Raven Kanzaki Dantes_Sin_of_Greed Raven Kanzaki I was invited to participate in this years Yu Yu Hakusho Battle Universe Guild for the 2012 Makai Tournament. So that will occupy my boredom. Meh, can't blame a guy for trying? I just felt extra creative and what was supposed to be short post turn into that...Silliness... Funny, considering I started out the opposite...Was a fighter, but now I'm more of a Roleplayer. Speaking of roleplaying, what's been going on around here? *In his best Cell voice* Mmmm...A tournament you say? I agree. Anyone think we could get one started up here, maybe use it to bring in some new people? If we all pitch into the pot, it would probably get fairly huge.

It's good to see fighters switch roles, though. Or even balance them. My trainer shoved speed styles down my throat, then turned around and made me learn to para-fight so I'd have an even playing field. He was pretty stern on balance and all that jazz. Makes for a well-rounded RPer, which is what I liked about this guild to begin with. So many of you are well-rounded that it's a nice change of pace. It's been a remarkable pleasure RPing or fighting with, or against you lot.
I think it'd be fun to have another tournament here. Even if it didn't bring in new people, I've been a creeper watching the last one that was held. I thought to participate, but things were so far in that I just...lurked. ninja

Well as Vice Captain of this Guild* I decree that there shall be a tournament**, with intentions of bringing in new members and of having fun.
Mmm...I didn't have a trainer...I learned the hard way, back in HvH2...Used to roll with Inferno and his group = many, many, MANY fights. That, and something about being a ranked member in an Rp makes it so that everyone wants to fight you...
Not that I'm much of anything now, character being locked away for eternity and all...

Well, ok. I'll be super nice and pitch in 50k for a Recruitment Tournament. Now, who here is willing to volunteer time and/or money to help make this happen?
And since we might be going to get recruitment going again, who would be up for getting the Rp back on track? Wanna have something to show the newbies so they stay, instead of just taking the cash and running away.

I'm thinking just picking up exactly where we left off would work the best, personally. Starting a whole new story line would take too much time, effort, and possibly patience as we'd have to get all the plot rolling before getting to fights and such. We definitely had something solid going, we just got busy.
I think a huge part of it is Jilly. scream Seriously though, someone needs to help him out with characters and plot, he has to go and make like 5 different posts for every one of ours just to keep the story going since he has taken everything upon his shoulders. I don't know if anyone COULD do it better than him, but that is a lot of RPing to do....bravo man.

I don't want to start a new story (Well, honestly, I do...But it would be an offshoot of the main one, and would be a low-magic, mortals only sort of deal...Something I've been thinking of recently.) , and quite honestly, what Jilly has is golden. I think we do need to help out here and there with the guild in general, not just the Rp itself. When I failed at running this, I did learn something: One person doing all the work doesn't work. Jilly has done an exceptional job and for that I commend him. But I think we need more people plotting, scheming, and making...1-3 people working on this and balancing out their lives doesn't work out and has lead to the guild being in this sorry state. That, and I also think that everyone wants to be the hero and no one wants to be the villain. After all, what's Role playing but wish fulfillment? And I know that my wishes scantly involve hurting people for the sake of hurting them. Thus, we are left with scant antagonists in a roleplay and a plethora of protagonists. Well, Jilly, if you need an Antagonist, sign me up. I'm coming out of retirement (woot, yeah, and there was joyous celebration out the land) and I'm willing to help. Now, who else is?

I haven't had a good RP in ages.. And haven't had time for this one.. Soo...
I would probably die early on buuut I would love to join/ help out with the tourny.. I am near broke but I can prolly sell art if I can get my tablet set up to this comp

I dropped out of the YYH tournament just now. It was taking too damned long to get things underway(was supposed to have started about a month ago) and I got bored before it even started. Our team was a last-minute team and no one took an interest in working with one another so it just became pointless. They kept adding rules, removing rules, we had to update our character profiles every other day to accommodate and it was just...stupidly unorganized, really. The competition was remarkably weak except for four individuals. Five, including the guy who was RPing as Hiei. Disappointed.

I have a few things to bring to the table.
I have time for this money to throw in and am willing to use one of two of my chars either Garakon or Takehitsu I'll let you pick which one.
My one condition for this is I have made on offsite Roleplay forum and need help advertising because very few people ever read the anime and manga it's based off of. I literally just got it running a few members for rp within the last few days. I work and live during everyone's nights but I do have the time to invest here so if I could be of service and get you all (well you all dont have to but I need help cause im like the worst advertiser on the planet) to help me advertise im down
