We're ready for just about anything, so we wait impatiently for the rest of the Team and the go-ahead signal.

~Sanctus Espiritus... "Ok, let's go. Anyone left behind can find their own way in cuz I'm not about to stand here all day and watch Phenac city get eaten up by the ground." With that, Maddy led her teammates into the sandstorm. Sure enough, the hole began to close itself up the moment they entered. Inside the storm it was perfectly hollow, and huge rocks jutted up from the ground. Maddy made a mental note of these.
A low devilish chuckle(clearly female) could be heard from the center of the storm, which was the way they were headed.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Adam walked after Maddy, looking around at the little sphere of relative safety they were in. "Here crazy lady, Come on out~" He taunted, looking from rock to rock.

"Stay sharp, buddy," I caution Salamence in a low voice. We fly close to the ground, but with enough altitude for evasive action, should it become necessary.
"Think we can pump whoever-she-is for more information, Maddy?"

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy glanced up at Thard. "Judging by her 'techniques', I don't think so. She seems a bit too destruction crazy." She jumped up onto a nearby rock and merely perched on the tip of it, looking around. Then she spotted the demon.A girl sat cross-legged on the top of a rock that jutted straight up from the ground. Her hair was dark brown, almost black, and was tied up in a ponytail. Her skin was fairly tanned, and she was scantly clad in a tank top and skirt(practically a loin cloth) that were both made of some brown fur. As they approached, she looked down upon them with yellow eyes that gave her a savage, animal-like appearance. She had a bunch of strange markings painted on her face in various colors and across her lap lay a sharpened stick of plain wood. "The prey approaches..." Her voice was cold and low, but still feminine.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

"Crap, she's got the high-ground! Salamence, take us up!!" My dragon climbs quickly, and draws even with the woman's rocky perch. We're still a ways off, but at least it lessens her advantage.

"Man, why do Crazy demon chicks always gotta be hot?" Adam complained, Jack looking up at him. "Adam, She's probably going to try killing us!" Adam looked down at the Buizel, unsheathing his swords. "... That's just a stereotype, now isn't it?"

"No kidding." Tommy mused towards Adam, sending out Rhyhorn for whatever reason. He hopped on and recklessly charged for the rock. "Distractions~" Tommy chimed as he raced towards the rock.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy leapt over so she was now perched on a rock that was next to and level with Thard. "So who do we have the pleasure of meeting this time?" She asked.The girl stood up, stick in hand. "My name is Iskierka. And today, I shall end the menace that my 'comrades' call Team Aqua. I should thank you first, however, for wiping out some of the competition for me. The fight for the royal throne will now be that much easier for me, after I finish with you." Without another word, she waved her hand through the air at Thard, a cloud of sand being drawn from the storm around them and flying at him. She then proceeded to leap at Maddy, with almost blinding speed, brandishing her 'spear'.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Tommy fires a random flare into the air. "Hey guys, fire might work a bit?" he called out, jumping off of Rhyhorn and telling him to stop.

Adam was about to shout 'Go for it' to Tommy, but Jack cut him off; "Not if you want deadly shards of glass flying at us instead of sand!" The Buizel called, firing off a Water Gun at Iskie-blabityblah. "I hate when you're right! Adam called to Jack as he jumped into the aair, Jack on his back. "Alright Jack, Fire 2!" He ordered, his Buizel firing off another Water Gun at The demon.

Surprised and temporarily blinded by the sand, Salamence recoils sideways, losing altitude and getting in the way of Tommy's random flare. It's all I can do to hold on through the turbulence.
"SAAA!!" he roars as the flames lick his chest.
"More air support! Vader, you're up too!" Crobat comes out of his pokeball and launches a gob of light (Confuse Ray) at Iskierka.

"Oh yeah..." Tommy sweatdropped as he called back to Adam. Returning Rhyhorn, Tommy threw Lairon's pokeball into the air, and the steel whateveryoudcallit started powering a Hyper Beam. Machoke popped out to supply his No Gaurd.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy was caught completely off guard by Iskierka's attack. She knew to expect something, but not that fast. Luckily, she managed to jump backwards and narrowly dodge the spear that had been aimed for her face. Unfortunately, she forgot that she only had air behind her, as the rock that she had previously been on was high up, and she fell several metres into the sands below. She ended up scratched up a bit, but the sand definitely cushioned the blow. She sat up and rubbed sand out of her eyes. "This is annoying!"Iskierka chuckled, and her eyes glinted in the light as the sands that everyone stood on began to swirl around. Anyone standing on the sand would begin to sink into it, and the sand that was swirling in the air would cut at them. After setting that up, she leapt down at Maddy(dodging the Confuse Ray), her spear held out and ready to impale Maddy with it.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~
