It just might be enough of an eyesore to detract them for a few moments, but after that you'll be stuck just hitting them over and over with it and finding that it has no effect.

Unless of course, their undead eyes have rotted away! Then no distractions, and just a decorative bludgeon in your hands.

And noting the word "decorative", I'd say that's just about the extent of its abilities. After a little while of being used as a bludgeon it'd grow weak and snap in half. Then there goes your 7.5k right down the drain. Tsk tsk.

Talon Fire is better used for body disposal. I dont think the Roman's used it as a primary weapon. Normally, yes, but if you look at the section, it was. They built a big-a** trench, filled it with oil, and set it on fire a little before the zombies got to the trench. Zombie barbecue. There were thousands of zombies, but only a few hundred made it across, and they were soon dealt with.

Ohoho. Mine Comrade doesn't have the connections that Talon can boast. Perhaps Was simply doesn't know where to look?

Well actually, I was just noting marketplace prices at the moment. I got three sealed envelopes. One was free, the others were 6.5k. You're right though, I don't have connections.

Hmmm, but that's in a specified area. Just using fire would loose a mobile torch on nearby woods, houses, or what have you.
7.5k now? Who's buying those ugly things for those prices?

So long as you think it was worth the gold you spent on it, that's all that matters.
