Fujiwara who was watching the forest line seemed to fall backwards as if he had been punched in the face. It would have been better if he had since thats how he felt after that bombshell. He looked at her and emotion actually showed on his face. A mix of angry bewilderment and sadness for his friend.
"R-Reeve!?! I... I am sorry Fen. I had no idea."
His brain was reeling. Why the hell was Reeve...Who the hell was this "angel"...What was this dojo coming too!?

"He was with someone before he asked me to marry him again. Irianna. She has bird wings, so he calls her an 'angel'. Night before the wedding, he breaks off with me and runs off." She stared to the ebony bottle, tears coming to eyes once more. She brought the bottle to her lips and took down quite a bit of the ale before putting it to the side.

Fujiwara nodded his understanding and then did something probably unexpected. Hedid asuprisingly nimble flip from the stand still point he was in and landed next to the bottle in a crouch. he then grabbed it and tossed it away. Of all the things she needed now it was not that crap. he then sat next to her.
"Listen my friend. i know what you are going through. It sucks, but I found that all you need is a friend."
he gave her an award winning smile.

Fenris blinked as he chucked her ale, sighing a bit. Why did everyone keep doing that...?
She leaned against her friend, cloing her eyes as they became heavy. She slipped out from under the wolf is it fell asleep, looking to Fujiwara. "I know that... but even Nekojiri hates me now... And Tutsumi has been gone for days, as well as... most people. This place gets empty a lot..."

Fujiwara nodded. He wasnt here enough anymore that he didnt feel like a member anymore. This place was just somewhere to visit and see friends. Then, with a subconscious thought, he wrapped an arm around her and gave her a big hug. Something Fuji had only done to one other: Kohyoh.

Fenris blinked as she was hugged; a rare occurrence these days. She smiled and turned to Fuji quickly, hugging him back enthusiastically. She loved hugs. They made her happy. She didn't want advice. Just stress relieving hugs!

Fujiwara smiled as she hugged back. After several more seconds he broke the hug.
"So, besides all that, how have you been?"
Thoughts of his own crap kept trying to pop up but Fujiwara did his best to control them and let the real him out at the same time. Now was not the time to deal with his crap, helping friends ALWAYS came first.

At this question he closed his eyes. thinking of the best way to answer the question. He sat back and let momentum take him to the ground. So now he lay beside his friend staring at the sky.
" Pretty crappy. Craps happened, and decisions I made months ago have come out of nowhere and slapped me in the face."
He closed his eyes and gave a sigh.
"Speaking of bad decisions. Sorry about mine." he said rather cryptically.

"Ex-wife. Yes, plus...random...other crap."
He then sighed.
"And no meh, what i did that night to you was messed up and everyday I look back on that and wince. You have no idea how grateful I am that you even talk to me Fen."

"I'm a very forgiving person... with a few exceptions. But... I'm fine, honestly." She waved it off, then plopped down on top of Fujiwara to hold him in a hug. "Guess we're both dumped. It hurts a lot... and it must hurt a lot more for you, Fujiwara. What happened to your kids?"

If Fujiwara was freaked out by fen laying on top of him in a hug he did not show it. Instead he just gave her a nod and looked back up at the sky as he returned the hug.
"She has them. Which is good since they are loads safer with her, but still. I can barely ever see them...."

"That's not fair, Fujiwara... You should see them more. They are yours too." She said before yawning big. She was comfy. She wanted more Ale. Ale had made her a bit sleepy. Maybe she had too much? Nevah!!
