Yes... *flushes a bit more. He really doesn't want to know how much Kara bothered him last night... or why?* ...well. K seems like a nice fellow. I'd just hate it if Kara caused some trouble for him. *or for me, he adds silently*
*he ponders a moment, then asks* Maggie... have you met anyone on the Brink named Luca?

I haven't either... *he frowns* Maggie, what K is worried about is bigger than just his sister. I think he's afraid that Kara might do something to jeopardize his future. Something that involves this Luca person... and Cora.

Cora? *Maggie looks doubly concerned at the mention of their friend* She's connected te them, somehow? *her frown deepens, and her voice takes on a protective sort of tone* Do ye . . do ye think this Kara might try to do something te harm Cora?

I don't know... Kara seems... *he thinks* No, soft isn't the word, but I don't think she'd stand much of a chance against Cora. *ponders* And honestly, I don't think that she intends to harm anyone... at least... not out of malice.

I found this book though. I've been trying to read it, but I keep getting distracted.
*he wanders over to the bar where he and Luke were drinking and sure enough, it's still sitting there. He picks up the old gray tome and brings it over to show Maggie*

*She's relieved that she at least isn't too ignorant of her own language, even though she may be about others. Maggie considers the title as he translates it for her - getting the distinct feeling she's still missing something here. She furrows her brow in thought*
