Arekku's quick reflexes came in handy as the spikes came close he was able to dodge a few and grabbed one as it nearly sailed through hie head. Quickly he reeled back and tossed it back at it's creator at a pretty high rate of speed.
Most of the pokemon weren't exactly thrilled to try and get in close so they just used special attack. The spikes just bounced off of them, luckily.

Ducking into one of the trenches carved out by Ferric's sound blasts, I manage to evade most of the spikes. But I wasn't quite fast enough to dodge them all. One spike lodges in my left shoulder.
"This is much more fun than a magic duel! Hyah!" Hopefully, Maddy would get the hint as I summon a small meteor down at Ferric's head.

Ginji and Butterfree phased out with their combined speed, leaving the others to defend against the blast. Gengar phased through some of the metal spikes, the attack tearing at its essence slightly. Clefairy unleashing the Metronome, producing an Earthquake, shattering the building around them. Porygon-Z quickly caught up with Ginji and Butterfree, still targeted on the Steel Monster.
Slowpoke changed from Water Pulse to a Surf attack to wet the entire field around Ferric, "Zap Cannon!" Ginji called out as Pory unleashed the electric attack on the Demon. Hopefully shocking it back to Hell. He was standing by Maddy now, close enough to protect her if need be, or her to protect him if he really needed it.

Maddy seen the meteor coming. "OH SH--?!" She grabbed Memo to stop him from running into the attack, and teleported the both of them safely away into one of the trenches. "That was close!"
Ferric was hit by pretty much every attack all at once. He cried out in pain and anger. He had a job to do, and he was currently failing at it. He summoned the last of his strength and rushed towards Maddy, shooting another barrage of spikes, intending to kill her before her met his end. "DIE!!!"

The Metagross from before stepped in the way of the demon's attack with and took it for Maddy and whoever else would be that way. But it couldn't stop Ferric's rush. Arekku grinned at the fact that his powers came in handy to that extent. "I thought they would just attack relentlessly, hahaha!!"

Memo was a bit taken back when he was teleported. He watched the attack and panted with a smile on his face.
"Thank you-"
He was cut off by a crazed Ferric bombarding Maddy with spikes.
"NO!!"
Memo being right next to her immediately jumped in front of Maddy and shielded himself, trying to protect Maddy from the blast. He stood his ground wouldn't move.
"POISON FANG!!"
Baxter popped out from the ground and attempted to crunch down on Ferric's shoulder with horrific purple teeth.

Ginji and Butterfree barely made it out of the area of effect on time. The blast of the meteor shook the earth to what Ginji felt was its core. "Remind me never to try and help anyone ever again." the teen joked as he returned all his Pokemon except Porygon-Z.
In a half sync, a scouter appeared in his eye, trained on Ferric. his arm acted like a sniper rifle, digital pieces of information appearing over his body, not able to shield himself from any blows that would have easily been blocked should he have been in full sync.
"Fire." he said darkly as a sole line of highly concentrated energy with high penetration power shot at Ferric's skull. Moving targets were some of the most fun to hit.

It would be risky, but with Ferric so intent on Maddy, there was a good chance this would work. I draw one of my blades and channel power to both it and my Dreamcatcher. Thrusting both of them, I unleash a swarm of tiny meteorites to pummel Ferric from above. "Meteor Storm!"

Ferric flung Baxter off to the side, and then he was hit. Upon contact with all the attacks, Ferric's steel-coated body began to burn white hot. After a few seconds, he exploded, sending sharp pieces of metal flying everywhere.
Maddy dove out of the way behind a nearby rock, avoiding the burning pieces of metal. She got a few small shards in the side, dotting her shirt with blood, and one piece managed to get her across the face, a thin cut across her right cheek.

As before, I duck down into the trench to avoid the attack. When the coast is clear, I stand up and ask, "Is it over?"

"BAXTER!!!"
Memo watched as Mightyena was flung away. He then noticed that Ferric was about to explode!
"Eh!"
He tried to get out of the way with backflips, but the blast was to fast for his tired body to outrun. As he was moving backwards with his hands on the ground he was caught up in the shard storm. He covered his face and brought his knees close in to protect himself. His clothes were now torn apart and little streams of blood tricked their down his body. He was eventually thrown into a piece of wall. He stumbled back up and ran over to Baxter to return him
"I'm sorry..."
He fell to his knees and crawled over to Maddy.
"You ok?"
He asked kindly as he looked at the girl and managed a smile.

Maddy got to her feet. She could sense that the forces of good and evil were balanced. "It seems so..." She clutched her side, as there were shards embedded there. She glanced at Memo. "And to answer your question, I'm fine."

Ginji sees the pieces of sharp metal flying at him at high speed, but it not able to do anything after the power need for the last attack. As Pory de-syncs from his body, a light blackness comes over him, causing him to fall to the ground.
"Hmn." he awakes from the light dizzy spell to find Prygon-Z in its Pokeball and a giant piece of metal sticking out of his leg. "Help?!" he called out, wincing in pain and at the bloodloss.

Arekku jumped behind a large pile of rubble, his leg getting hit with one of the shards of the demon's body, "s**t!!!" Arekku cried out. He drew his leg to himself. The metal felt like it had hit close to the bone, but it was still sticking out about six inches. "This'll hurt later..." Blood poured from around the side of the metal object. He ripped his pant leg from around the wound and started folding it up. He bit down on it and quickly removed the shard. "Dang... I thought I'd come out of this with no problem..." He wrapped the pant leg around the area and tied it tight. He slowly made his way over to the rest of of the group with the help of a thin rod that had been bent at the tip and seemed to look more like a cane.
Since his concentration fell from the surrounding pokemon, they came back to their senses and wondered off.

"G-Ginji!!" Maddy ran over and sat by Ginji, looking at the piece of metal. "Uhhhh... Uhmmm... It's gonna hurt a lot, but I think we should remove that like NOW!" She reached out and took his hand without really realizing.
