It had been so long since Veroen had a nice drink...Once he noticed the bar, called Demonic Ties, he felt intrigued by the looks of it, and the sense of powerful creatures inside. he decided to take a look. As Veroen walked through the entrance of the intriguing bar, he noticed an odd looking character heading for the exit, behind him, an eagle and a wolf followed. A Lycan... He thought to himself as he walked towards one of the empty tables in the darker corners of the bar. there, he sat in silence, pondering over his own affairs. He watched quietly as the Lycan he saw about to leave earlier, waved goodbye to a female hunter. again, he sat in silence observing his surroundings, studying all of the immortal, and mortal beings that surrounded him, and keeping his sword close, prepared for any encounters that may get ugly.

Rogue's luck was not in tonight as Neko was indeed sitting in the Ties, back in a corner where Rogue couldn't see her. It seemed that the vampire had been too far strung to smell the Animalian, either.

Truth be told, Neko was in a right state herself. She had dark circles under her eyes from loss of sleep and she hadn't stepped foot outside of the Ties in months. What she had done still haunted her, apparently. Standing up, it was obvious that she hadn't been eating properly either. Her usually curvy figure was becoming gaunt and too thin, her small shirt and jeans hanging off of her body when once they had fit her perfectly.

"Get out." she said as she stood behind Rogue. Haunted or no, Neko still did not want the vampire elder in her bar.

"You always cause trouble where ever you go. All you vampires do." Neko said, looking very scary for such a thin little thing. She looked almost like some sort of vengeful creature out of a Japanese horror film. Obviously, having Rogue around didn't make Neko look any better.

Neko hardly seemed to care about what Rogue said about her appearance. "At least I don't look dead." she said back, glaring a little. "Oh wait, that's right. You ARE dead. Maybe a little sunlight would do you some good if you don't get burned to a crisp first."

"My husband is far better than any guy you could ever hope for." Neko retorted, resisting the urge to slap the vampire. "I think you'd look good in a tan, one of the whole body kinds. Maybe you should look into it."

"Don't you leave blood stains and bodies everywhere?"

"Oh, I know about them." Neko said, glaring even harder at the other elder. "I know that the hunters have gone back on their word and have been decimating our numbers. All of us have been hit and their leaders are doing nothing to stop it."

"They've been causing us too much trouble for too long. With their constant changes in leadership and inability to commit to an agreement, they're now endangering anyone in this city who isn't human or one of them."
