Mia by nature was a light sleeper, she always had been, it might have to do with the fact she could do with little sleep. Still, she did as she always did, laid there until she could hear the stirrings of the house. Unfortunately with elves, she couldn't tell if the home was stirring, but with her siblings and Donovan there she could at least tell when someone was up. It was only then did she get up to take off her nightgown and put on her unusual school uniform.
Yue was more or less in the same state as Triton rising out of bed just as the sun was. He unbraided his hair, he had done so the night before so he wouldn't have to spend so much time untangling it. Otherwise it would be bothersome if they had to leave as soon as they were able.
Lin blinked sleepily from under her covers before covering them over her head again and burying herself deep into the sheets. She hadn't at all been sleepy last night, so getting up now was a bit of a problem.

Donovan was already putting on a new set of silk whites, seeing as they weren't out of the desert quite yet. Though he couldn't wait until they were, he wasn't exactly fond of the desert out of all the terrains he had to travel, and while he wasn't fond of cold arctic terrians, it was somewhat better... barely. Grabbing his bag he headed down to the main area, expecting everyone would show up there evenually, none of the people from the family were late sleepers.

Gion was awake and dressed long before his brother even started to stir, and he made no attempt to wake Elrohir. He had no real desire to speak with his brother. What needed to be said had been said the night before. He was content to leave and let Elrohir wake up on his own time.
He made sure his bag was completely packed with both his and Nadya's things before slinging it over his shoulder and picking up the sword that contained Daemon. He sheathed the sword on his back and took one final glance at his still-sleeping brother before heading downstairs.
When he reached the living room, he spotted Donovan, who appeared to be waiting for the others. He greeted the man with a nod, his hands too full to sign.

Nadya sensed conscious minds gathering in the house, but she paid them no mind. When everyone was ready, they would come looking for her. At least, Gion would. She wanted a few more minutes to herself first to ponder her vision, to unravel the meaning it was trying to tell her.

Triton came down a few moments later, trusting that Yue would be behind shortly. He wasn't surprised that Donovan was already awake, in a way this was Donovan's job and he took it seriously he suppose.
"Morning."

Yue did come down, his hair braided once more, since the weather was too hot even for his pretty white head. He looked around a bit and nodded his morning greetings.
It was Mia who creeped down silently in her school uniform holding Alice in her arms. The cat now as black was it was before it got dirtied by the desert.

Gion set his things down so that his hands were empty and looked around at the others.
Is everyone ready? he wrote in the air, the English letters showing up vividly in the darkness of the early morning. He had chosen to write instead of sign to make sure that everyone would be able to see - plus, he wasn't sure if Mia knew sign language at all.

Donovan was on edge, but not because he was nervous, it was just the feel of doing something like this again to be useful.
"Sure, don't need anything else," he muttered.
He had already checked his weapons, and his things, they should be fine for the trip.

"Ready," Triton murmured watching Gion.
He wasn't sure what to explain though...

Mia nodded at the question holding up Alice. Alice she thought was willing too, though it was hard to imagine she thought of Alice as another being, for if she was doing that for the sake of appearances. With Mia at times it was hard to tell.
"Yes," was Yue's simple answer.
He would be ready for what was needed, this was probably oging to be a long trip for them, and the sooner they could get it done, the sooner they could get rid of one problem plaguing some innocent people.
Lin mfted a bit as she finally woke up, crawling out of bed, she threw a pillow down and used it as a landing cushion to get out of bed. This way she could get changed and all that in piece. She wondered absently if there was anything to eat....

Gion nodded and beckoned for everyone to follow him, then picked up his things once more and headed outside. They could eat on the road, he knew they were in a hurry.
He paused in the doorway, seeing Nadya standing on the front porch, apparently lost in thought. Well, she needed to be as ready as the rest of them. He reached out and touched her arm to get her attention.

Nadya was startled by the touch, and her thoughts fled from her mind and her eyes grew focused. She turned and saw the group, all apparently ready to leave, and so of course waiting for her to tell them where they would be going.
"Come," she murmured, stepping off the porch and starting up the lane. "We must get the horses. We have far to go."
She started leading them north, towards the stables.

Earendil was halfway to the top of the mountain when he realized that he had forgotten Lin. He felt bad, but he merely sighed. It couldn't be helped. Besides, it was probably for the better. An army training area was no place for a child of any age, let alone one so small. He was certain she would be taken care of, after all there were people everywhere who could direct her anywhere she wanted to go, supply her with anything she might need.
And this way, he wouldn't have to break any rules ... though he knew his uncle would be lenient towards him, as he always was, if he were to bring Lin up there. There was no way he would allow her anywhere near any of the weapons or the trainees, though. That much he knew for fact.

Yue raised a brow, he had never ridden on a horse and there was never a need to. So.. well this should be interesting, someone was going to have a sore rump when this was over.
Mia blinked, "We're going to ride horses?"
Well that was a given, but she couldn't imagine riding horses in her clothes, maybe she should have worn a longer skirt or something like that.
Once combed, dressed and washed properly Lin poked her head out of the door. Nina of course helped her, it was the only way she was going to get out. Lin though, didn't know where to go, but she supposed if she asked directions she could find her way well... where did they have breakfast? Or better yet where was the kitichen?

Donovan blinked before looking at Yue and Triton, "I forgot.... Kara doesn't own a horse... and she's lived close to the city."
Donovan, if one was to inclined to believe it or not, knew how to ride a horse. It was a clan thing and horses were more conivent once one got closer to the mountains than using cars.
