  Location: Quidditch Pitch (Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff) Jasper walked onto the pitch looking to his teammates before glancing over at the Gryffindor team. The lions won their first game so he knew they meant business. Ultimately if they could knock Jess down a bit they should be able to win. Of course the beaters on the Gryffindor team were a force to be reckoned with. The whole opposing team was pretty leveled out and it worried Jasper. Alice would have been telling him it was just a game if she was there, he was sure. He just had to be a little more confident while on the field he supposed. That should be a no brainer... although by now he shouldn't be so nervous. Status: Nervous as always With: Gryffindor and Hufflepuff team members Wearing: Quidditch Uniform OOC:

Iris rolled her neck, a vicious little smile playing on her lips. She'd taken the time to emphasize her tattoo a little, adding bits of glittery black and shimmery yellow to highlight it, and her hair was braided back out of the way. She might not have started out a huge quidditch fan, but....it had grown on her, and Iris planned on having a bit of fun today. And what was more fun than winning?

Bronwen stepped onto the pitch and looked at the teams assembled. Her old house, and the house of badgers. She was going to enjoy this game. She gave a slight wave to those assembled and placed the box she carried down onto the ground. "This gave is between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. Badgers versus Lions. Now, I want a good clean game. Let's get this game started!" With a shrill blast of her whistle, she released the balls and grabbed the quaffle. Launching herself into the air, she tossed the quaffle up for the toss-up.

Currently: Looking for the snitch Chasing the Snitch: XX/3 (Need a 19 or above to Spot) Catching the Snitch: XX/2 (Need a 22 or above to Catch) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Julius was more than aware that this was one particular game he couldn't afford to waste any time in locating the snitch. Jess was good. She was definitely the most experienced of any of seekers he'd be up against this year. So, the moment, after the quaffle was released, Julius didn't waste a moment to shoot into the air, ignoring whatever the fate would be of the quaffle to start his search for the one ball that actually mattered (besides the occasional possible bludger that may come his way but he was confident that he was probably one of the best protected seekers in that case with Toby and Ronna as beaters)-and that ball was of course the tiny snitch that was flitting somewhere around the field. Now, all he had to do was find where and then catch it and before Jess did.

 Lives: {❤} {❤} {❤} Modifiers: SAME AS ABOVE Attempting to win the toss up Roll: ___ (+6 to stealing) (+4 to scoring)= ____ Posts to Goal: XXX/3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As the referee Bronwen Jones tossed the quaffle into the air for the toss up, Cathy shot forward deciding to take the most direct approach and hope her usual speed and small size helped her as it typically did in this sort of thing. If she could manage to get to the quaffle before any of the Gryffindor chasers did she could pass it off to Elsie or even Iris, feeling both girls were a bit better scorers than her, though she didn't know if it was because that was actually the case in the sake of Iris or she just felt the girl was more aggressive in her playing and scoring seemed more of an aggressive thing than Cathy's knack for dodging bludgers and squeezing into tight places to steal a quaffle when needed. She reached out for the quaffle, hoping to take possession for her house so Hufflepuff could rack up as many points as possible before Jess could (no-would-she had faith in her team's seeker) catch the snitch for Hufflepuff.

Aiming at Jess Walsh Roll: 15 + 7 = 22 (Hit, unless blocked in time) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As the game started, Ronna noted both seekers already seemed to be hot on the search for the snitch and both spotted it. Well that wouldn't do if Jess was completely unhindered now would it? Not feeling the slightest bit of hesitation she aimed a nearby bludger with quite a bit of force towards her boyfriend's sister. What? Jess could take it... even if she was the size of some first years. Actually Ronna was fairly sure she was taller than Jess was now as early as her second year.

She turned just in time to see the first chasers untangling themselves, with no clear possession of the quaffle as yet. Both seekers already had that intent look, and seemed to have spotted the snitch. The game had barely started, but it was already looking like it would be a fast and furious match. Iris kicked off hard, but didn't go for the quaffle. Instead, she stayed out of the initial smash of chasers and waited for a clear winner to emerge. It wouldn't be long until she'd either have a target to steal from or a teammate to position herself to accept a pass from.
