Her long hair flowed behind her as she entered the courtyard. She had on a tight black corset and a short black skirt that swayed behind her. She looked around and found a nice grassy spot to sit. Placing down her books she knelt and pulled out a novel she had been reading, Death to the Gold.

Alef felt her skirt move and quickly threw her hands down to hold it in place. She went slightly red in the cheeks as she turned around to see Taqune nearby. Looking almost indignated, she shrugged it off and went over to him smiling in the slightest. "Hey..." She said quietly, again appearing more reserved than was usual for her.

Tatsu watched as Solumone jumped from conversation to conversation, and it amazed him. He was filled with envy for Solumone, who was able to hold multiple conversations at once, while Tatsu could hardly have one. He sighed, and decided he'd have to think about joining Yusake's team. He turned back to Alef and smiled at her. I have no clue what to say to her now... He pulled up the tablet again and started writing. Alef had already left once he was done, though, so he merely leaned back against the fountain and sighed. So bored...

Azrael turned his head away and caused his waist length blond hair to sway to the side. He opened his wings up quickly and a flap was heard from the motion, one of his wings went out beside him away from her and hte other went out just behind her back as a few blackened bloody feathers flew off again landing in the fountain. " I am not ashamed of my wings they are what they are because of a mistake i made... bad judgement and i deserve my status i will try my haerdest to atone and earn back my proper wings instead of these abominations " Azrael turned his head back to her and said nothing for a second letting her htink, he eventually spoke again " And i beleive you should do your best to atone too "

Alef looked to the sleeping cat girl in his lap and shrugged. "We all have our own stories, but I don't many who revert back to slaves..." She sighed a little not knowing what to say about it. She wasn't in her normal mood, and she didn't want to sound to harsh or short, often making her sound like she didn't care about anything. That's not how she was, but only how she felt at the moment. There were only a few people in here now she felt she could tolerate, but none the less, she didn't come off rude towards anyone. "How have you been?'

Her hand turned the pages in the book as she quickly read it. She flicked her hair and it shined in the sun as it rested over her other shoulder. The grass crunched as she placed her hand behind her to steady herself. The book was very good and had been written by a man like her, someone who never knew his mother. Suddenly she was splashed by water from the founten. It covered her and her book. She shook her head and closed her book. She stood up and faced the man that had caused her book to be recked. "Excuse me sir...what was that for?"

Susie felt the brush of air behind her as his wing went behind her. Another sigh escaped from her parted lips and she turned to him, nodding slightly. "Well, that's good for you. I should. I want to. It just seemed like before, i was always alone to face my faults that i have made..." She just trailed off and shook her head, looking back over to him.

She slowly lifted herself up off of the fountain, kneeling up with one knee so that she would lift herself up slightly. She closed her eyes tightly and wrapped her arms around herself as she gritted her teeth tightly and clenched her jaw. Her long purple hair went to the sides of her face as loud cracks could be heard and she bent over slightly.

A few moans could be heard from her throat and a few growls as suddenly two large black wings ripped out of her back. They were covered with crimson blood. Some of the blood dripped into the fountain behind her and made it even more darker than before. She reopened her eyes that were filled with pain. Her back was torn up slightly from having to take out her wings.

She slowly sat back down on the fountain beside him once more. Susie's blue eyes looked back over to his and she nodded to him, sadly. "There you have it..."

Tatsu sighed and again and puts his arms behind his head and he continued to lean against the fountain. I gotta find something fun to do. Alef's talking to someone else, that Solumone guy is having too many conversations as it is, and that Yusake guy... He's an a**.Tatsu sat up off the fountain, his eyes half-closed as he looked around. Nothing to do... Guess I should make the most of this time and try to manipulate at least a little of it... Tatsu grabbed his left wrist, and exhaled deeply. Strain was obvious in his expression, his teeth gritted as he attempted to mold up some of his energy on his own free will. He stopped after a while and sighed. I guess I still can't do it.

Tatsu leaned back against the water fountain and shut his eyes. What a boring place... Can't wait for the tournament...
