Well there is no one to switch with/wanted to switch or take my Thursday. I really don't think I should call out though because I know I am the only one closing for cashiers. Obviously I would rather not work but... I really need to call out when I actually need to, not just when I want to. Like when I am really sick or something else happens.

I'm working 1:30-9:15 tonight and am going to just go over Austin's after. This way we have some actually alone time before I go, even if it is only for a couple of hours. Then tomorrow I work an odd shift of 3-7 and Austin is gunna come over.... and then Thursday is the 3:30-9:15. I have to go home, get the ferrets and bring them to my friends and make sure I'm all packed and ready. But Austin said he might come over, hopefully. Maybe in the morning if he can.

I don't know, obviously I am excited to go to Florida. But I still want to spend time with him before I go. I'm gunna miss him, but of course it will be worth it.

I dunno. Today is gunna suck but hopefully tonight is good. This is my long day so I feel like once I make it through it I'll be good to go.

Already got most of my packing done. Most my clothes and all, made a list of carry-on stuff I want to bring and everything else. I'm ready.

It was actually pretty chill. The older ladies (one looked like my great aunt barbara, fo real) kinda knew it all was lame but enjoyed being peppy about it anyways.

Store manager is a pretty cool guy, eh looks like the red-haired dad from Beetlejuice and doesn't afraid of anything.

hiring manager was pretty cool too. They do not do the squiggly at this wal-mart by the way.

And people actively run away from doing mission meetings and the others just laughed. :3

Played some games, yep. lulz. Gotta work tomorrow and friday, 9- 2:30pm. ^_^ HOURS. But it's just all training. Moar training on monday,though that's a full 9am-6pm shift. ^_^

Lol there were only 3 other people in orientation,they were kinda cool. a younger chick for working in back and a younger dude for working in toys. There was a pharmacy tech too, a bit older than me, maybe 28ish? She was cool and we're sharing lockers.

which I'd have found weird but i don't think they make guys and girls share lockers, so they split the other two up with other people.

Yep, twas good. Bought myself a delicious sandwich for lunch- about $3, and the whole grain bread was actually whole grain- not a bit of wheat and tons of corn syrup like I've learned subway has.Ewww.

Lol though, I need to do some exercises because my back hurts from just sitting and walking around (only a bit) today. Which is not good.

Produce looks like it'll be tons of fun though! Met this older lady named Mary who was working in the back, an associate like me. ^_^ It'll be fun to put out foodssssssssss. I was bored of orientation though, just want to get out there.

i'm going to make sure to pay really good attention and learn quickly and efficiently, this way I can be scheduled for good hours next week. Apparently a lot of the produce people are off on maternity leave.

Which appears to be a career death sentence here. The one lady who was the training manager used to be personnel, but then she left and had a baby like 15yrs ago or more and when she got back she got shuffled to a different department and someone else had her job. Yup.

Also managed to not flinch through the union video. xD That was the most painful part, really. I don't know much about unions but the way they presented them in the video was just really sneakily bad. xP

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay work at 9am tomorrow. Gotta get up at 7 so I can make da busss. Lulz. But I can take the bus home!!!! Since I'll get out early. And I'm freeeeeeeeeee for the weekend. Happy days!

So I 'worked' 8 hours today, have 5 1/2 tomorrow and 5 1/2 on friday... another 8 on monday. ^_^ So 27 hoursssssss yaayyyy. 27 in 6 days. I hope this shall be a habit, only with about... 4 more hours tacked on somewhere. xD

D: Your work is smelly, Naz. Can't you just ask them to put you somewhere else? Just say you're not very happy in salad and that you think you'll be of more use/more efficient somewhere else. O_o

Computer things tomorrow, CDL's or whatever, I'm pretty sure.

GIMME A W!!!!!! They gave us free mini-bottles of sunny D and mini chocolate donuts for the first break though.

Sunny D is mostly water and high fructose corn syrup but both of those ladies reminded me of my grandma and I was too polite to refuse. They had free cappucino and coffee in the break room and the younger girl and guy were kinda chugging it. I was all 'lol there's probably hydrogonated oils in there'

they drink 2-3 cups of that a day, they's gonna get faaaat. I had a bit though, was good. Too sweet though.

I'd rather partake in the regular coffee though, if at all. S'probably horrid. XD

Lol the people behind the meat counter are hilarious. I was like 'hey can you tell me where the nearest phone is so I know where to go if I have to call in a code?' and they're all 'lol no clue' x3

And there was a... hmmm the manger guy in charge of spills/cleanup and who put together all the shelves in the back and all that. He was pretty cool. Short.

Got to go out on the floor today, cuz I finished the rest of my training vids in like, an hour. Had 7ish left, and then had to watch another short vid.

^_^ Very fast paced and busy and I love it and I'm happy. Tired now that I've stopped moving around but yeah.

The people i work with are really nice, and the two older ladies are really .. SWEET.

x3 I love older ladies. one called me sweetheart when checking up and this other, she's like 'Oh I'm so clumsy, I'm the clumsiest, I always get to go back to the office for talks'

And I'm like. ' sad *Thinking* You're half my height and 2 1/2 times my age and you're shaped like my gramma, you can't help if you drop things because they're too heavy and whatnot.'

Made me sad. So I just resolved to lift more things myself when she's around. *Nods* :3

Bought me some bananas. They were good bananas, no spots really, but kinda sad looking on the outside, like they'd been rolleda round too much. Knew they'd just get thrown out so I bought 'em. Delicious, no spots on them on the inside.

gonna go do sum dishes now, methinks.
