darkmag07 And in response to Kyosono: Yeah college is way over the top. No wonder so many students go out and get drunk. I still intend to go of course since life without a college degree sucks. If I'm not interested in it why would forcing it upon me make me learn better? I really don't care for some of the subjects and like many students the information goes in one ear and out the other after the test and finals. As closing statements (untill if/when someone responds) I shall say that another thing I haven't mentioned is a person's own drive to learn and be successful. I am often accused of such a thing and I do like to learn and expand my knowledge and I have high grades and am a successful student and athlete. And truth be told I don't really have anything "better" to do than school work but it isn't particularly enjoyable to anyone. I was just venting some steam that had built up due to constant annoyance with a certain teacher who hasn't really taught me anything this year and another teacher who assigned this big project before the final and all the information has nothing to do with it thus distracting me from studying for that (but I do have almost 100 in that class not like missing a few points is going to kill my grade). ~darkmag07 Not sure if that was an invitation for me to respond, but I will for the fun of it. College is only way over the top if you aren't prepared for it, as are most things in life. Though I do agree that some people get drunk to relieve the stresses of school, I think drinking is usually used to have fun at parties or to forget more important stresses, such as break-ups, family issues and whatnot. I assumed you were interested in your subjects since you didn't bring it up before. Why should the teacher treat you differently when others in the class actually do care for what they're learning? Truth is, they deserve a better grade for the work they put in if it is more than what you have done, giving teachers the right to grade it to show that difference. High school doesn't just teach subjects; it teaches how to work hard, and spending exactly an hour a day learning one subject will not teach you that. Now, considering the fact you have good grades, why on earth are you complaining? Everyone is going to have teachers he/she doesn't agree with (I've had plenty), but in the long run it really doesn't matter. Life goes on.

Dark Holy Willow Sorry for my lack of activity yesterday and today... Yesterday when I got home from school, a problem that I have with my stomach had started to act up. The best way that I can describe it is like being on my period, except a pain magnification of about 100... so I've basically been confined to my bed since 3:30 yesterday afternoon. x_x I'll post more when I can. And in regards to the talking about school and homework and junk: School might seem like a hell hole because of the work that you're assigned and because of some of your peers, but when your years are over and you don't get to see your friends five days out of seven, you'll miss it, a lot. Take it from someone who knows, kthxbai. The same thing happened to me yesterday D: My stomach was hurting so much I could barely move (which is why I was absent yesterday...) I hope you feel better, Willow. Take care of yourself. We need you. heart
School is just a stepping-stone into the bigger, badder world. When you hit post-secondary school, you'll probably feel 1 of 2 ways. 1) You’ll wonder why high-school took so long and why it sucked so much in comparison to the uberness that its college/uni, or 2) you'll pine for the days when tasks were much easier, and teachers were far more lenient and understanding.

Suicide!! I' can't stop crying right now!!" I'm SO scared!!! ;______________; That is very scary...just try to calm down and think reasonably. And remember that you have a big sis you can talk to if you need her, just say the word.
