Tommy sighed. It seemed he was being ignored. Looking up, he saw a familiar figure in the distance. "A... Arreku?" Tommy whispered, scratching his head, a anime-ish question mark over his head. He jogged over. "Arreku!" Tommy shouted, though not loud enough for Maddy and Memo to hear.

Arekku heard his name and turned his head to see Tommy jogging over, "Hey Tommy." He sighed rather that spoke, "Hows it?" he asked as he turned his vision back to the ocean.

"Good, I guess." Tommy answered. "Memo was trying to comfort Maddy, I asked if she was ok, but that was about it that I know of. You?"

Arekku shrugged, "Could be worse, but then again, I could be much better." He reviewed his thoughts, "I just got a visit from Clara, my sister." He moved around a little uncomfortably and stood, "I really am sorry, I have to go." He tossed Kaito, his bronze toned and sapphire winged Skarmory, and flew off.

"Bye then?" Tommy called off into the horizon after Arreku. he decided to go back over to where Maddy and Memo were. He went slowly, slowly, slowly closing the distance.

Maddy appeared up in her usual corner on the ceiling. Her eyes were bloodshot, she had been awake all night. She was situated in the darkness, still acting all fidgety, and from the angle the light was hitting her, her eyes shone all animal-like, except they were purple instead of yellow. "..."

Tommy came in with a long yawn, having stayed up late."Happy new years... anyone?" Tommy said, looking around, only to see the furniture, tumbleweeds, and a pair of purple eyes in a corner of the room near the ceiling. "No guessing who that is..." Tommy muttered. Well, he had to go anyways, but he was hoping to see someone for the new year at all. he left.

Maddy blinked a couple times. She had been off in her own little world and she was positive that someone had entered the room. But no one was there. "..."

about an hour or two later, Tommy came back, full of pizza and rootbeer. "I love pizza." Tommy declared as he dropped lazily on to the couch. Again, he peered up, looking at THAT corner. The purple eyes were still there. Is she still there? he thought, though he looked away for the moment.

"...?" Tommy didn't really speak either. "What's the point of saying hi if nothing's to be talked about....?" he spoke to himself somewhat inaudibly. "So... anything bothering you at all?" You couldn't blame him for trying, at least.

"Heh, lots of things. Hmmm... I wonder how any people will be around here tonight?" She asked, mostly to herself. She scratched the back of her head, frowning slightly.
