I went to the Hong Kong Chinese New Year's parade and took a few (hundred) pictures. Here are the ones that don't suck terribly. sweatdrop

I took video mostly of the parade because pictures tended to get all blurry.. so maybe I'll make a video compilation later of the evening. Anyone went to the fireworks btw?... Totally AWESOME!! whee

Oh, just here in Hong Kong.. I heard they spent something like 400,000 € on the fireworks, and that there was some 300,000 people watching (I could've told that by just looking at the mass of people).

It's fun to be head taller than the rest sometimes, these crowd situations are among those moments. wink
Of course it sucks for anyone who ends up standing behind me. Heh. sweatdrop

Ohh.. my feet were SO frigging sore after standing for more than 4½ hours almost motionless! But the show was nice so I stood my ground even with the pain. whee

Ahah, yeah.. I should've. Instead I went to see the fireworks on the following day and had to stand up there for 2½ hours more! Hah..

Well, seems a couple days later everything is fine again. wink
