Hello Kit. *shoves a Christmas cookie into Kit's mouth and paces about the room mumbling to myself* Where in the world did my shadows go? It should not be this hard to find a Christmas tree. We're not in the desert. We're in the middle of a freaking forest. They should totally be back by now...*mumble mumble*

*The ground rumbles and a shadow portal opens in the middle of the main hall. Slowly a large douglas fir ascends, soon reaching the rafters and beyond breaking through the ceiling into the rooms above. Once it has reached its full height, the portal disperses into several shadow beasts that look rather pleased with themselves.*
