Random Koji thought of the day: So I've just been thinkin', I know that this guild is mostly about RPs that take place in the present, and a couple other non-present day RPs that have been started in the guild didn't really flourish [even the avatar RP seems to have withered]. However, I've been terribly in the mood to do a good fantasy style RP lately and I was wondering if anyone else would be willing to keep it up. I think that maybe because the main RP and the other popular RPs in this guild are set in the present and somewhat relate to each other, the other RPs don't get as much attention. So would it be easier to focus on if it was in a different guild, or would that distract from it even more? I'd be more than willing to blow the dust off of my old RP guild if anyone wanted to join me in an RP. [/textwall]

Some of us here RP in 'Children of Arcadia'! Myself, Casey, Katie, and Pen are pretty good about going from one Guild to another for Roleplaying but I won't speak for them. But I, however, am VERY good about it! So yes! I'm all in!

.o. well there were a couple rps we had started in my guild a couple years ago, but we only had about 4 members so things died when one decided to leave.. .x. one of them was more steampunkish, about demon hunters who were investigating the strange goings on in an old mansion to try and get a reward for killing whatever was haunting there; meanwhile a group of thieves was pillages the ruins to make their own profit. It only lasted maybe 16 pages, but it was interesting.
Another one hadn't even really started when the guild died, I was the first and only post, lol. It was a similar concept [I seemed to be in the mood for bounty hunting] only more in the traditional medieval fantasy time setting where knights were sent to slay something terrorizing a village in the kingdom. sweatdrop not the most rounded out concept I'll admit, but I wouldn't mind brainstorming and reforming it.

Honestly I'm not a fan of Steam Punk, but I like the idea! I like Fantasy RPs- Like the RP in CoA! biggrin

I just like it because I get to mix all the prettiness of the Victorian era with nifty futuristic gadgets. I'm not entirely sure we actually ever alluded to steam punk now that I think of it, but it's always how I imagined things, lol. Kind of like how I pictured that Shin'Ar rp we had in here, even though they never really said it was. >>; guess I have a bad habit of doing that..
Anyway, we'll need to do some brainstorming .o.

I love the Victorian Era, just not when there's ******** clocks every where!
"Hey, Angelo! You know what time it is?"
"Sure! Here! Take a look at my a**!"
"Oh cool! You have a clock on your- Hello! [Tilts head to the side]"
Or your car breaks down and it's like, "Um. Hey, anyone have any spear parts? My car broke down just a couple blocks from here!"
"Oh sure!! Hold on!!" [Exits the room only to come back, like, twenty minutes later completely naked because his entire war drobe consisted of: Gears. Go figure.]
FIN!
. . . Lol Yeah, I kinda hate Steampunk that much. lol XD

Reading all of this is amusing. I'm with Styk on the gears thing.
I would like to possibly do another RP, but the more I take on, the more likely I'll just let it fall off the face of the earth while I write something interesting for the main.
(Also, I wouldn't be able to post much by the time the RP is formed anyway; I'll be moving in early July on a long road trip with probably no internet until I get to grandma's house, and even then I need to see if my laptop's internet will actually work there. It had a nasty habit of not working last time I was there.)
