Pokemon Limits for Classes. Good enough or should the number be higher?
It's good how it is, I don't really use that many Pokemon.
It needs to be a bit higher but you're on the right track.

Allen tossed a ball high into the air, releasing his Pawniard. "Kell, slice the locks off." The metallic Pokemon jumped high in the air, slashing across a couple locks. They split from the center and the cages flung open. "Good job."

Rose nodded to Maddy "Okay boss" she agreed and called out her shiny honedge from a Pokeball, it's coloring had changed after she'd fed it a shiny pokeblock "With me, my friend" she called as she rushed towards the first cage that had a label "Castelia. Break these pokemon out with sacred sword" she ordered.

"Honedge." the ghost pokemon swung itself and easile shatted that cage, and Rose moved on to a second with also said Castelia city, and with another Sacred sword attack those were free.

Rose moved on to the third cage "This one says Coumarine City, boss" Rose called out.

Caleb sent out his Sneasel since the first time in...pretty much ever. The clawed pokémon looked surprised to say the very least. When was the last time he had seen outside of that spherical contraption?

"Mind helping out?" Caleb asked, gesturing to the cages.

The Sneasel raised an eyebrow. Oh really? Now you want help?

Caleb let out a long sigh, "please?"

That seemed to be adequate of an apology. For the time being at least. The Sneasel took a stance before swinging his razor sharp claws against the bars of a few cages. Caleb blinked a bit as the cages broke apart, freeing the pokémon trapped inside. Clearly that wasn't what he had in mind. "Thanks..." he mumbled. Marshtomp folded his arms. He could do that too!

Michael looked at the cage and was furious. He pulled a pokeball from his pocket and tyhrew it. Out popped Squirt. Michael quicikly gave him the rundown and Squirt went to work. Doors were flying off of there hinges as Michael read the names of cities. From his area he yelled over to Maddy. "None from Kalos here Captain."

The Aquan examined a few cages and looked at the inhabitant, a Raticate.

"Wow. I'm surprised you weren't able to chew through this thing," he muttered, running his fingers through the bars. To the Pokémon's credit, it made a few marks against the metal, but it would be quite a while before it was broken. Rei decided melting the bars would be far easier, and sent out his Charmander.

"Scipio, melt the bars, but don't hurt the Raticate." It nodded and, after a few moments of fire in direct contact with the metal, enough bars were weak enough for the Raticate to free itself, only slightly burning its mouth.

Rei shrugged. It could have been worse.

The sound seemed to attract attention. A group of grunts entered the room, headed by two robed men; one in red and one in brown.
Both robed men wielded canes with gen stones embedded on them, gems the same color as the robes they wore. The gems started to glow, casting them all in a red and bronze light.
"Get them!" The man in brown cried.
The grunts ran at them all, ready to battle.

[Reserve. Bronius (brown guy) and Rood (red guy) don't have Pokemon of their own to fight. Instead, they use the power of the gems in their canes to alter battles in Team Plasma's favor. You must fight one grunt with 6 Pokemon. The battle will have te effects of Trick Room (thanks to Rood), meaning slower Pokemon will move before faster ones. Bronius' power is that he picks three types to reflect back at the user's Pokemon. For the first three Pokemon, Fire, Water, and Grass-type attacks will be reflected, dealing damage to the user. For the last three Pokemon, the types are Fighting, Dark, and Psychic. The grunts will be aware of what attacks reflect, but you will have to learn through trial and error. Any questions, please ask.]

Caleb looked around, bewildered by the red light. He was literally seeing red now. The swarm Team Plasma grunts didn't help much at the moment with Caleb's mood. Less so when a grunt attacked him.

Caleb fumbled with his poké balls, sending out his Charmeleon.

The fire lizard snorted at his opponent. A puny blue bug. Charmeleon didn't even wait for an order, spitting flames from his mouth that....literally blew up in his face. Both he and Caleb were surprised to say the least. Dragon Rage worked just fine though. The Karrablast mustered what strength it had left before headbutting Charmeleon in the chest. Charmeleon was not thrilled at all. Regaining his footing, he swung his claws at the bug type.

Once the grunt replaced Karablast with Boldore, Caleb recalled Charmeleon as well. Marshtomp took the stage now. Water gun had almost the same result Flamethrower had. A bit frustrated, Marshtomp applied a swift chop to the top of the Boldore. This did damage for sure. Marshtomp was pleased again. The rock type was still standing though. The two pokémon simultaneously tackled one another.

Caleb sent out his Sneasel next against the Tympole. Sneasel took a deep breath as he tried to relax a bit. Then the scraping of his claws against the ground. Caleb winced. It sounded very similar to nails on a chalkboard. Sneasel covered his face as he was barraged by a flurry of bubbles. A slash of his claws put the Tympole in his place. Sneasel sharpened his claws once more as Tympole was replaced by the next pokémon.

The Mienshao sneered at Sneasel, faking him out with one fist before smashing him in the face with the other. Sneasel answered with Icy Wind, slowing Mienshao down. Next he started flash freezing shards of ice and hurled them in the Mienshao's direction. He had his opponent on the ropes now, or so he thought. He launched a Dark Pulse only for it to backfire and hit him instead. The two charged at one another, Sneasel using Shadow Claw and Mienfoo attacking with Aura Sphere. The two attacks collided with their targets. Both pokémon collapsed from the blows.

Caleb sighed and recalled his Sneasel before replacing him with Noibat. A Yamask was sent out. Great, another pokémon Caleb knew very little about. At least he had his TADS for looking up unfamiliar pokémon. Noibat glided forward before sinking her little fangs into the Yamask. It was a short scuffle for sure. Triumphantly she returned to Caleb.

Vibrava was up against the last pokemon. A Sigilyph? Looked like something you'd smash open to get candy from. That was Caleb's opinion at least. Before he could give Vibrava a command, she shot a powerful beam from her mouth. The beam found its target, pushing the Sigilyph into the wall, and making a visible indent.

Caleb, Marshtomp and Noibat stared. "Well ********..." Caleb said, throwing up his arms exasperatedly.

The grunt wasted no time battling a surprised Rei.

"They just keep coming," he muttered. The grunt laughed and sent out his first Pokémon, a Muk. Rei shrugged, resigned to his fate, and sent out his Mawile.

"Iron Defense, now." The Mawile frowned at her partner and folded her arms, but reluctantly agreed. After all, what was a Muk going to do to her? Drool on her shoe? Her body shimmered, and her skin toughened. The Muk was going to have a hard time battling this one out. A very frustrated Muk did everything he could think of; throwing pieces of itself, farting, eating a berry and promptly vomiting all over the Mawile, but nothing seemed to work. Only then did he realize the grave error he made; it was a Steel-type! Not even the man's strange waggling of his wand did anything, much to Rei's amusement. In desperation, it muttered a curse at the Mawile and committed "suicide," forcing itself into the Mawile's large jaws and just sitting there until she grew tired of chomping on it. Memento was strange that way. As the Muk fainted, the Grunt grumbled and sent out his next Pokémon, a Darumaka.

Rei, not wanting to have his whole team hate him for extended periods of disadvantaged battling, recalled his Mawile. He had a feeling she would need her soon enough; his tag team was still injured, and he didn't want to call on them again. Rei was also worried that the glowing canes were more than just playthings. After a moment's hesitation, Rei sent out his Salamence.

"Emo Cloud, just use Fly on it. It's not that tough," Rei said, pulling out a strange device and fiddling with it. After Darumaka threw some fire at the Salamence, the huge dragon flew high into the air, easily avoiding Darumaka's further feeble attempts at attacking it. When it was satisfied, the Salamence fell from the sky, dropping all 226 pounds of muscle and bone on the poor Darumaka. It did not survive the attack. Grumbling became growling as the grunt recalled his pathetic Pokémon.

"This is ridiculous! Bronius, you're supposed to be helping me win!!!" Rei said nothing, his eyes narrowing at the two old coots waving their sticks around. Now he was certain they were giving the combatants some kind of edge. Rei smirked; two could play that game. He continued fiddling with his device in silence.

The grunt sent out his Druddigon, certain that he had the upper hand in the battle. Normally a slow Dragon-type, Druddigon excelled when coupled with the Trick Room that the rods were giving him. It roared and recklessly charged ahead, certain he would fell the huge Salamence before it had a chance to retaliate.

The Salamence flew into the air, easily dodging the blow, and with a rushing swipe, bashed the Druddigon into the ground. As the Salamence tore the Druddigon apart, the latter looked to his nefarious teammates for assistance, confused. Wasn't he supposed to beat the Salamence in speed? As Druddigon slipped out of consciousness, he noticed that the rods the old men were holding were electrically shocking the wielders. Something was wrong. But how...? It was knocked out before the question could be answered. Rei laughed, setting his small device back in his bag.

"There, now we're fighting on a fair field," he said, a grin splayed on his face. The grunt turned to his teammates, but they were both twitching on the ground, silent. Shocked, the grunt looked back at the Aquan.

"You... What did you do?!?" The goon's voice cracked in fear. Rei ignored the grunt.

"Emo Cloud, if that's the last of his Pokémon, send a Dragonbreath his way." The grunt squeaked in terror.

"N-no! Kingler, help me!" The colossal crab shot out from its capsule and faced off against the Salamence, its massive claws clicking angrily. Rei seemed untroubled at the Kingler's presence.

"Emo Cloud, Thunder Fang." The Kingler put up a quick protective shield between himself and the enemy, knowing that it was only buying itself an extra second of time. Left with not many options, it abandoned its usual tactics of "crush with claws" and went for a full frontal Slam, accepting the electric shock from the Salamence's jaws in return. This went on for a few minutes, until finally, the Kingler fell to the ground, defeated. Salamence was finally beginning to show signs of wear and tear, its wings bloody from the Kingler's powerful pincers.

"Good job, Emo Cloud. Just hold out for a little longer," Rei called out as the grunt sent out his Cherrim. Rei knew the battle was soon over; the grunt's eyes were wild, desperately darting around the room, as if he was already planning his escape.

"Cherrim, Sunny Day!" A little orb of light popped up in the dank sewer, shining artificial, but still effective "sunlight" into the room. It was enough for the Cheerim to open itself up and get a significant boost in power, but unfortunately, it was setting itself up for a lot of fire. Flames erupted from Salamence's mouth, and he bit down happily on the flower. It immediately retaliated with a Solar Beam to the mouth. Like a punch to the jaw, Salamence was sent reeling backwards, surprised at the little flower's potency.

Just like Rosetta, Emo Cloud chuckled as he shook his head. He swore, one day he would learn not to underestimate small Pokémon.

Rei recalled his Salamence before it came to further harm.

"Scipio, finish the job," Rei commanded, sending out his Charmander to fight the solar-powered flower. The Charmander gave the Cherrim a toothy grin and blasted out a powerful Flamethrower, happily accepting a Solar Beam to the face in return. The fire attack finally burst through, and Cherrim was downed. Scipio's head spun, and something wet dribbled down its mouth. The Charmander looked down to the ground and realized it was his blood. The Cherrim was far stronger than anticipated. Rei sighed; Scipio had a lot to learn.

"Return, Charmander," he grumbled to his fiery and mildly foolish companion. His hand reached for his Poké Ball, but the Countess flew in. Rei blinked in surprise.

"You want a go, Countess?" She nodded in reply, swooping in low at the grunt. She didn't want to get rusty. The grunt flailed his arms around, not wanting to get bitten by the bloodsucker. Rei laughed, glad she still wanted to fight.

"Alright then, don't get yourself hurt. Confuse Ray whatever it is he has left." The grunt tossed out his final Pokémon, a Diglett. It was promptly confused, the Zubat sending out her sinister ray in waves. The Diglett popped from hole to hole, trying to attack the Zubat, but instead, attacking its trainer. Zubat took advantage of the moment and used her mastery over the air against the little mole while it was entangled with its trainer, her Acrobatics dealing heavy damage. Another self-inflicted wound from the Diglett made it easy prey. Exhausted, the grunt recalled his Diglett before it passed out and jumped into a hole the Pokémon made in between attacks.

Ghetsis entered the room as his henchmen were defeated. He shook his head.
"You would go to such trouble to release a few mere tax collections?" He looked over the few caged Pokémon that still remained. He shook his head again and looked to his men. "Release the remaining Pokémon."
His men obeyed and began fumbling with the keys to each individual cage.
"I will let this slide. Now leave Unova behind you and stop meddling in our affairs."

Maddy smirked. Did he really think it was that easy? "Fine. We basically just came here for the Coumarine Pokémon anyway."
She gestured to her team mates before they could say anything.
"Let's go."
Maddy led them all back the way they came, followed by a large group of now free Pokémon.
"We're still gonna meddle in his affairs, but I figured I'd play along since he was releasing all those Pokémon." She said as they found their way back to the sewers. "Think the Pokémon can find their way back to their owners?"

Rei could only guess.

"I certainly hope so, though some have a very long way to go," he said, remembering their long voyage to Unova. He could only imagine how long it would take for Coumarine's stolen Pokémon to return to Kalos.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 24, 2014 7:50 pm

Caleb gritted his teeth as he caught sight of Ghetsis. "You..." he whispered, clenching his fists. It wasn't too hard to tell where he wanted those fists to go. A few tax collections? Joke or not, Caleb could feel his blood practically boiling. He was shocked whenever Ghetsis ordered his minions to release the pokémon. He scoffed whenever Ghetsis told them to leave Unova and stop getting in the way.

"After what you did to Coumarine? You're lucky I don't do that to your face right now..." Caleb snapped. Then Maddy's reply. Was she serious?! Caleb sure hoped not. He grumbled as he turned and followed Maddy and the others, staying at the back of the group.

He stared, looking a bit surprised when Maddy mentioned that she hadn't been serious when she answered Ghetsis. Caleb planned to do more than just meddle. He refused to let Ghetsis get away like Lysandre had done.

"Depends on where each pokémon is from. The ones from Castelia shouldn't have much trouble. It'll be a bit difficult for some of them though..." Caleb answered. The Comarine pokémon specifically. He could only imagine how they'd be transported back to Kalos.

As the Aquans lead the freed Pokémon out of the sewers, a Xatu breaks away from the group and stands to one side. She seems to be calling some of the other Pokémon to her as well. Soon, there are a couple dozen Pokémon clustered around this Xatu, and some of them appear to be from Kalos.

No more Pokémon join the group, so Xatu spreads her wings slightly and bows her head, as if to say "Thank you" to the Team.

Her eyes and body glow a vibrant blue, and the entire group vanishes!
