"i have one thing i wish to do...I want to be like Seph... i know the sensei have their assistants ... each element taught here does... I want to becomes Seph, that way I can help people like he did for me. I don't want to be bad, but i don't usually have a choice when it happens. I want to be good, i want to help like i said before. I just can't do it though, I've been trying and then things go wrong, like i'm just destined to live with an unhappy ending."

Nyl laughed quietly - not at Mai, just in understanding.
"You've only been here for a little while, Mai. We all have our issues, but we've had the time to work through and around them. ...I think you could make it as Seph's shojiki." Her voice was serious, and she looked Mai right in the eye as she said it.

by the way she had said that, it was obvious to see how many times she had been lied to before, or used to someones will by the way she said it and the question she asked.

"i hope so, I'd just wish we'd start the lessons...I already know jutsus involving fire and i have been progressing on my own, but my control of it...... is no where near what it should probably be."

Having a twinge of uneasiness from earlier, Tutsumi headed into the kitchen and took out a can of ice tea as he then headed onto the porch. The cool wooden floor of the Academy felt great against his bare feet, and the nice crisp air would feel even better on his bare upper body.
Mmm...feels good...I like this feeling...
