"I couldn't answer any of his questions..." Ryou sobbed, burying his face in Kat's shoulder. "I just didn't know. It's been less than a week, damn it, and I can't remember Kira anymore..."

"No, n-no it isn't. How could you say something like th-that?" Ryou's words were hard to hear through his muffled voice, choked by tears. "I mean, look around. We're both here as sl-slaves to some crazy, possessive man who thinks of us as dolls a-and toys." He couldn't stop his stuttering and trembling, clinging to Kat as though she was the only thing that mattered. To him, at that moment, she was.

Ryou embraced Kat back, forcing his tears away. He would not allow himself to cry. "I'm sorry... this is such a trivial matter..." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes on his sleeve. He could still taste Bakura, which made him continue to tremble. "Do you need me to help with your back still?"

Ryou was motionless for a moment, then began to kiss Kat back slowly. He couldn't ignore the feeling in his stomach, which was thrilled to be so close to Kat like this, but also twisting as he felt horribly dirty for this. All of this.

Ryou forced himself to pull away gently from Kat. He didn't feel as though he was being fair. Biting his bottom lip, he glanced to the floor. "Kat... Do you even know about the Millennium Items?" It had just struck him that she might not know who Bakura was.

"Yeah... You don't know who Kira is, do you?" Ryou wanted to make sure that she knew everything. He remembered her confusion before, and then wondered if it would be a good idea or not if he told her.
