I'm thinking of building a Space Wolves army of around 2000 points, money is not an issue. I'm looking for must-have suggestions for my army.

Lady Blodwynn I'm thinking of building a Space Wolves army of around 2000 points, money is not an issue. I'm looking for must-have suggestions for my army. well, i havnt got the codex, but i heard longfangs are good choises for heavy weapons, as apparantly they can select different targets, so 4 lascannons, 4 potential tanks per turn

I thought you were going to pick a great company and roll with it? Next time we chat ill discuss some specifics on some dos and don't based off what Ive seen and played with / against

also, a quick question, ive been told that you can use storm ravens in a normal space marine force, as the rules for one is in the white dwarf issue 374 ( UK ), even with the points cost, so what selection would it come under, heavy support, or fast attack, and is it true that they can use them in normal armies

No, current White Dwarf policy is to include certain new codex entries with each new release to show off the stats, rules and whatnot that makes it tick. They did the same with the giant spider and the Nemesis Dread Knight. I'd say wait until Summer, when Wartorn Skies is published in WD.

I might go with Bran Redmaw, but I'm waiting to see how his mini turns out.

I might go with Bran Redmaw, but I'm waiting to see how his mini turns out. interesting... what is his specialty? my Space Wolf friend went for Ragnar's one because he loves the idea of dropping into heart of enemy army and wreaking havoc...

hey guys sorry if i'm bothering you but i need some help. My army so far includes 4 full tactical squads, 1 assault marine squad, 1 full sternguard squad,1 drop pod,1 squad of scout bikes, 1 squad of scouts, 2 predator tanks(one with lascanon upgrade) and chapter master with full honor guard squad.

Take a Vindicator for Heavy Support, and Fast Attack... Maybe a Land Speeder Squadron, each with different gear.
You ought to wait for one of the resident Marine players to help you, but those are my rough ideas.

thx my original thought for heavy support was landraider crusader and as for fast i haven't really much thought but thx for your input.
