Fate growls into midair. Anne, can you not leave a bit of breathing room? Privacy would be nice for at least five more minutes. Then, when I leave, you may have Jaden all to yourself. She rolled her eyes. Anne really seemed interested in these Lycanthropes.

what can I say . . .their power is so different from ours . . .it fascinates me and dont they say: "Keep your friends close and your enemies CLOSER??" they are definitly our natural blood enemies *wistfull wind sigh blows* I would change at least some of that if I could

Jaden watched the vampire as she left "Farewell Fate, it would seem that your name was a well chosen one. Until we meet again." With that he turned to the sky and adressed the new matter. Is that you Anne? He thought. What is it that you want now?

Jaden sighed. Anne you can say hello but no one does unless they want something else. He sat down cross legged still staring at the sky. As a matter of fact if you didn't want something then I was going to ask a favor of you.

Wind sunddenly blows violently and the trees shake. From a cloud of swirling dead leaves and garbage Anne imerges . .as pristine as ever and smiles kindly to the wolf.* What do you ask?

Jaden grinned back "I ask for two things that you being a vampire should be easy to do. The first thing is I want to know is if your elders know anything about me. I feel like I've been watched the last couple of nights and I need to know if I should be on my guard around any vampires. The second thing should be easy with your curiosity and habit of talking to anyone. I need you to tell me if you come across a young Lycan called Fin. The reason why I ask you is because she's become rebellious and is trying to forge an alliance with the Coven by herself so she's going to be talking with vampires. My elders have asked me to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't get into trouble because they feel if a treaty falls through then she'll round up other Lycan's and make war with the hunters."

I cannot tell you what my kind speak of . . .I'm sure you understand. As for Fin, I will be wary of her and I will inform my fellow vampires . . .but that is all I can do. I dont simply grant wishes . . .I make deals. I'm sorry t has to be that way . . .On the other hand . . .I will grant small things without a price . . .like buying you a drink at the bar? Or being a kind sparring partner . . .*this is said with a twinkly in her eye* But I will give you this*pulls out a silver filagree case and pulls from it a black card with the name ARIADNE stamped on it in silver* If you need me in any serious situation, be it for healing or a battle, call this name (meaning PM me) and I'll come to you . . .but remember . . .If that happens, I get to ask YOU for a favour one day

holds out the card. suddenly starts to choke for a second and shudder, the card drops. falling to her knees, she reaches behind her with a trembling hand and pulls out a black vial . . .

Quietly, she enters the park. Slying around every shadow within her reach, she creeps to the fountain. Sighing, she didn't see much of anyone around. Fate sat gently on the edge of the fountain and pulled out her flask. Placing the opening to her lips, she glanced around and took a deep sip. Savoring the flavor, Fate closed her eyes slightly and put the flask away. Quiet tonight..too quiet perhaps.

quickly takes a swig from the vial . . .closes her eyes to hide the violent shabge in color from inky black to an iridescent white-blue. . . Counts quietly for a full minute up to sixty. Takes a deep breath and stands up . . .tries to act composed . . .obviously is failing. Combs hair away from face and smiles brightly belying the shaking of her hands.* Pretend you never saw that

slight frustration is shown only by the slight narrowing of her eyes. Then a resigned sigh.* Ok, so what is the big favour? The others I have granted to a degree because I consider you a friend *looks the lycan up and down* even if you are what you are. So will you use it now . . .or wait?
