The lightning bouncing around Shinji's skin zapped Ryu when he grabbed Shinji. Shinji nodded slowly.
"What I said still stands. I will help you. Wait until we are higher ranked if we must, but we will stop the slavery."

Shinji tilted his head.
"Perhaps not all of it. But we will raze the village, give the survivors something to think about."

Ryu smiled, he had finally found friends, one of them was possible an everlasting friend, the other only time would tell. "Thanks Shinji, do you have a house... I'm living in the Archives?"

Shinji shook his head.
"I've been staying in the Dorms lately. I want to move back into my aunt's house, it's certainly large enough but.... it has some bad memories that I don;t really envy facing on my own yet."

"Sure not a problem." Shinji grinned slightly. Then he looked over at the other boy.
"But what about this young man here? What is his name by the way?"

"His name is Quan, he's from a small village outside of the village, but I'd like to know how a blind person manages to come all the way up into the sky." Said Ryu with a large strand of ramen sticking out of the left edge of his mouth.

Shinji nodded.
"He seems to see things even though he can;t. He's probably become well adapted to being blind, and compensates through his other senses. For instance, he might hear echoes when he's walking of things around him, and if necessary, his sense of touch might be so powerful that he can feel disturbances in the air around him." The boy shrugged.
"I had a lot of time to read, and just about the only thing locked in that room with me were text books."

Tilting his head to the side Ryu looked to Ryu "what do you mean locked inside of a room?"

Shinji sighed and looked up at the stars again.
"I'll...it's hard to talk about. Come by the dorms later and I'll tell you ok? I need to get my thoughts together first." He stood up and collected the remains of his ramen. He shimmered into lightning again and bounced away..

Nodding Ryu put away his ramen and looked to Quan "您可以到达宿舍也." (you can also come to the dorms.) He said with a smile although Quan couldn't see it.

 Cannot see your face, cannot hear your voice... Quan grinned as he accepted the bowl of ramen from Shinji, and sat down to eat. He knew that the older boy and the Chinese guy he just met were talking about him, even though he could not hear them. Of course, Shinji's perception of him was not innacurrate, but the truth was far from that. He nodded when Ryu told him that he could come to the dorms as well. At least these people were nicer than the ones he met when he just came to the Cloud village. Gathering the remains of his ramen, Quan proceeded to walk out of the training grounds to the dorms, he seemed to know the way even though he could not see and he has never been there before. ...This hell is my realm.
