you down FIREKIT _______ [Firekit giggled a little. It had been the first time he had ever done this.]"Okay fine, we both flew on an eagle! And yeah I should.. But then I came out here because I heard bird noises and it was annoying me."[Firekit wriggled free from his fathers grasp, and padded to the medicine den, saying "Ow" every paw step he took.] Just get back up when it knocks you down

[Shadow watched his son make his way to the medicine den. He chuckled lightly, as the kits bragged about their success. The sweet scent returned as his mate entered his presence. He purred loudly and pressed his muzzle against her. When he parted, he smiled gently at her and gave her head a couple of licks.] "Yes, me and Firekit are fine; however i'm worried about his slight injury...he should be fine." Shadow mentioned.
[Suddenly, his pupils grew sharp and his fur bristled, as he noticed something severe. He used his left paw to push his mate slightly, only causing her to turn around, her back facing Shadow. His eyes filled with horror, as he saw the huge scratch on her back.] "S-Snowcherry! How'd you get this scar?!" Shadow asked, demanding for an answer.  ▬||Shadekit||▬ ════════════════════════ *[Shadekit's eyes grew wide, impressed by his brothers words.] "Y-You flew an eagle?!" Shadekit asked, in disbelief. "Y-You mousebrain! You could've gotten hurt..." Shadekit muttered. [Shadekit ignored his worries, as he wrapped his tail around his paws.] "Alright, i'm ready to listen! You better not be lying mousebrain! Otherwise i'll feed you to the eagles myself!" Shadekit joked, giving a slight grin to his brother. Me and Siegekit...we're finally making a close bond...maybe that is.* ════════════════════════ ════════════════════

When life knocks you down FIREKIT _______ ((AHHHH GUYS i'M SUPPOSE TO GET UP TO 13 INCHES OF SNOWW!!1 POSSIBLY 18! *Randomly spazzes out.* It's snowing!!!!!!))
[Firekit was bored, sitting in the medicine den without anyone to talk to. He padded up to the entrance of the den and looked over at his father.]"I so want to learn warrior moves. Then when that, eagle comes back... It'll surely die at my paws!"[Firekit crouched, and them jumped up behind Shadow and jumped onto his back. Everytime he jumped he whispered, "Ow"]"Hi father and mother!" Just get back up when it knocks you down

Over mountains... `•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´ *[Pebbleheart's cold, green glare locked on the eagle's figure, as they left the camp. She then concentrated on Harpy's words, wondering what she meant.] Harpy is a keen bird...but heartless. [Pebbleheart's cold glare focused only on Harpy's figure as she flew in the sky.] "From this day on...you are my arch enemy...Harpy..." Pebbleheart growled silently.
[She then gazed at Spadestripe, who seemed to be shaking with fear. The battle caused fear for Pebbleheart as well; however she won't show fear, not wanting to cause more fear to those who don't deserve it. She padded over to Spadestripe and gave her a small grin.] "Spadestripe, you've done well by protecting the kits in this battle...however.." Pebbleheart said. "..never mind, I will have to think of some kits who are ready to become apprentices..." Pebbleheart mentioned to herself. "You should rest, Spadestripe. Who will love me for what I really am?
[LOL, I was bored earlier, so I went back to when I first started posting as Birdsong and read the posts. Dear Lord, the difference in the personalities is hilarious biggrin ]
[I looked over at Seigekit, my ears pricked. Him and Shadekit seemed to be getting along fine now. Narrowing my eyes, I glanced at the two brothers for a few moments, curious as to what would happen. Then, Valorkit walked up and snuggled right up to Shadekit. Oh no she did not! I bared my teeth, flattening my calico ears, and let out a hiss]
"Hello Valorkit, what do you think you're doing?" I spat.
[I blinked, surprised at my anger. This was weird.
She's trying to steal Shadekit! the voice growled.
Oh, so this was the voice's work. Great. Then, anger overcame me again, and I glared at Valorkit]
[Uh oh! Birdsong alert!]

She waited and watched as the eagle considered her proposal.
Ravenpaw forced a smile when he accepted.
She gasped as Blizzard barreled into Harpy.
Ravenpaw looked at Pebbleheart and smiled. "Thank You" she meowed, dipping her head to the deputy.
"If I can climb this tree, I'm sure I can get down"
she meowed. "But thanks anyway". The young black she-cat stood up on shaky legs. Ravenpaw was shaking with relief that Blizzard came when he did.
I can't believe I was almost taken by an eagle!
she thought as she was, very slowly, making her way down the tree.
Ravenpaw was about halfway down when she misjudged the distance for
her paw to move and she fell off the side of the tree.
Ravenpaw shot up into a sitting position, embarrassed. She smoothed out
her ruffled fur and looked up to make sure Pebbleheart got down safely
Ravenpaw raced to Serpentfang. "Serpentfang!
Serpentfang! Are you okay?! Can I help with anything?!" she asked.
"I can help..." she offered, no idea what she was offering for.
Ravenpaw looked around, realizing that she was in the warriors den.
She lowered her head. "Should I just go?... I-I could leave
you to sleep" she meowed, looking back up at her mentor.]
